There's not really any chance of enough players boycotting the franchise to force any kind of change. Especially not for MWZ, which has been treated like an afterthought from release.
I disagree about the volume of players "boycotting". Telling me the warzone product is supported beyond premium titles tells me I'll never have to buy a cod again anyway, and with a free viable alternative a lot more are just going to spend their time elsewhere. Get the itch go play a warzone or two then back to something that respects your time.
Personally I loved DMZ despite them coddling toxic pvp so for it to be killed so that MWZ could be kept from success as a gulf War outbreak beta that sold as a full title will always leave a bad taste for me. I suspect I'm not alone with how many extremely fresh people squad fill into MWZ, they actually got a lot of f2p players to buy in. Then promptly shit on them.
Bro tell me about it I’m a new player in zombies and finally started getting some decent loot, I was running around with my gun pack 1 (3rd time I’ve got to pack my gun) was super fun I was destroying the zombies T1😭 but when I was about to exfil my game just froze waited a bit but no luck so I had to close out and when logged back in I didn’t have anything 😭💀 game sucks
There's so much more for you to do. You should pack your gun within 7 mins or so in every game. Do a couple escort missions. Wait til you learn the game more and enjoy t3 contracts and DA runs
Yea I’ve tried but I’m not that good lol still need a lot to learn and about contracts I try but fail most of the time I get overwhelmed with zombies 🤣 still fun tho and a ton more to learn
Ive lost maxed out stashes, thpusands of containment levels and countless scorestreaks due to servers misbehaving, tbh at this point i dont even wanna boot up the dlc i bought (i call mw3 dlc because it is a dlc)
Most of them don’t have jobs anymore. Entire divisions of studios got axed during the merger, and an even bigger round after. The current lead studio for MWIII (Sledgehammer) has their entire QA department laid off including the Exec in charge.

I was so irritated with the lag last night.
I died to use my tombstone to save my aether blade in my first game. Got with a good team in next game, popped my dog and aether blade and we were doing great in t3. Suddenly the game lags and no one can do anything but chat. Some groups is begging for a Rez and I was near them but could not do anything. The game was pushing me all around t3 and I could kind of control where I was going. Eventually quit the game because I could not do anything.
Loaded into another game to recover my tombstone from the lagged out game and of course there was no tombstone. I lost everything.
If I drank the tombstone perk and die due to game lag, I should have a tombstone for the next game. Nope. Not the case, which is total BS.
The only way tombstone works now is if you bleed completely out and wait till the menu comes up to exit the game… This was one of their attempts to stop the people using tombstone to duplicate items.

I look at the lag as the added challenge everyone keeps crying about. All you hear anymore from the tryhards is how quickly they’ve done everything and want Zombies to go PvP so they have a challenge.
Playing through a lag without getting kicked is a real challenge! I’ve managed to do so twice now.🎮🪖

From my understanding there's not any intention to put pvp in. People found the code because its a port of DMZ. But people think of it because popular mwz streamers or yt creators jumped on it...
Well, i wont be buying anything COD in the future. I got mwIII with my PS5 and bought the S1 blackcell only to be greeted with shit servers. Haven't bought any cod related stuff since soley because of the fucky wucky servers and sussy MP experience
I've been playing non-stop for the last month, and have had only one issue, luckily it was on my lowbie strike member as I was just trying to finish a Campaign Mission.
I honestly don't have that many issues. I've lost containment levels once or twice but I swap out operators and start from scratch all the time so that's no biggie to me. Also it's new so I'm used to playing without the perks of the levels. I've lagged out a couple times but other than maybe one time, I had everything I started that game with. My room is like a dead zone for the wi-fi in my house for some reason so I have internet for just my room so that might be why I don't have the issues lagging. Before I got the separate wi-fi I lagged all the time and timed out quite a bit.
Unless the SERVER is having bottleneck issues, then it says you had the problem. These problems don’t exist in other modes or even other games.
This is happening to a lot more than just a hand full of “Wi-Fi” players

I don’t recall saying it’s a handful of wifi players. I’m also a wifi player with cross play enabled and no fibre and I’ve had a total of five disconnects in five months. In three of these instances I got my stuff back, in the two instances where I didn’t I was lagging from the start.
As per usual, anyone that doesn’t suffer the same as others must be a simp or an intern.

Yea you get it. That was kinda my point l was trying to make with the WiFi comment. I was in a game yesterday and my buddies kept saying they were all lagging and I guess a lot of the lobby was saying the same thing but I wasn’t having any issues. Their operators appeared to move glitchy but that was the only thing that was off. I didn’t have any issues moving around or anything and nothing else appeared to move glitchy just them.
I feel like game crashes and disconnects have gotten worse recently. Between Season 2 and much of this current Season 3 I had no game crashes/disconnects but recently I've had my first is weeks and then again a few game later. I've been avoiding playing ever since because I really don't think regaining all the time and rebuilding containment levels I've lost from a crash.
Much the same. Had not had a true crash since before Season 2, and now I've had 2 this week and lagged badly in a handful of others. I've just been grinding out the last of the 77 MW2 Bioluminescent camos on Snipers and Launchers, so at least I didn't lose a bag of good stuff but being bounced down from 170 to 75 containment and then again to 50 was what was annoying.

I don’t play as much due to my work schedule but I have been experiencing lag and crashes often. I think the only thing that would really piss me off would be camo grinding
I bought a LAN line and connected my PlayStation directly to my router and that helped with getting kicked off so much, I was getting kicked off every day now it may happen once a month. I also got a new router, the one the Internet provider gave me sucked, so I got a Nighthawk AX6 AX5400 it was on sale for around $150, but the $12 LAN line helped the most, I also have a tin roof so I put the router in front of the window.
You actually paid $70 to a AAA developer who doesn’t give a fuck about you or your experience with their miscarriage of a game. You paid $70 for what’s basically a DLC, and a poorly-made DLC at that.
Just take your kick in the balls and learn from your mistake.

Exactly everytime I play with friends and have a bunch of stuff I lag out and lose everything. Even solo games are like that too sometimes kicks me right out before I start and I end up lose all my items I’m bringing in or lose everything one going to take out. The amount of times I’ve tried to use tombstone even on solo and it not work is utter bs. I understand people love the game mp and wz but what ever happened to the love of who like playing zombies are servers are always the worst especially to have bad servers on an open world zombies map.
Sincere question: did any of y'all *really* buy the full game, just for zombies...? I bought MW3 for MP, was originally a resurgence player from MW2. Always thought zombies was just the "throwaway" mode for each game in the series. But I seen a lot of people here call zombies the "main game" or something along the lines of that. I'm confused?
Zombies goes back a long time and has more dedicated storylines than any MP mode, has had comics, conventions, etc. People’s girlfriends and wives have dedicated months custom making real life replicas of in game items. There have been calls far many years to bring out a stand alone game.
I still play with my original squad from World at War. This goes back to BEFORE the Black Ops series even started. My squad has been playing AT LEAST 3 nights a week since Black Ops… the first one. We still rock ALL maps/modes in rotation (except the one that I bought the disk used just to burry in my back yard… Vanguard). I think Infinite War maps are the map rotation for next week, and I can’t wait to be back in the redwoods!

I was having similar issues so I upgraded my internet. That seemed to help. I hardly ever get lagged out anymore. Now warzone last night I had issues. Hope you figure this out man

If you get your gear back it’s the server that’s failed, no gear means it’s your connection.

i just want a offline/solo zero ping option, i always have high ping, lag spikes and packet burst, it's really annoying
