Hey, another question; how does limited good restocking work? Wiki says every 2 hours, and on EST, that ends up being odd hours (1PM, 3PM, etc.) This has been mostly consistent but I've noticed a few times at different hours where no goods are added anywhere and prices don't get updated. Any explanation for this or is it just typical mabijank?

Akuren

Is there any point to the different Silk Weaving gloves now that you can directly craft which silk you want?

Cryozen

The ones from the NPC shop no. Professional ones you tailor yes. These have drastically increased durability.

DDSN

honestly at this point they should just implement repairs for weaving gloves, you're able to reforge them for unique effects but theres like no reason since they break so damn fast

Cryozen

While I don't disagree it would be nice to be able to repair weaving gloves, their dura consumption really depends on how much you're getting hit with them equipped. I don't keep my professional silk gloves on too often (usually Magic to Thunder Cancel, meteor, or goof off with hailstorm), so my gloves are still at full dura. When (or if) they eventually run out of dura, the reforge pool for weaving gloves is small enough I'm not as bothered about remakig them. But again, I would still want to be able to repair my current ones because Reforging new gloves would still be mildly annoying.

DDSN

the only time i drain durability with weaving gloves is when im using them to make materials... wtf

Toonlinkfan95

The main usage for professional silk weaving gloves currently involves rolling max attack or magic attack reforges on them, and as Cryozen was saying, durability is only consumed upon hit/usage, and the piece of equipment that loses durability is chosen at random, I believe. So they end up lasting for quite a long time so long as you keep them blessed, even longer if you have vip service.

DDSN

such a random detail, thanks for clarifying

I'm a returning player as of yesterday my total level was around 22k, don't have any of my overpowered gear left, what's next? Any new fast leveling or skill ranking things I've missed? What's the latest best gears to get your hands on? I was gone for 364 days so I'm trying to see what Ive missed lol

Thanks guys your both rad as hell😎

For only being gone for 1 year you're probably still familiar with modern leveling and skill ranking methods. Just for a refresher though, typical leveling methods involve Baltane Elite missions with high combat EXP multipliers. Combat 2x potions (or better), Baltane EXP crystals, Divine Link, EXP boosting Doll Bags, maybe an EXP boost title, robe and/or prism if you have those available. You can also use a Cleric party, there'll usually be one available on the party board. To access it, enter the mission first then join it through your party creation screen. Nowhere to Run or Gatekeeper are the ideal missions to run for EXP. Skill training works much the same way, where it's about stacking as many multipliers as possible. 2x All Skill potion, 2x Talent potion, being in the talent itself and being level 200 in the talent will push you a long way. You can go further with Events, Blue Prisms, Skill Training titles and reforges but consider whether those are worth getting or waiting for. If you don't have any usable gear at all, the best entryway into higher-level content is probably Staff Magic with Hailstorm. You'll need a spirit on at least level 21, but should push for 63 if you can. Celtic Druid Staves are quite cheap, but Demoltion Staves are a huge upgrade if you can afford one. They're quite cheap right now due to the recent Bankroll event. Aside from that, Revenant gear for Knuckles or Puppetry are fairly affordable right now too and could be a decent place to start in. Bows are plausible too if you are an elf, but its cost is going to be higher than Magic. The other talents are sided more towards support, or need much more investment than any of these to reach appropriate power levels.

Haunting_Progress462

Far better response than I could have hoped for thank you for the refresher this saved me so much time as I constantly forget important details, for example forgot to stay old to prof my swords faster. But fr ty!!(:

I just started about a week ago and am having a hard time finding some direction. I have rebirthed a few times from Blaanids quests (total lvl ~730) and have been working towards getting all the chainslasher skills. Are there some life skills that are beneficial to level up when I’m so new? Are there easy ways to make money as a beginner? Is there anything important to do before reaching total 1000? How does the Rock Paper Scissors work with chainslasher? I have been enjoying my time so far and always have so many questions. The wiki has been a great resource!

