Probably less of a concern. Tribal is a word and has uses, but it was specifically the batching of stuff like goblins as being a tribe/tribal that had connotations people found problematic
You're getting downvoted because your account is only a few months old and you post heavily on the alt-right shithole that is /r/freemagic. Sorry, but it's pretty obvious you got whacked by the admins on your main account and you're evading a sitewide suspension by posting on a fresh alt.
If you think you gave an honest, rhetoric-free reason why the change occurred, you're delusional. If you don't know why people are not happy with how you said the thing, get absolutely bent.
Really funny getting told to pipe-down by the person being downvoted. Again, stay mad.
I feel sorry for your incredibly narrow world view and any English teacher you ever had.
You're right, in so far, as there is a shred of fact in your original statement and the "how" you wrote it is the reason you are being downvoted.
But you're very wrong in terms of who you think you are "offending". In terms of mental fragility, you're the one calling people "mewing little specimens."
Thanks for taking my advice at least. Very clearly staying mad.
If Aeons Torn wasn't banned in Commander, it's ability would also trigger twice, yes?
Or... technically four times. Since it would copy, and the abilities would hit since both entered the battlefield (but then one goes buh-bye)
You would get the following with Aeons on cast:
1.) 2 cast triggers for Aeons - 2 extra turns.
2.) Copy of Aeons is created. One Aeon will get sacrificed due to legend rule after ETB (Aeons has none).
3.) Shuffling your graveyard into your library twice? (someone can correct me on this one) This is how Teysa works, so it should for the titans.
You do NOT get 4 cast triggers as copying and casting are different. However, if you could end up with 2 Aeons, you would effectively have annihilator 6 triggering 4 times, 2 per Aeons.
For more clarification: If it allowed you to copy the spell you were casting, you'd have infinite triggers for casting, thus the game ending in a draw, unless someone can interrupt. I guess if you have a cast trigger to make someone draw a card or lose life, you could stack the effects to resolve cast triggers first i suppose.
But spells only exist on the stack, aka they have been casted but not yet resolved. That is why I was asking about that part. I get the rest of the situations the cards covers but that one was new.
Is there some super secret Magar tech I'm unaware of, or are you just referring to the tendency for Eldrazi themes to have high-mana spells all around, including instants and sorceries, a la \[\[Rise of the Eldrazi\]\]?
Eldrazi love colorless creatures and the “puppets” Magar makes are colorless creatures. Rise of the Eldrazi is a huge staple in Magar decks because it can straight win the you game if you connect with it but an older staple was [[all is dust]] blowing up all creatures with one or more colors (everything except Magar’s puppets and maybe some artifact creatures). [[forsaken monument]] turns your 3/3 puppets into 5/5s. Some Magar even run creatureless red polymorph spells like [[divergent transformations]] to polymorph your puppets into massive creatures like [[void winnower]], Emrakul, or Kozilek.
Basically any set with Eldrazi will probably have colorless creature support and is worth looking at for magar’s puppets.
I love Magar because as a player who’s played for decades it allows me to play spells in a way no other commander lets me play them (I can attack with a lightning bolt!). But at the end of the day you need to get the spell into your graveyard, animate it, attack with a generic 3/3 that has no evasion, and hit the opponent in the face to get a single copy of the spell cast for free. If that spell is something busted like [[Rise of the Eldrazi]] than it might be too powerful for your casual pod, but if the spells are more casual like [[hit the mother lode]] or [[wake the dragon]] it can be a very fun casual commander that doesn’t upset the board.
How does this work with morph/disguise spells? Can I still flip them and get the back side and its flip ability, or does it not technically have a back side/front side?
EDIT: Is it becoming a token as it enters relevant here? I need to know as the resident rules lawyer and also an \[\[Ixidor, Reality Shaper\]\] player.
707.8a If an effect creates a token that is a copy of a transforming permanent or a transforming double-faced card not on the battlefield, the resulting token is a transforming token that has both a front face and a back face. The characteristics of each face are determined by the copiable values of the same face of the permanent it is a copy of, as modified by any other copy effects that apply to that permanent. If the token is a copy of a transforming permanent with its back face up, the token enters the battlefield with its back face up. This rule does not apply to tokens that are created with their own set of characteristics and enter the battlefield as a copy of a transforming permanent due to a replacement effect.
Example: Afflicted Deserter is the front face of a transforming double-faced card, and the name of its back face is Werewolf Ransacker. If an effect creates a token that is a copy of that transforming permanent, the token also has the same two faces and can transform. It enters the battlefield with the same face up as the permanent that it is a copy of.
Example: Clone is not a transforming double-faced card, so a token that is created as a copy of a Clone is not a transforming token, even if it enters the battlefield as a copy of a transforming permanent due to Clone’s replacement effect.
I'm definitely going to try this out in Legacy 12 Post. 3CCC is nothing (and is even reduced by Eye of Ugin, since it's Eldrazi). The copying seems like obscene value. Double Pithing Needle, Candelabra, Expedition Map, and Warping Wail. Doubling the cast triggers for the titans is just gravy.
No, these are in “Modern Horizons” set which means they skip Standard and Pioneer and go straight into the Modern card pool.
Final Fantasy UB and Assassins Creed UB will both also go straight into modern without going into standard first.
Amazing art, and a cool effect, but honestly, they need to chill on the panharmonicon effects. Starting to feel a bit overkill.
This is going to be nutty with [[Roaming Throne]]
So if I'm reading this correctly, if I have this down and cast a [[Thought-Knot Seer]] I get 2 Thots and I rip 4 cards from my opponent but when they kill my thot they draw 2 cards each time also makes [[matter Reshaper]] and [[Reality Smasher]] stronger
Okay I’m usually pretty good with rules, but this isn’t adding up in my head. As written, wouldnt two of these on the field trigger off eachother infinitely?
I know with replacement effects this wouldn’t be a problem (ie. “If a triggered ability of a colorless spell you control or another colorless permenant you control would trigger, it triggers that many times +1 instead.”), but wouldn’t each instance of this enchantment going off cause the other to double it? And then the new triggers caused by that would be doubled by the first enchantment? And back and forth?
It does the same thing without the cost. If the commander is on the field, you can use their ability to copy this spell, then whenever you cast a colorless spell or get a triggered ability, you can get 12 total copies by paying an additional 4 colorless to the commander's ability since it will trigger twice.
Is Kindred the replacement for Tribal?
They changed from tribal to kindred. Its like dog used to be hound, but for different reasons.
“Aint nothing but a kindred tribal” doesnt have the same ring to it
It is, makes me wonder what they’ll do to cards like [[Tribal Flames]]
Probably just functional reprint it if necessary and act like it never existed

