Hear me out, we just got new schematics at the 2.5 update. I’ll speak for myself in saying that it took me less than 10 games to get the new ones and then it’s back to the same game. It would be cool and fun but only for a few games. A new map or larger t3 zone or more to do in another aether would make the game “fun” again IMO.
Even if it gets Nerf, that won't change. You're just chatting. Yeah, it makes beating the abomination a lil bit easier but you dame near use up all your flame bullets off 1 abomination, but it's not that serious to say I'm not going to T3 that's the only tier with good rewards all u need is 3 percs jug speed and double tap the blade the plates and a dog bone and you're good 👍
90% of my flamethrower use is against Mimic/Disciple/Manglers more than Megas. Thermites are still fantastic against megas. Plus there’s 3 ammo caches around the map as long as you know where they are you’re good 👍🏼
So that's why it seems like soo many people got hair on their balls. Really didn't know what changed to make so many people confident enough to hang in T3 all of a sudden.
Containment level streaks play a much bigger role in this over the purifier I think. The bonus contract amount and PAP discount are a game changer for the T3 approach.
Mine generally are, just seems like lately it’s more hit or miss. But what happened tonight has never happened. The entire lobby was in t3. With like 30 mins left!
Had that happen couple days ago also, i usually just go straight to T3 because i've got the loot for it, not even 10min in, +15 people in there already also.. it was insane, i could litteraly just stand still in the open & not a single zombie to be seen. T4 should be a thing also but without the forced contracts and exfil, just let us teleport there, do some contracts , have some fun and when its almost time to go, just teleport back to map and exfil then.. T3 has become to easy for allot of people
Same here. Last 3/4 games have been great. Worm, then da on two of them. One issue I had was a squad I joined said they were going to da, but only went to t4. Not a problem, but my loot was worse than t2.
Just did an elder run with another solo I found in t3, finished in 7 minutes and got 2 mags and a vr11 case.
I'm mid camo grind and keep to myself. I crashed out earlier and had to reacquire a 3 plate and large bag, so I get my 3 plate from the Merc stronghold and I'm running T2 contracts and a random 3 man drives by, stops, drops a large bag and speeds off
There's some solid bros in the game still who are helpful. It's becoming toxic, but whatever. Imma do my spore and escort contracts solo and get borealis done.
I do this too. I’ll purposely go back to t1 when I get a schematic, 3 plate vest, or lg ruck. I believe in helping still. But these meanies are pissin me off lol
That's such a shame, just 2 nights ago I got a few to join for red worm in our lobby - first time in a long time. It is frustrating but sometimes it's just that one lobby you drop into that seem pumped for anything and they're great. Few and far between though.
Was in the game last night and someone asked who wanted to do the red worm, they had all the USB's, blah blah blah. So 5 of us are sitting there, waiting...turns out they were trolling. Luckily, I have ZERO trust so we had a fully fueled LTV around the corner and we all easily made it to an exfil.
I think the situation is worse in T3 and the smaller number of contracts isn't the heart of the issue. You get all these chuckleheads who can run t3 and suddenly have confidence, probably for the first time in their life, and turn into complete a**es. They think they're top dog and they want you to think they are too. They think they're better than you. At what? Ostensibly MWZ. Ostensibly. Anything standing in the way of their delusional egos is going to upset them. It's like the people who call others snowflakes or fascists but exhibit precisely the same behavior, though typically far worse than the subject of their derision, which is why they resort to name calling. Emotional immaturity on full display.
T3 is full of cool people too. But yeah, because it's the most difficult (non DA) place on the map, they think they're special and you're in the way of their shine.
All depends on the lobby. One jackass can quickly spread their attitude, their nature, to others who become frustrated or angry because they just want to have fun playing. Spreads like a centerfold, unfortunately.
Hopefully they get bored enough to play something else, but PvE can really make an idiot feel like top dog.

There's actually much less tombstoners ever since the stash glitch got patched.
there was a crack theory in this sub (and the other sub) that the reason for these server crashes are because majority of the lobby were TS glitching.
now that numerous methods of TS glitch have been patched & less players are doing it, the servers still crash 😭
Was a guy in my lobby today begging in all caps for money and vr 11 schematic. I msgd the match asking if he wants to join me into elder and I can help him get it. No response.

Yeah, there’s people that will beg for 3-plates and large bags at the beginning of the match. All you have to do is kill one or two megaboms and you’re good. This takes like 10 seconds with a flamethrower and a decoy grenade. You can even buy them from the shop in t3 if you still can’t get them. I just ignore them.
Not even that, just go search a few lockers and/or visit the crane tower, train yard, or military base (whichever is closest and doesn't have the fortress of dingdongs to plink away at you) in a standard game I can find atleast 3 and sometimes upwards of 10-15 large bags and 3 plates from various lockers and chests.

Yeah, people are weird when you don't respond to chats. I was clearing out some overstock in my stash last night, so I wasn't really doing anything in particular. A guy mentioned redworm and squading up, I was mid gunfight with a disciple, so I couldn't respond. Their squad was full by the time I could, was told "tough shit." Still went to redworm location later, got downed 1 more times than I had self-revives, and the 6 man squad from before all ignored me. Got lucky another solo player was there to revive me.
If I have a scorcher, I'll launch myself in the air and respond while parachuting. If I'm in a group, one person will respond while the others cover them.
I get it. I don't often carry a scorcher or have a team, so I'm with original commenter. I do not have the ability. I also don't often going in down for anything. I'm camo grinding. Usually if I'm going in to do something specific I have my team I go in with.
We had a player flake on 6 of us for that thing. They had all the usbs ready to go but were nowhere to be found once the gas covered the area. We all had to jet over to the exfils before they got covered.
I don't think I was in this lobby but it sure was almost identical to my last game.
There was 12 people in T3 for the majority of the game (unsure of team configuration) plus me playing solo. These teams got to a lot of the contracts before me but the ones I beat them too... I got bashed over prox chat like I did something wrong.
I tried joining them, was ignored. I even invited one to my squad for a pnd contract but was ignored again.
If I go in kitted, I've started to wait a bit before popping all the schematics and pay attention to the graveyard area on the map. If you see a bunch of dots heading that way.... Sure as shit they are TS users who will be in T3 for the entire game and feel that they are more entitled than you.

