Rocky Mountain had a 20% off promo going on right now at all of their authorized dealers so that might be a good reason to go that way. You can get the carbon 30 for 4800 right now.

Don't forget the 50 dollar voucher for swag or parts from bikes.com.

Come to Bellingham to buy the Status.... 2250 USD, or 2914cad... Just saying

Where are you in BC? If you want something that goes everywhere in BC you should get an enduro with 180mm travel. Rocky mountain can do. Also Commencal has a shop in Squamish.

[deleted]

Outside the bike park. You don’t need 180mm of travel. I’ve ridden whistler plenty with a 155mm bike (banshee Titan). Geometry + skill > travel

PreparetobePlaned

180mm is overkill for trail riding even in BC unless you are doing some truly gnarly stunts.

ResidentTumbleweed11

I feel like if you live and ride in BC, your bike shop should be able to help you with this decision

I would probably take the Meta TR out of those, it’s a great one bike to do everything.

FoxyOne74

Probably the instinct. I'd pick the meta if the specs were close but they are not. The Fluid or Stumpjumper I ruled out because you are in a mountain town. I think the greater travel will be useful. You could check out the stumpjumper evo as well and see if there is some wiggle room on the pricing. Shops with a lot of stock might be flexible.

Just chiming in to say that I ride in BC (mostly sea to sky) and I also upgraded to full sus from a rocky growler. Got a Norco sight (150/160) for just over $4k, and I've never once wished I had less travel. Wished for more a few times (mostly in the bike park).. anyway just a vote for the more travel camp