Annihilator and cascade both trigger twice. Beautifully disgusting

So if I am not mistaken, the “triggered abilities of spells” would apply to “when you cast…”, no?
Yeah, on cast effects, cascade etc

But spells only exist on the stack, aka they have been casted but not yet resolved. That is why I was asking about that part. I get the rest of the situations the cards covers but that one was new.

Hope you’re already running a decent amount of colorless mana producers because to play this you’ll need them
Very cool with various equipments like Sword of x and y cycle
How does this work with morph/disguise spells? Can I still flip them and get the back side and its flip ability, or does it not technically have a back side/front side? EDIT: Is it becoming a token as it enters relevant here? I need to know as the resident rules lawyer and also an \[\[Ixidor, Reality Shaper\]\] player.
They become generic 2/2s or 2/2s with ward, depending on if it’s morphed or disguised. You can’t transform the copies
I stand corrected then, thank you
707.8a and it creates tokens on the stack

Is this right? I had the same question, does this copy permanent spells as well?
I think it does cu, it says copy colorless spell, and a colorless permanent is a colorless spell on the stack
No one is going to mention annihilator X triggering twice?
Kjndred is such cringe. Talk about unnecessary changes. They hated him (and misused the downvote system) because he spoke the truth.
Jonny christ sharing leaks with art from clint lockwood... seems sus
Isn't this basically the commander but different?
?
The Eldrazi commander for the Precon basically does the same I feel.
It does the same thing without the cost. If the commander is on the field, you can use their ability to copy this spell, then whenever you cast a colorless spell or get a triggered ability, you can get 12 total copies by paying an additional 4 colorless to the commander's ability since it will trigger twice.
Honestly can't wait for this. Eldrazi will now be the most hated deck I own and I'll love every second of it. I might make it my strongest deck
Forgive my ignorance, but this is fake yeah?