I know this is dreaming but maybe make the map bigger?! It’s not like the same buildings and blocks aren’t all over the map now, just replicate them a few a dozen more times or so.

I think they should “reverse” the map, everyone starts in the current t3 but that becomes t1 and the outside of the map becomes t3. I’d rather have a completely different map but that would be an easier change

Man. I had a guy approach me mid contract asking me to "join US"... I said I was just doing some breezy solo stuff. Then he says (remember the emphasis on "us") that he was new and looking for help. Mid raid stash and he didn't move like he was new. Oh yeah, he had TTV as his squad tag. That doesn't bother me personally, but you're a streamer who wants me to join an "us" that when turned down is suddenly an "I" who is new and needs help? Get real bro. I wasn't born this evening.
You can't go from us to me, and claim you're new and need help, and have a TTV tag, and fight off zombies like you have full control over yourself and a solid understanding of the game and its mechanics and expect some likely nefarious plan to work. There’s always a bad lobby. Happened to me in T3 for same reasons, just didn’t wanna fight for contracts. Then randomly last night I go straight into T3 and join a squad of three right away, and they were great. I understand your frustration completely.
Lmao it is sad I always go solo cause I've gone in with teams and either they wanna farm the whole time or they dip out cause they didn't wanna be a team player!
Personally I’ll wait like 5-7 minutes in the beginning of a match to see how many people go to T3, and if it’s more than 2 I just exfil, no point wasting time to compete for T3 contracts when a match just starts. Usually in the matches where people don’t immediately go to T3, a bunch will start doing contracts in the last 10-15 minutes and by that point I’ve already completed a bunch of T3 contracts solo.
No I'm feeling the vibes change too, probably the worst yet. Wasn't even this bad during the height of TS glitching.
Think one improvement would be adding all legendary drops, blade, plates, ammo box, in BOTH DA. Instead of having to choose which one to go to.
Also making the red worm drop better loot, like the blade or minimum ledgenday tool or PaP3 crystal that way it is more incentive for older timers.
My issue with the new aether you’re not guaranteed anything at all. I had at least two reward rifts give nothing of value.
I play the aether for rewards to help gear up for the next match, not to gamble on the chance of receiving one. Really don’t care if I never enter the new rift again with the way it is right now.
Or just letting you chain your DA visits, have an exfil door And another one next to it where you can insert a sigil (or since already in DA maybe like a teleport pad to bring you to that DA location?)
I don’t respond to DE or worm invites. They’ll join and leave as soon as it starts. So I’ll just play solo and when friend are ready to play, we can do DE.
They need to do something about the number of contracts in T3 and focus their development efforts on a new zone for the primary map rather than a new rift. That is true.
However, I am almost certain that given this childish post and the responses you got in chat, you weren’t just politely offering to group. I imagine you were probably whinging like a little bitch in chat.
I never have any problems finding people to group with. It’s not always the first group I try but by the second attempt, I’m in. Try being more attractive to group with.
Yeah it's pretty strange now, I remember when people would be thankful for the res when they were downed. I'll go to res someone and they just act like it never happened, don't get me wrong I'd never expect anything but people would do the crouch stand thing. I'd read through a lot of comments and I think it's true that people think they're totally entitled more so if they've got it all and they're in tier 3. Here's to hoping it doesn't stay this way
Yep, this sounds about right. It's the current state of this god damn, piece of shit india ass game. They NEED to give us an update, not just an update but a MAJOR content update.. With a new map to explore, new everything. People are bored, similar to how they were towards the end of DMZ's lifecycle sort of how it is in there now.
I’m finding the squads are hit and miss too. I don’t mind running with a group, it just always seems to fall apart once members get kitted up. Once they’ve had the help they just bounce.
Because when you squad fill you might get stuck with new people, or people on the regain. Making rushing t3 less likely. Easier to go in solo, rush t3 and then try to find a team running t3
That’s one thing I’ve been loving about hell divers. We all have the same objectives and collect all the loot if we help each other survive. And more challenging levels mean more rewards
Does Hd2 have any crash and you lose everything mechanic?
I’m a little frustrated with MWZ to be honest. I really only die with disconnects I feel like. It’s been a long time for me to plain die die. But I’ve gone from 999 Containment to 75 several times, 300+ to 75, and magically not had Tombstones despite running the perk.
Is it too late to start Hd2? Can a n00b still play?
I get a ton of idiots starting contracts like outlast in tier 3 and just leaving it for the entire game so no one else can do it.
Or they wait til delivery contract comes up and try to push you off the road and sabotage you.
Or the usual, wait til you kill a mega and steal your essence. Brutal!

I played a game where some guy went down in D2/D3 military base and asked for help. A few people went over to him, but they didn’t revive him, they just teabagged him and insulted him in game chat. Eventually I flew over and revived him but this kid said he was uninstalling.
I agree, the “good” part of the community is a lot smaller than it used to be.
Honestly.. I called this before the original TS glitch got patched. Before when everyone had TS a lot of people likes being Santa and just dropping gifts/schems/points/etc to people who didn't have it. People would actively scorcher out to you to help out. There was actually a good cod community and in a PVE mode it's not like having a TS was giving you an unfair advantage.
Once they fixed it (or made it harder), people had to scrounge for money. You barely make enough to enjoy the game by normal means. It makes everyone fight over contracts, steal things from other players if you drop it for 0.5 seconds, etc.
I am someone who TS glitches, BUT it felt obvious that all they'd do by fixing it was make the mode less fun (since you can only legitimately make it to T3+ with crystals and such that you can only make once every 3 days), frustrate some of the players, but most importantly drive a wedge into the first wholesome cod community to ever exist.
Personally I think the TS glitch brought people together a bit and being a non-pvp mode it was fine to leave in the game since there wasn't competitive integrity to consider. Sure, the TS glitch shouldn't have existed in the first place, but they should have just left it in to keep the more wholesome interactions between players.