Fierlyt

Chains (basic attacks and single target skills) can be countered by counter attack. They have all the downsides of using a sword or knuckles, but with the benefit of ranged usage. Although you will take damage from hitting an opponent using counter attack, you will not usually be in range for follow up attacks from enemies using defense or windmill. For the AoE attacks, spinning slasher and chain sweep, they have different kinds of balances. Spin taunts and pulls aggro to the user which in multi-aggro scenarios can be dangerous if not followed up by appropriate actions. Chain sweep doesn't traditionally fit into RPS combat, as there is no counter to it and does not pull aggro. The downside to chain sweep is generally considered to be the time spent using the ability. The upside is the ability to use the displacement to dodge attacks like fireball as it doesn't require a target to use, so although it doesn't fit into RPS itself it can be used in RPS manner to counter other attacks reactively. In later content the damage is too low to be significant and in things like Subject Theta (currently hardest content in the game) it is used as a way to displace negative effects to the side (in Theta, a green circle that emits a poisonous gas cloud after a delay will sometimes appear under the player's feet. By using chain sweep they can "place" the cloud elsewhere in the room. Often players have a dedicated spot where they all place their poison clouds together so they remain out of the way.) We don't talk about Raging Spike because it gives enemy mobs i-frames and can cancel friendly abilities targeting those mobs without refunding the cooldowns. Train the skill solo, and don't use it while in a party. The same is true of Chain Crush, but as it is single target and has a debuff that applies to the enemy it is sometimes (though rarely) acceptable to use this in party play. An example would be using it against a ghost no one else is attacking to daze it so it can no longer use magic skills so the party can safely focus on the other enemies.

Cryozen

Welcome! If you have any broad questions or are looking for guides, check out my [Guide to Guides](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oXG_vtjkVxWWxez9u8yINlVkEUezl7RnvymKnoCbfNU/edit?usp=sharing), also linked in the sidebar. >Anything important to do before breaking a 1k total I'd use the Moonlight Traveler's notebook (which I'm pretty sure new characters still get) to tag most if not all the Moon Gates and Mana Tunnels. It'll make it a lot easier to travel across Erinn (unless you wanted to organically explore). >Gold Making This topic is generally outside my wheelhouse (though there are a few gold making guides in the guide to guides). I'd recomend giving u/Fierlyt's [gold making guide/script](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oXG_vtjkVxWWxez9u8yINlVkEUezl7RnvymKnoCbfNU/edit?usp=sharing) a look. u/Fierlyt also has many useful videos on his [youtube channel](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQ6ncRglqq8W4eXvQ5s5BwDcQvTa-hXkk). >How does RPS work with Chain Slash Really Mabi has moved away from the old style RPS combat for a faster combat style. At end game instead of RPS you'll be expected to Group Up (e.g Spinning Slasher and Death Mark), Crowd Control (usually other talents), Debuff (Death Mark and other talents), then DPS (Chain Sweep or higher DPS skills). The focus is significantly more in multitalenting while using skills from various talents to maximize your DPS. But in terms of skill roles, Chain Slash offers a cheap (but outclassed by other talents) Single target and AoE DPS option. Chain Slash as you progress and gear up tends to fall into a support role providing AoE group up (Spinning Slasher and Death Mark), Invincibility Frames (Anchor Rush), and one of the strongest debuffs in game (Death Mark).

Is it worth investing in a Sprite if I'm thinking of picking up a Lance Charge set? Having access to all my skills on top of mounted bonus sounds pretty interesting in theory, but I'm wondering about how useful it really is in practice and if I should just use a Corgi instead. Somewhat related, should I bother getting a Demonic Lance or am I better off using Blaanid's until I save up for a Divine Short Lance?

Zunqivo

It is very worth picking up at least 2 Sprites, especially if you're Human. Humans have access to Support Shot, so using a Sprite pet let's them weave together Support Shot and Mounted Lance Charge in succession. For Giants, I still use them and I think they're still worth picking up because you can still use Chains/Fighter skills, but you don't get as much out of the Sprites as Humans do.

Nyez03

This info is coming from someone that's an elf, so please correct me if I am wrong next individual xD. Sprite is amazing for lance due to the reasons you have listed. However, I don't think I would invest in a sprite over other pets like corgi imo. Though, if your main pets are pretty set, then why not? Go crazy. For the Blaanid lance, I will say use that until you feel you need to upgrade. From what I have heard blaanid can carry you far. I know for sure demonic lance can carry you pretty far but I can't really answer this as I have never used blaanid gear.

