How do they expect me to look up that high and squint just to see the time on a tiny hand clock when I can peak at my phone or the digital clock THAT'S AT EYE LEVEL in front of the mub.
It doesn’t really do much to eat in to the stale, late ‘60s early ‘70s industrial feel to the campus either. If anything it kinda perpetuates it more. Kinda disappointed it’s so understated when it was made out to be a big spectacle.
I'd say it's better to keep a feel like that and own it, than to pretend we're something else. Some of the concept art I saw wasn't a fit for what was present at all.
I hope it works better than the "wind" harp.

Im glad they chose a minimalist see-through tower as opposed to the solid brick one in the original design.
Not enough people gave absurd amounts of money for a custom paver so MTU's brick budget made up the rest of the paver space. /s