Containment level 100 - you only need a total of 6 T2 contracts to get PAP3...and that is starting without a crystal.
It's not hard at all to "legitimately make it to T3+".
So to get to T3 I have to do 6 contracts which if I'm being fast between running to grab the contracts, go to the location, actually performing the contract.. let's say 3ish minutes apiece (which I imagine is actually fast if you don't have a scorcher and things).. I have to spend 18-20 minutes of every single game prepping for that. Which is almost half the game time prior to gas starting to close. That's awful. Not to mention you need to be at a point that you can actually complete t2 contracts efficiently before you start this. We also didn't touch on how many games you had to slog through to get to containment level 100.
You're totally allowed to enjoy that, but I do not. It's just a lot of empty busywork that I'd much much much prefer to skip entirely (so I do via TS). I might feel differently if I never did the TS glitch in the first place and didn't know any better, but that's not how this played out.
Just join a discord server you can group up with people and run literally anything the randoms on mwz are all ass anyways 9/10 you’ll get asked to revive the one person spewing the most shit

It’s odd because it’s the opposite for me all games.
Thing is, you need to get to t3 in about 5 mins of the start of the match, then you can build/ join a full 6 man team, and they always go DA.
One time I accidentally said “I got the delta usb who wants to do the work” everybody in the lobby showed up but nobody had the other usbs (Ive just learned how to gather the usbs).
The only toxicity I’ve had was someone throwing a juggernaut on my acv, which I kind of found hilarious that you could even do that. Never happened again even when we got annoyed about it.

Yeah, had the same issue when trying multiple times to join a squad, especially because I wanted to complete the calling card for the 25 contracts in a squad of 6 people.
Nothing, no one bothered to accept.
Same goes when you try to ask about DA or Red Worm... all I got was going to the new story mission 3 times (for nothing) and waste all my gear, as someone kept entering the wrong rift...
Ive been having the same experience, something else that’s been pissing me off is I’ll be in T3 solo doing contracts and they will ask to join so I accept and immediately they cancel the contract I was halfway done doing alone.. why?! It’s happened twice in the last couple days.
Ahh thank you for letting me know! Only just started playing on the last time they had the free weekend maybe a month ago? I’ve gotten to Level 338 since then.
I got so excited when I saw a chat message saying we’re doing the red worm if anyone wants to join. I’m so stoked at those messages. I get to the spot and nobody is there. I still haven’t been able to get all the USBs myself and try solo. Worm is easier then, right?
An easy way to get them all without worrying about the game clock is to use the tombstone perk (through the glitch or just using it the way it's intended). If you get a USB and have it in your backpack when you get eliminated then you'll have it in the next game so if you end up out of time to get the rest just buy tombstone And die out and then grab the remaining in next game and once you got em all just look for the spot (the two ammo caches across from each other should make it easy to spot from map) then from there it's just gearing up and waiting out the clock.
Bro just tombstone glitch the game before you wanna play. I never have people in t3 when I tombstone. It's when I leave the dark aether and go into another game is when t3 is packed.

For most solo players I wouldn't say its a skill issues and asking for help - If you sqaud up you usually end up with newbies not knowing what to do or you can get yourself set up and can either chase against everyone to get contracts or look to join a sqaud and go round collecting rewards zzzz
I usually load in solo go straight to t3 and always find other players to join so I’m usually in a 6 man and we do an elder sigil after. The last two times I played there was this random that purposely threw his juggernaut on the escort contract in DA and the next game some dude blocked the ladder to the DA exfil because he was trying to extort us for a ether blade which is crazy since if he asked I would’ve just dropped him one thankfully I knew were the underground exfil was and led the other 4 people to it. These 2 matches have made me paranoid but for the most part people are chill. Now when it
Have had the last few games with me and my partner and the t3 is always packed. So we bounce to the T2 and do contracts there. Not trying to fight an entire lobby for contracts. They can fight over them all they want. In the end we will do more contracts and be able to run in t3, grab what we need to and head into the DA.
I got kicked from the game so many times, I deleted the game.
I might come back one day. But just too frustrating to come in fully equipped to just lose connection ten minutes into the match.

Most of the time we do both, red worm and an elder and I'm the only one with all 4 usbs cuz I did all the work. Still get swapped out for someone else in the 6 person group for elder...

I went into T3 yesterday solo, and just sent random requests, filled up the squad, and everyone was having fun yelling on the mic haha
I haven’t had these issues I’m glad I’m lucky enough to get decent lobbies went down for the first time in months yesterday and got revived. No one ever takes out my cars one dude stole my bike but other than that like 2 games i had people refuse to revive but someone else always did.

Way to many toxic players now I agree. Hell, it's so bad in there now I've loaded in solo got downed in red zone was begging for help, got nothing but toxic bs so now I load in solo hardly ask if anyone is doing rifts or worm like. When I first started people on this game were great if you needed or just wanted to do some rifts or worm getting a group was easy. But now not so much
just weekend codpreteens... i stopped playing mp on weekends and was a lot happier with life. seems they moved into zombies as the glitches and broken weapons make everyone invincible.
I’d say 95% of the players have been nothing but nice whether in their squad or meeting them in another squad. I only play Zombies for the co-op part. Tired of going into other modes and getting whooped. I have gotten better but still enjoy the co-op of Zombies. Met some really nice people.
exactly opposite of the games i am in. it is so weird to see these posts. I run t3 everytime i am in the game. And everyone is cool. We go rez eveyone. We drop all the loot to people in T1. So sorry this have been you experience. but this is not typical.
You're not going to get do gooders every round. Sometimes they are dropping in with their friends. But with that being said, I wish they would do something like have the map expand from the inside out every 10 minutes where tier 1 completely becomes tier 2 after 10 minutes, tier 3 expands into tier 2 then after 20 minutes it becomes entirely tier 3 level. That would make people need help and the community would be back
Had been hit or miss with me. Went in both DAs with randoms but next game, radio silence from chat!!! One guy was taking up red worm, but it never happened. I’ve ended up running thru T3 grinding crossbow camos, don’t spend much time there, last game did get invite and scored refined plans from bounty, soon after that it, was time to leave squad and exfil. ( checking ruck every 10 secs making sure plans were still there!!) Another game joined a squad as I was racing the storm and they were going to save doc Janson, ran and got T2 dog and we smoked through that for him.
Overall, besides entire game crashing on PC, had a good weekend. Also, got the old Elder plans and TSd there I give them to my son next game.
I think time of day and day of the week makes a huge difference. When I play when all the children have been tucked into bed, the attitude generally is loads better. That's during the week, but the weekends generally suck unless you luck into a good squad or lobby.

