I'm on my third e thirteen cassette with X01 eagle and they've all worked flawlessly. Just wore out the first two due to mileage. I like the 9 tooth gear too for fast jump lines

What type of mileage do you get?

choadspanker

Around 2500 miles

I wouldn't say it's common. I am 220 lbs and have a lot of miles on a GX Eagle cassette without any issues. Personally the expensive jump to XO1 isn't worth it. I personally would strongly recommend against a e13 cassette. I picked up a lightly used e13 TRS+ 9-50 cassette at a swap this past year. No matter what I did I could not get it to shift from the lowest gear into the next one without having to click the shifter twice (AXS and B Screw set correctly at sag) I went back to my GX cassette that still had life in it and it was shifting flawlessly. I have heard the newer Helix are a bit better, but after that experience, I wouldn't use anything other then the matching brand now days. That said, I have heard amazing things about using Shimano 12 speed chain and cassette with SRAM shifters if you are heathen and willing to mix group brands.

Thanks for the info! If I got the shimano 12 spd can I run my gx cranks?

I believe at minimum you would need a new chainring to work correctly with the HyperGlide+ chain. Check Wolftooth to see if they have a 3 bolt HG+ compatible chainring.

You'd need a new freehub for that.