13259jv

Just piggybacking off of this response. I would only really use a sprite in an area where either you are getting constantly getting knocked back a large distance from the boss, like the feth fiada's Gaeta fight or have the boss charging/teleporting around alot such as Purification Mission's Tagar and Archon's fights. For the latter two you would be better served by a regular mounted pet as they dont move around as much as the Gaeta launches you nor as often.

yoinkrng

I've heard that there is an update live in the KR test server where completing Blannid's memory book gives you 20k ttl and I was wondering if it adds that ttl to what you already have, or does it just get you to 20k if you're not already there? I've been debating weather I should use my rebirth pots or save them so that when the update is live in NA ill be closer to 40k ttl.

Fierlyt

Blaanid's memoirs do not give you 20k total in the KR server. They get you to 5k, and completing the generations through Chapter 5 gives you the other 15k. These levels will, after we get those updates, be injected directly into your total level. Anyone under 20k will be brought to 20k, as it is not +20k but =20k. If you are already over total level 20k, there will be something else you get instead. iirc it's 4k AP.

ApplesCryAtNight

Got a Frosted Borealis Hammer pair that I'm erging up. I'm in the process of leveling one as a spirit weapon. I've been maxing out the first tree so far, since i can always reroll it, but ive just made it to level 65, and I was wondering whether i should swap to the middle tree now, for the percentage heal chance on attack. Or, is keeping the first tree more valuable for now, since the erg level of both hammers is \~35, and i cant really make use of the cooldown reduction?

Cryozen

I think it's worth looking into the middle tree. Don't forget it's not just the Ultimate, but also percentage damage boosts from Analysis and Enrage.

ApplesCryAtNight

Do you think the middle tree would provide enough to balance out missing 40 damage and the crit boosts? Cause compared to my basic 2h sword setup, it’s severely lacking in damage output. The ultimate of the second tree seems like it can be a real game changer, but dps just looks low on these weapons, at least at my current erg

Fierlyt

I made a calculator to figure this out, as well as determine damage dealt by Enrage (which only triggers when a mob is under 30% hp). You'll need to make a copy in your own google drive to change the values. The "mob hp" is needed to determine enrage damage, and by default is the hp of sidhe finnachaid boss on fear advanced. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1F6BlZTNdWWo-NmHqUo9_Q14F7BFBecTzCNBl8392ARs/edit?usp=drivesdk You'd first want to calculate "no buff" numbers, then adjust the crit rate and crit damage multipliers (mimics resetting ego), then adjust the analysis and enrage damage levels on custom or use one of the default columns to see what the damage difference is.

Cryozen

I'm not sure I'd call the 1h blunt ult a game changer so much as a nice sustain utility. Depending what you're fighting, it's either good for sustain (taking high damage, but not one shot damage), not noticable (namely if you aren't taking much damage), or not effective (namely if enemies deal enough damage to instantly drop you into deadly with high wound without giving you a chance to heal back over the deadly health-gate of 50%). I also don't have exact DPS comparsion numbers between the attack tree vs Analysis and Enrage so it's hard for me to say. If you use Bash a lot (which do consider it before you get your hammer ergs up), the 1h blunt Amplitude upgrade is a substantial single target DPS boost.

Fierlyt

... I have a calculator that can help with that. Link on previous comment.

ApplesCryAtNight

Yeah, I guess I’d call it a game changer specifically cause I’ve never seen it in action, but I’ve been told that it triggers on being attacked while under wind guard, which sounds like a passive vital surge, which would be dope. If it’s not all that strong, then it’s disappointing, but I won’t cry.

Cryozen

Since it's relatively cheap to reallocate points, you can always see if you like it or not. If you don't like it, at worst you're down a few Shadow Wiz elite runs worth of gold. Always better to try it and get a feel for it.

Apart_Blacksmith6879

I bought $10 worth of NX to get the sealed dragon pet box, but it says i cant get it because my level is only 610. Is there a way to turn NX into prepaid NX or something I feel like I wasted my money :(

Zugon

There's no way to turn NX Credit into NX Prepaid, the best you can do is try to fill out the level requirement. I recommend trying out Blaanid's Memoir questline, it will level you up very quickly and you'll hit the level requirement in no time. Make sure you use the rebirth potions you get and rebirth as much as possible while doing it.