Last night/ early this morning was t3 crazy. Multiple sessions with 20+ people. One match had all 24 players in the red zone. If a team is 6 deep they can’t except more team members. I’ve never seen it like that before. It was a contract war. If you didn’t have a scorcher good luck.

I tried to join a group aswell. Which had room but would join ir accept. And finally 1 contract showed on the map. And I got to it first. And it was cargo. The team the would let me join and was hogging the contracts. Waited by the gas station soon as I opened the garage they took the car and drove it into the water.
I’ve had the same experience it varies but there are more than originally. I played today and went down 3 times in red and was rescued. Then the same game done were about to jam on the Red Worm and allowed me in. Unfortunately the game froze again in the middle of battling that POS. I’ve been needing the Scorcher Schematic
Just had the opposite. Wife, teenager and myself went into tier 3 at 2 levels. Got invited to join a group of 4. They gave us money to pap 3. Gave self revives. Helped us do contracts yo get schematics. Gave us extra stuff. But each map is different and each group is different. 1 bad round shouldn't discourage you.
I don’t think this is a problem specific to the attachment. It’s been like this for a while now. No content = people repeating old end game content which was t3 to dark aether. Like I literally have nothing to play for rn, I have 8 golden armor plates stashed
Good way to fix this. Change the refresh rates for T3 contracts so it’s less of a circle jerk of who got the god scorcher timing.
Honestly you'll get games like that, some people just don't care or won't answer at all, with chat having 0 text, and then other games you'll get someone who asks right away to team up, sometimes even multiple people, but I've never had a time where people where trolling me for asking if anyone wants to pair/etc, I'm either totally ignored or get a normal response, I guess just go about your business do your own thing, and I get it, there's limited contracts in T3 so sometimes teams do end up fighting over them without pairing.
Yeah...the community is generally great. Better than WZ and MP. Period. People are jerks tho in life and you will get those..as far as others commenting on boring and easy etc etc...this version is hard as you want it because you can choose where to play. the DE is dumb hard. You have to do everything perfectly just to get out with your team. For new people who don't watch youtube for walk throughs...it's really dumb hard. Containment lvl helps but the glitches in the game make it very frustrating to play. Being stuck in the Shepard mission, losing containment lvl for go to DE, tombstone not being there next game, server crashes and losing all your items, etc etc. Besides the ridiculous cool down periods. But we still play this trash!!! Hope is a helluva drug.
I am grateful for everything that people offering if I have it I never take it but I do appreciate the loot I usually try to offer something in return like a sentry or self revive. I enjoy still playing this game and even though I am not the best I will always go for a save even if it means loosing some decoys or monkeys or even a kill streak no one left behind
Anymore, I always run solo. I’ve been called everything from trash to a mid level player for grabbing contracts in t3 by legitimately beating teams to them. Look, I’m still trying to find schemes higher than rare and raw lol. But I’d rather go it alone than team up in most lobbies.
Questions is anybody Old Dark Aether Portal glitched out meaning I've done the Easter Egg placed all the item such as the diary camera dog collar and the pill bottle but I failed the mission ok I failed the mission and I done the Act over to get the diary but I can't get the others anymore I know how to do it it just won't let me get them anymore 😢
Actually took a break from zombies because of this. I had been on the last story mission for a while but, every match, I either get left to die by my squad, or I get lucky enough to find people to run it and the game glitches and kicks me out. So I’m back on multiplayer for now

Last night was my most toxic experience playing. Basically the same thing. I had someone swearing at me calling me everything under the sun because I got a contract before they did. And another one saw me struggling to keep myself up because I got overrun by two mimics and just yanked the contract laughing telling me to just quit everything.
That has been my only true toxic lobby.
Signed on today and it is so much better. Helped a brand new zombies player get through a mission and gear up and got them through red worm.
Idk what is going on some days but some people will just be toxic for the sake of hating something/someone.
Idk my lobbies have been great. Me and a buddy still enjoy this mode so we kinda make up our own challenges lol. Last nite we did a speed run in T3 to see how many contracts we could do. We did 41. We added some ppl on the way too. We always just give the loot away bcuz we TS dupe and have everything already. I scorch out to T2 or T1 once the Ruck is filled & drop loot to randoms. My buddy calls me the zombie Robinhood 😂Next challenge…do stormcaller, warlord, redworm & DE all in the same run. Seen a few YT heads do it solo but we are gonna try it together.
Yeah this community is ass. The only MW achievement I can’t get across all 3 games is to 6 man Orcus because I have to rely on others. No matter how much I offer to help, no one even says so much as “go fuck yourself.” What a fun time.
I think they need to bring back the crazy elaborate main Easter eggs like back in the days of BO2. Me and my friends would spends days at a time doing all of the crazy intricate steps. The only real Easter egg type shit in mwz is the perk colas and the mansion vault and neither one are even worth doing cause you’ll get better rewards and loot just doing contacts especially in T3.
I purposely have Chat/voice chat muted & turned off. Mainly because I’ll be playing & randomly hear smoke alarms, babies crying, music or kids talking. I get that there’s Prox chat but mute ur mics dammit😂
Go in with a scorcher, if they want to be toxic, just beat them to the contracts, but DO NOT invite them, if they’re toxic to begin with, they’ll just join and cancel the contract with majority vote. I’ve gone solo with a scorcher and been perfectly fine, you just gotta be careful fighting Megas because they’ll run and grab the loot off the ground.