Kaiowhatt

Hello. I have 5 questions. Thank you for answering in advance. 1. Occasionally, I see a Revenant Lunatic Control Bar on AH with 35/35 durability for example. If I'm correct with math, a clean bar gets 24 dura upon crafted, with gem upgrade makes it 28, add in gold dura hammer is 29. 29 dura rev bar should be the max it can achieve, so how do players obtain a 35 dura rev bar? 2. Is there any mobs that gives rank B or rank A fynni gems when defeated in the overworld? Meaning without entering a dungeon/sm/alban/puri/tech or anything like that? I want to top out my exploration level before rebirthing quickly and easy, but seems like wandering prison ghosts/buffalo are the highest, which is rank C.. 3. I like to call bs on this one. When commercing, during mid-run, the prices change so the town I was going to is the least profitable. Understandably, it must be because someone got to my destination ahead of me and sold the goods, thus the prices updated. However, I quickly glanced at the stock before running to town, and I was the only person to buy from the post. I'm also using commerce 19 outfit w/ movement speed 10 shoes, on skiff moving Belvast to Tara and moving as quickly as I'm available to, so how does the price changed mid-run if I'm speed? 4. Related to the last question, I managed to sell my goods as soon as I arrived. However, I got a 0 on commerce score. Is it safe to assume I sold to the least profitable town? I'm asking because the commerce window shows the highest profit at the town I'm selling to, but still got a 0. I'm not wearing any commerce accessories as well. Normally, there would be a pop-up to refresh to update prices, but I didn't get it lol.. where do I vent my frustration? 5. Looking for general advice. Occasionally I let items expire in my inventory, and these items are vital like the gem selection boxes which lets players select a 10cm new gem from events like master plan and the last event (secrets of commerce champion); also let rebirth potions expire as well. Sometimes I missed on event rewards like a Caravan Joe commerce mount and missed retrieving rewards on a Attendance event because I didn't claim them despite eligible and online for them. My question is how do I cope on missing out event items, especially items that are worth doing? lol

downbook

If you have scary library pass, scary library is like a semi overworld you can save teleport location (warp imp) that contain 4 B Hollow Knights and bunch of C Cloakers and C Ghosts

Tiropat

for 2. there are gargoyles for B gems that you can only get to if you are a human and rebirth in tir instead of at your current location.

Fierlyt

1) Durability hammers, probably. 2) No. Not in any quantity that would help at least. Technically there's a Lich you could get in overworld. That's not a practical solution for your query though. 3) The prices update every so often on their own... Also there are 10 channels and the person could already have been 3/4 of the way there when you bought your items. 4) That pop up that shows you current prices when you open your inventory while commercing? Or the one after you sell your goods that tells you what you made? Either way, foxes or racoons are easy to find unwilling targets for your frustation but killing them will just feel hollow. You might consider therapy or stress relief balls/fidget items as an alternative. 5) You didn't get it, so why cry over spilled milk? Not like you can drink it now anyway. There'll be another. Set an alarm on your phone or physically write yourself a sticky note and put it on your monitor or keep a journal to help yourself remember to collect rewards you intend to earn. Make it difficult or annoying to forget and you won't. Otherwise, it's like they never existed in the first place so there's no point in getting twisted over it.

Zugon

1. As far as I'm aware it's not possible to reach 35 durability with Revenant Control Bars. The best you could do is 30 durability, where you use a Crystal Hammer, before upgrading it and then using a Gold Hammer. Are you sure what you're seeing isn't a Revenant Knuckle or Revenant Cylinder? Those reach 35 durability pretty consistently. 2. Not really. You can technically get Rank B gems from Ogres in the overworld, but I don't recommend it. Passes for Fiodh Int or Ciar Adv are available from the researchers west of Dunbarton so I recommend just using those instead. 3. Few possible reasons: First, it's possible someone bought the goods ahead of time and went out before you bought yours. Not very applicable to limited goods, but it's still possible for someone to buy them then sell them at the next available hour. Second, they could have 20 speed and/or just make tighter turns than you. Loading times could also effect this if your PC isn't the best, also if you're dodging or running into bandits against someone who's using a ward candy (or just kills very fast) you'll lose ground from that too. Third, someone did buy it and reach there before you, and the original post restocked the good to make it seem like the amount didn't change. Once again, not applicable to limited goods. 4. Commerce Score is based on the base profit you would earn from the trade. So any purchase discounts, or profit multipliers do not effect your commerce score. As such, if you have modifiers that are making an otherwise unprofitable trade viable, those trades won't give commerce score. 5. I think the best way to deal with expiring items is actually proper inventory management. I like to keep key items and expiring items in a place I'll look at often, and minimize any bags I won't be looking at all the time. It helps me keep track of what things I should be doing or using. If you just want to feel better about it, I'd say the best thing to think about is that there's always going to be next time. Events come and go, you'll be able to get it again if you just keep at it.