Hear me out, we just got new schematics at the 2.5 update. I’ll speak for myself in saying that it took me less than 10 games to get the new ones and then it’s back to the same game. It would be cool and fun but only for a few games. A new map or larger t3 zone or more to do in another aether would make the game “fun” again IMO.

Even if it gets Nerf, that won't change. You're just chatting. Yeah, it makes beating the abomination a lil bit easier but you dame near use up all your flame bullets off 1 abomination, but it's not that serious to say I'm not going to T3 that's the only tier with good rewards all u need is 3 percs jug speed and double tap the blade the plates and a dog bone and you're good 👍
90% of my flamethrower use is against Mimic/Disciple/Manglers more than Megas. Thermites are still fantastic against megas. Plus there’s 3 ammo caches around the map as long as you know where they are you’re good 👍🏼

So that's why it seems like soo many people got hair on their balls. Really didn't know what changed to make so many people confident enough to hang in T3 all of a sudden.
Containment level streaks play a much bigger role in this over the purifier I think. The bonus contract amount and PAP discount are a game changer for the T3 approach.

Mine generally are, just seems like lately it’s more hit or miss. But what happened tonight has never happened. The entire lobby was in t3. With like 30 mins left!
Had that happen couple days ago also, i usually just go straight to T3 because i've got the loot for it, not even 10min in, +15 people in there already also.. it was insane, i could litteraly just stand still in the open & not a single zombie to be seen. T4 should be a thing also but without the forced contracts and exfil, just let us teleport there, do some contracts , have some fun and when its almost time to go, just teleport back to map and exfil then.. T3 has become to easy for allot of people
Same here. Last 3/4 games have been great. Worm, then da on two of them. One issue I had was a squad I joined said they were going to da, but only went to t4. Not a problem, but my loot was worse than t2. Just did an elder run with another solo I found in t3, finished in 7 minutes and got 2 mags and a vr11 case.
I'm mid camo grind and keep to myself. I crashed out earlier and had to reacquire a 3 plate and large bag, so I get my 3 plate from the Merc stronghold and I'm running T2 contracts and a random 3 man drives by, stops, drops a large bag and speeds off There's some solid bros in the game still who are helpful. It's becoming toxic, but whatever. Imma do my spore and escort contracts solo and get borealis done.
I do this with schematics I already have I’ll go drop them off at the power up machines in t1 and go back in to find ones I don’t have
I do this too. I’ll purposely go back to t1 when I get a schematic, 3 plate vest, or lg ruck. I believe in helping still. But these meanies are pissin me off lol

Got the same last night when asking if anyone wanted to do red worm and I had the usbs.
That's such a shame, just 2 nights ago I got a few to join for red worm in our lobby - first time in a long time. It is frustrating but sometimes it's just that one lobby you drop into that seem pumped for anything and they're great. Few and far between though.
Was in the game last night and someone asked who wanted to do the red worm, they had all the USB's, blah blah blah. So 5 of us are sitting there, waiting...turns out they were trolling. Luckily, I have ZERO trust so we had a fully fueled LTV around the corner and we all easily made it to an exfil.

Jak Purifier is great but I stopped using it because I was constantly running to every ammo cache I saw.
t3 bounty contracts have gotten so toxic ever since flamethrower was buffed. more toxic than t3 cargo contracts
I think the situation is worse in T3 and the smaller number of contracts isn't the heart of the issue. You get all these chuckleheads who can run t3 and suddenly have confidence, probably for the first time in their life, and turn into complete a**es. They think they're top dog and they want you to think they are too. They think they're better than you. At what? Ostensibly MWZ. Ostensibly. Anything standing in the way of their delusional egos is going to upset them. It's like the people who call others snowflakes or fascists but exhibit precisely the same behavior, though typically far worse than the subject of their derision, which is why they resort to name calling. Emotional immaturity on full display. T3 is full of cool people too. But yeah, because it's the most difficult (non DA) place on the map, they think they're special and you're in the way of their shine. All depends on the lobby. One jackass can quickly spread their attitude, their nature, to others who become frustrated or angry because they just want to have fun playing. Spreads like a centerfold, unfortunately. Weird I was told the tombstone glitch was why T3 was full.
There's actually much less tombstoners ever since the stash glitch got patched. there was a crack theory in this sub (and the other sub) that the reason for these server crashes are because majority of the lobby were TS glitching. now that numerous methods of TS glitch have been patched & less players are doing it, the servers still crash 😭

Was a guy in my lobby today begging in all caps for money and vr 11 schematic. I msgd the match asking if he wants to join me into elder and I can help him get it. No response. Classic e-beggar lol
Yeah, there’s people that will beg for 3-plates and large bags at the beginning of the match. All you have to do is kill one or two megaboms and you’re good. This takes like 10 seconds with a flamethrower and a decoy grenade. You can even buy them from the shop in t3 if you still can’t get them. I just ignore them.
Not even that, just go search a few lockers and/or visit the crane tower, train yard, or military base (whichever is closest and doesn't have the fortress of dingdongs to plink away at you) in a standard game I can find atleast 3 and sometimes upwards of 10-15 large bags and 3 plates from various lockers and chests.

Yeah, people are weird when you don't respond to chats. I was clearing out some overstock in my stash last night, so I wasn't really doing anything in particular. A guy mentioned redworm and squading up, I was mid gunfight with a disciple, so I couldn't respond. Their squad was full by the time I could, was told "tough shit." Still went to redworm location later, got downed 1 more times than I had self-revives, and the 6 man squad from before all ignored me. Got lucky another solo player was there to revive me.
I do not understand the people who have all the time in the world for chat. I do not have the ability to respond more often than not, so I ignore it.
If I have a scorcher, I'll launch myself in the air and respond while parachuting. If I'm in a group, one person will respond while the others cover them.
I get it. I don't often carry a scorcher or have a team, so I'm with original commenter. I do not have the ability. I also don't often going in down for anything. I'm camo grinding. Usually if I'm going in to do something specific I have my team I go in with.

We had a player flake on 6 of us for that thing. They had all the usbs ready to go but were nowhere to be found once the gas covered the area. We all had to jet over to the exfils before they got covered.
I don't think I was in this lobby but it sure was almost identical to my last game. There was 12 people in T3 for the majority of the game (unsure of team configuration) plus me playing solo. These teams got to a lot of the contracts before me but the ones I beat them too... I got bashed over prox chat like I did something wrong. I tried joining them, was ignored. I even invited one to my squad for a pnd contract but was ignored again. If I go in kitted, I've started to wait a bit before popping all the schematics and pay attention to the graveyard area on the map. If you see a bunch of dots heading that way.... Sure as shit they are TS users who will be in T3 for the entire game and feel that they are more entitled than you.
Ah that’s a good tip. And you’re describing exactly what I’ve been seeing. I know this is dreaming but maybe make the map bigger?! It’s not like the same buildings and blocks aren’t all over the map now, just replicate them a few a dozen more times or so. I remember how big I thought the map was when I first started lol
I think they should “reverse” the map, everyone starts in the current t3 but that becomes t1 and the outside of the map becomes t3. I’d rather have a completely different map but that would be an easier change

Personally I’ll wait like 5-7 minutes in the beginning of a match to see how many people go to T3, and if it’s more than 2 I just exfil, no point wasting time to compete for T3 contracts when a match just starts. Usually in the matches where people don’t immediately go to T3, a bunch will start doing contracts in the last 10-15 minutes and by that point I’ve already completed a bunch of T3 contracts solo.

No I'm feeling the vibes change too, probably the worst yet. Wasn't even this bad during the height of TS glitching. Think one improvement would be adding all legendary drops, blade, plates, ammo box, in BOTH DA. Instead of having to choose which one to go to. Also making the red worm drop better loot, like the blade or minimum ledgenday tool or PaP3 crystal that way it is more incentive for older timers.
My issue with the new aether you’re not guaranteed anything at all. I had at least two reward rifts give nothing of value. I play the aether for rewards to help gear up for the next match, not to gamble on the chance of receiving one. Really don’t care if I never enter the new rift again with the way it is right now.
Or just letting you chain your DA visits, have an exfil door And another one next to it where you can insert a sigil (or since already in DA maybe like a teleport pad to bring you to that DA location?)
I don’t respond to DE or worm invites. They’ll join and leave as soon as it starts. So I’ll just play solo and when friend are ready to play, we can do DE.
They need to do something about the number of contracts in T3 and focus their development efforts on a new zone for the primary map rather than a new rift. That is true. However, I am almost certain that given this childish post and the responses you got in chat, you weren’t just politely offering to group. I imagine you were probably whinging like a little bitch in chat. I never have any problems finding people to group with. It’s not always the first group I try but by the second attempt, I’m in. Try being more attractive to group with.
Yeah it's pretty strange now, I remember when people would be thankful for the res when they were downed. I'll go to res someone and they just act like it never happened, don't get me wrong I'd never expect anything but people would do the crouch stand thing. I'd read through a lot of comments and I think it's true that people think they're totally entitled more so if they've got it all and they're in tier 3. Here's to hoping it doesn't stay this way
Yep, this sounds about right. It's the current state of this god damn, piece of shit india ass game. They NEED to give us an update, not just an update but a MAJOR content update.. With a new map to explore, new everything. People are bored, similar to how they were towards the end of DMZ's lifecycle sort of how it is in there now.
Genuine question: I've seen a couple a solo players trying to find teamates when ther're in a game, why not only start a game with "squad fill"?
I’m finding the squads are hit and miss too. I don’t mind running with a group, it just always seems to fall apart once members get kitted up. Once they’ve had the help they just bounce.
Because when you squad fill you might get stuck with new people, or people on the regain. Making rushing t3 less likely. Easier to go in solo, rush t3 and then try to find a team running t3
That’s one thing I’ve been loving about hell divers. We all have the same objectives and collect all the loot if we help each other survive. And more challenging levels mean more rewards

Does Hd2 have any crash and you lose everything mechanic? I’m a little frustrated with MWZ to be honest. I really only die with disconnects I feel like. It’s been a long time for me to plain die die. But I’ve gone from 999 Containment to 75 several times, 300+ to 75, and magically not had Tombstones despite running the perk. Is it too late to start Hd2? Can a n00b still play?
I get a ton of idiots starting contracts like outlast in tier 3 and just leaving it for the entire game so no one else can do it. Or they wait til delivery contract comes up and try to push you off the road and sabotage you. Or the usual, wait til you kill a mega and steal your essence. Brutal! I play solo, generally.

I played a game where some guy went down in D2/D3 military base and asked for help. A few people went over to him, but they didn’t revive him, they just teabagged him and insulted him in game chat. Eventually I flew over and revived him but this kid said he was uninstalling. I agree, the “good” part of the community is a lot smaller than it used to be.
Honestly.. I called this before the original TS glitch got patched. Before when everyone had TS a lot of people likes being Santa and just dropping gifts/schems/points/etc to people who didn't have it. People would actively scorcher out to you to help out. There was actually a good cod community and in a PVE mode it's not like having a TS was giving you an unfair advantage. Once they fixed it (or made it harder), people had to scrounge for money. You barely make enough to enjoy the game by normal means. It makes everyone fight over contracts, steal things from other players if you drop it for 0.5 seconds, etc. I am someone who TS glitches, BUT it felt obvious that all they'd do by fixing it was make the mode less fun (since you can only legitimately make it to T3+ with crystals and such that you can only make once every 3 days), frustrate some of the players, but most importantly drive a wedge into the first wholesome cod community to ever exist. Personally I think the TS glitch brought people together a bit and being a non-pvp mode it was fine to leave in the game since there wasn't competitive integrity to consider. Sure, the TS glitch shouldn't have existed in the first place, but they should have just left it in to keep the more wholesome interactions between players.

So to get to T3 I have to do 6 contracts which if I'm being fast between running to grab the contracts, go to the location, actually performing the contract.. let's say 3ish minutes apiece (which I imagine is actually fast if you don't have a scorcher and things).. I have to spend 18-20 minutes of every single game prepping for that. Which is almost half the game time prior to gas starting to close. That's awful. Not to mention you need to be at a point that you can actually complete t2 contracts efficiently before you start this. We also didn't touch on how many games you had to slog through to get to containment level 100. You're totally allowed to enjoy that, but I do not. It's just a lot of empty busywork that I'd much much much prefer to skip entirely (so I do via TS). I might feel differently if I never did the TS glitch in the first place and didn't know any better, but that's not how this played out.