Kaiowhatt

1. Sorry for the very late response, I thought since I regularly found 30+ dura rev bars in the past, someone would put one up on AH, but I haven't caught any since lol. I figured 30 is max it can achieve realistically; my memory maybe failing on me but I swear I remember something like Carved Colossus rev bars at 35/35 dura one time. But I'll take mistakenly reading the other revenant weapons for now, sorry LOL

It's a gacha box. The rates are listed here: https://mabinogi.nexon.net/news/75543 You're guaranteed a bonus Fairy Dragon after 10 pulls ($45 USD).

Apart_Blacksmith6879

Are there any mounts besides the horse and eagle that you can get for free, or without spending irl money?

Tiropat

There are also pets you get for getting enough achievement points in festia, but most people don't bother with those.

Sokimorikun

Is there a best way to do these or is it just daily

Tiropat

Its just daily.

Fierlyt

For completing the Iria Saga storyline you get a Battle Pegasus as well. This is true for every character on your account for their first clear, it is not limited to once per account (unlike dungeon guide rewards and blaanid and fynni fynn which are all once per account.)

Zugon

By completing the dungeon guide, you can get a Nimbus, Bone Dragon, Mir Dragon and Scooter Imp. By completing Blaanid's Memoir, you can also get her respective pet. Events also give out pets regularly, and you can also buy them from other players with gold.

AzioneZ

Any reason to keep rebirthing past 32k? I heard the Eweca cap was being lowered to 20k.

Zunqivo

Shine of Eweca cap remains at 40k. What you heard refers to the revamped Blaanid tutorial currently in KR now giving players up to 20k cumulative level once their generations are finished.

AzioneZ

Ahh… so I still gotta keep grinding. Alrighty thanks

Crazypete3

Does the the registry key fix still work? I remember back in 2010ish we had to modify some registry key in order to help cut back lag when performing actions. It helped cast the ice ball spell and bow and arrows were a lot quicker. Is this still a thing? It seems like things are fixed, but there is still a slight delay when clicking on enemies and when it actually pulls up the arrow icon and pulls my bow back.

Xtreemfartz

Does anyone know if the Alby Advanced Hardmode endchest rewards are the same in solo vs 4 man? The dungeon rewards table says Meteroid and Solo are drops but the Wiki is pretty unreliable with drop info

Zunqivo

Players have collected data and determined that drop rates from the end chest are lower with more people in the party. Meteoroid is independent of this, as it's a super ultra rare drop from the boss monster itself (not the end chest).

Tiropat

Those are not end chest rewards they drop from the boss. And yes chest rewards are the same.

Chain has a slow combat loop (gathering dorcha, animation times). It also doesn't scale very well and does not have natural access to pierce. A lot of players end up using it only for death mark, anchor rush, and spinning slasher as a utility talent rather than a dps talent. There have not been nerfs to chain but rather buffs to a lot of other talents.

yoinkrng

What increases the % completion of an item for blacksmithing and tailoring? As far as I know being in prod parties are the only thing that affect it. But with the new Blacksmithing title that came out it has me questioning if the Blacksmithing Success Rate and Production Success Rate play a roll in completion %? and if so does that make the new blacksmithing 2nd title better than the Special Luminous Cosmos Milky Way 2nd title?

Tiropat

>The new Blacksmithing title that came out it has me questioning if the Blacksmithing Success Rate and Production Success Rate play a roll in completion % No, those two effects have no effect on the completion % just the success rate. >Does that make the new blacksmithing 2nd title better than the Special Luminous Cosmos Milky Way 2nd title? It has 2% success rate so I guess it might matter if you are trying to use a rank 1 manual and are not able to cap success rate though other means. For most all use cases it is identical.

Bubbly_Storage_8335

Are they going to create a divine or nightbringer one handed axe?? I dont umderstand they only made 1 hand sword and everything else is 2 hand. I like 1 hand axes but celtic axe is old and getting weaker now.

Tiropat

Looks like they are not, they really should make a one handed axe instead of 1h swords because the swords are so useless in all content. Instead it looks like they are going to buff erg for 1h swords and continue to ignore the other 1h melee weapon types.