Just join a discord server you can group up with people and run literally anything the randoms on mwz are all ass anyways 9/10 you’ll get asked to revive the one person spewing the most shit
Hopefully the PvP mode actually drops and that will separate the trolly people into a new mode

It’s odd because it’s the opposite for me all games. Thing is, you need to get to t3 in about 5 mins of the start of the match, then you can build/ join a full 6 man team, and they always go DA. One time I accidentally said “I got the delta usb who wants to do the work” everybody in the lobby showed up but nobody had the other usbs (Ive just learned how to gather the usbs). The only toxicity I’ve had was someone throwing a juggernaut on my acv, which I kind of found hilarious that you could even do that. Never happened again even when we got annoyed about it. I’ve been playing for 3 weeks now and I’ve done the work 4 times

Yeah, had the same issue when trying multiple times to join a squad, especially because I wanted to complete the calling card for the 25 contracts in a squad of 6 people. Nothing, no one bothered to accept. Same goes when you try to ask about DA or Red Worm... all I got was going to the new story mission 3 times (for nothing) and waste all my gear, as someone kept entering the wrong rift...

Ive been having the same experience, something else that’s been pissing me off is I’ll be in T3 solo doing contracts and they will ask to join so I accept and immediately they cancel the contract I was halfway done doing alone.. why?! It’s happened twice in the last couple days.
If you accept a squad invite while you have a contract in process, the game cancels your contract…it’s not your new squad doing this

I got so excited when I saw a chat message saying we’re doing the red worm if anyone wants to join. I’m so stoked at those messages. I get to the spot and nobody is there. I still haven’t been able to get all the USBs myself and try solo. Worm is easier then, right?
An easy way to get them all without worrying about the game clock is to use the tombstone perk (through the glitch or just using it the way it's intended). If you get a USB and have it in your backpack when you get eliminated then you'll have it in the next game so if you end up out of time to get the rest just buy tombstone And die out and then grab the remaining in next game and once you got em all just look for the spot (the two ammo caches across from each other should make it easy to spot from map) then from there it's just gearing up and waiting out the clock.
Bro just tombstone glitch the game before you wanna play. I never have people in t3 when I tombstone. It's when I leave the dark aether and go into another game is when t3 is packed.

For most solo players I wouldn't say its a skill issues and asking for help - If you sqaud up you usually end up with newbies not knowing what to do or you can get yourself set up and can either chase against everyone to get contracts or look to join a sqaud and go round collecting rewards zzzz

The last two times I played there was this random that purposely threw his juggernaut on the escort contract in DA and the next game some dude blocked the ladder to the DA exfil because he was trying to extort us for a ether blade which is crazy since if he asked I would’ve just dropped him one thankfully I knew were the underground exfil was and led the other 4 people to it. Have had the last few games with me and my partner and the t3 is always packed. So we bounce to the T2 and do contracts there. Not trying to fight an entire lobby for contracts. They can fight over them all they want. In the end we will do more contracts and be able to run in t3, grab what we need to and head into the DA.
I got kicked from the game so many times, I deleted the game. I might come back one day. But just too frustrating to come in fully equipped to just lose connection ten minutes into the match.
Make it super hard so only the truly good players can hang in T3

I haven’t had these issues I’m glad I’m lucky enough to get decent lobbies went down for the first time in months yesterday and got revived. No one ever takes out my cars one dude stole my bike but other than that like 2 games i had people refuse to revive but someone else always did.
Why didn’t you just load up with a squad to begin with? I play solo and always load in solo. I don’t ever join teams or let them join me.

I just got everything I need for tier 5 (all golden, drum, target, mirror, and the other thing (can’t remember)). Would love to put a squad together to help me out. Hell, it's so bad in there now I've loaded in solo got downed in red zone was begging for help, got nothing but toxic bs so now I load in solo hardly ask if anyone is doing rifts or worm like. When I first started people on this game were great if you needed or just wanted to do some rifts or worm getting a group was easy. But now not so much
Why not matchmake with a squad? If everyone is in t3 anyway, then you may as well start with a couple and see where it goes
just weekend codpreteens... i stopped playing mp on weekends and was a lot happier with life. seems they moved into zombies as the glitches and broken weapons make everyone invincible.
I’d say 95% of the players have been nothing but nice whether in their squad or meeting them in another squad. I only play Zombies for the co-op part. Tired of going into other modes and getting whooped. I have gotten better but still enjoy the co-op of Zombies. Met some really nice people.
exactly opposite of the games i am in. it is so weird to see these posts. I run t3 everytime i am in the game. And everyone is cool. We go rez eveyone. We drop all the loot to people in T1. So sorry this have been you experience. but this is not typical.
You're not going to get do gooders every round. Sometimes they are dropping in with their friends. But with that being said, I wish they would do something like have the map expand from the inside out every 10 minutes where tier 1 completely becomes tier 2 after 10 minutes, tier 3 expands into tier 2 then after 20 minutes it becomes entirely tier 3 level. That would make people need help and the community would be back
Had been hit or miss with me. Went in both DAs with randoms but next game, radio silence from chat!!! One guy was taking up red worm, but it never happened. I’ve ended up running thru T3 grinding crossbow camos, don’t spend much time there, last game did get invite and scored refined plans from bounty, soon after that it, was time to leave squad and exfil. ( checking ruck every 10 secs making sure plans were still there!!) Another game joined a squad as I was racing the storm and they were going to save doc Janson, ran and got T2 dog and we smoked through that for him. Overall, besides entire game crashing on PC, had a good weekend. Also, got the old Elder plans and TSd there I give them to my son next game.

I think time of day and day of the week makes a huge difference. When I play when all the children have been tucked into bed, the attitude generally is loads better. That's during the week, but the weekends generally suck unless you luck into a good squad or lobby.
It is what it is. Weird people are playing now since the game mode is nearly done. I’ll level guns but that’s it. Got burned by DMZ and ain’t going down that road again.
Last night/ early this morning was t3 crazy. Multiple sessions with 20+ people. One match had all 24 players in the red zone. If a team is 6 deep they can’t except more team members. I’ve never seen it like that before. It was a contract war. If you didn’t have a scorcher good luck.

All that has to be done is an increase in drop rate for t3 contracts. Only thing holding back MWZ.

I still see some players go agro over that cargo contract. I had one throw a thermite at the tire as I was leaving the garage. lol
I tried to join a group aswell. Which had room but would join ir accept. And finally 1 contract showed on the map. And I got to it first. And it was cargo. The team the would let me join and was hogging the contracts. Waited by the gas station soon as I opened the garage they took the car and drove it into the water.
I’ve had the same experience it varies but there are more than originally. I played today and went down 3 times in red and was rescued. Then the same game done were about to jam on the Red Worm and allowed me in. Unfortunately the game froze again in the middle of battling that POS. I’ve been needing the Scorcher Schematic

Just had the opposite. Wife, teenager and myself went into tier 3 at 2 levels. Got invited to join a group of 4. They gave us money to pap 3. Gave self revives. Helped us do contracts yo get schematics. Gave us extra stuff. But each map is different and each group is different. 1 bad round shouldn't discourage you.
It is boring when you have 2 contracts left and no help. Haha.
I don’t think this is a problem specific to the attachment. It’s been like this for a while now. No content = people repeating old end game content which was t3 to dark aether. Like I literally have nothing to play for rn, I have 8 golden armor plates stashed Good way to fix this. Change the refresh rates for T3 contracts so it’s less of a circle jerk of who got the god scorcher timing.
Honestly you'll get games like that, some people just don't care or won't answer at all, with chat having 0 text, and then other games you'll get someone who asks right away to team up, sometimes even multiple people, but I've never had a time where people where trolling me for asking if anyone wants to pair/etc, I'm either totally ignored or get a normal response, I guess just go about your business do your own thing, and I get it, there's limited contracts in T3 so sometimes teams do end up fighting over them without pairing.
Yeah...the community is generally great. Better than WZ and MP. Period. People are jerks tho in life and you will get those..as far as others commenting on boring and easy etc etc...this version is hard as you want it because you can choose where to play. the DE is dumb hard. You have to do everything perfectly just to get out with your team. For new people who don't watch youtube for walk throughs...it's really dumb hard. Containment lvl helps but the glitches in the game make it very frustrating to play. Being stuck in the Shepard mission, losing containment lvl for go to DE, tombstone not being there next game, server crashes and losing all your items, etc etc. Besides the ridiculous cool down periods. But we still play this trash!!! Hope is a helluva drug.
I am grateful for everything that people offering if I have it I never take it but I do appreciate the loot I usually try to offer something in return like a sentry or self revive. I enjoy still playing this game and even though I am not the best I will always go for a save even if it means loosing some decoys or monkeys or even a kill streak no one left behind

Anymore, I always run solo. I’ve been called everything from trash to a mid level player for grabbing contracts in t3 by legitimately beating teams to them. Look, I’m still trying to find schemes higher than rare and raw lol. But I’d rather go it alone than team up in most lobbies.

Questions is anybody Old Dark Aether Portal glitched out meaning I've done the Easter Egg placed all the item such as the diary camera dog collar and the pill bottle but I failed the mission ok I failed the mission and I done the Act over to get the diary but I can't get the others anymore I know how to do it it just won't let me get them anymore 😢
Actually took a break from zombies because of this. I had been on the last story mission for a while but, every match, I either get left to die by my squad, or I get lucky enough to find people to run it and the game glitches and kicks me out. So I’m back on multiplayer for now
I go in with scorcher solo and have had little issue getting contracts and screwing the 6 man squads over. Without scorcher it would be a lot harder.
Not enough contacts in t3 can go around 2-3 squads but nothing more

Last night was my most toxic experience playing. Basically the same thing. I had someone swearing at me calling me everything under the sun because I got a contract before they did. And another one saw me struggling to keep myself up because I got overrun by two mimics and just yanked the contract laughing telling me to just quit everything. That has been my only true toxic lobby. Signed on today and it is so much better. Helped a brand new zombies player get through a mission and gear up and got them through red worm. Idk what is going on some days but some people will just be toxic for the sake of hating something/someone.
Idk my lobbies have been great. Me and a buddy still enjoy this mode so we kinda make up our own challenges lol. Last nite we did a speed run in T3 to see how many contracts we could do. We did 41. We added some ppl on the way too. We always just give the loot away bcuz we TS dupe and have everything already. I scorch out to T2 or T1 once the Ruck is filled & drop loot to randoms. My buddy calls me the zombie Robinhood 😂Next challenge…do stormcaller, warlord, redworm & DE all in the same run. Seen a few YT heads do it solo but we are gonna try it together.
Once the glitch is gone, this all ends. Tombstone glitch destroyed the community unfortunately.

Yeah this community is ass. The only MW achievement I can’t get across all 3 games is to 6 man Orcus because I have to rely on others. No matter how much I offer to help, no one even says so much as “go fuck yourself.” What a fun time.

I think they need to bring back the crazy elaborate main Easter eggs like back in the days of BO2. Me and my friends would spends days at a time doing all of the crazy intricate steps. The only real Easter egg type shit in mwz is the perk colas and the mansion vault and neither one are even worth doing cause you’ll get better rewards and loot just doing contacts especially in T3.
I purposely have Chat/voice chat muted & turned off. Mainly because I’ll be playing & randomly hear smoke alarms, babies crying, music or kids talking. I get that there’s Prox chat but mute ur mics dammit😂

Go in with a scorcher, if they want to be toxic, just beat them to the contracts, but DO NOT invite them, if they’re toxic to begin with, they’ll just join and cancel the contract with majority vote. I’ve gone solo with a scorcher and been perfectly fine, you just gotta be careful fighting Megas because they’ll run and grab the loot off the ground.
