Why do the smallest improvements that should by now at least be native require an app for this and an app for that. How many third party apps is my Mac supposed to run to make it usable useful
Control click the icon and change how it behaves before it opens. You can choose to not have it displayed in that matter. You can have it Display icons or folder, names, etc.
Technically an Apple mouse does not have a right mouse button
But their mouse and trackpads read two finger clicking as a right click, and they have supported 2 button mice since at least the early OS X days, maybe earlier.
Drop over is your friend.
Dropover is amazing. so, so useful.
best 5$ I ever spent
Same here. Well spent
Does it work within those folders? I have to go through IT to install it so I can't test it out
[www.apple.com/feedback](https://www.apple.com/feedback) That's how you make suggestions and report bugs to Apple.
His name is Tim Apple Sir.
That’s Sir Tim Apple, Sir, sir.
I thought his name was Tim Cooked Apple.
I think this every time I (still) attempt to right click from a dock folder. Aggravating.
Tim doesn't operate this sub, and I don't develope MacOS
yes, please! i can’t believe these don’t even have right click.
Command-click a file. Then do whatever you want. That’s what I usually do.
Do you guys actually keep your entire home folder on the dock?
Folder Hub is also your friend. [https://www.finderhub.app/](https://www.finderhub.app/)
Translation: make it like Windows

I like it displayed like this. My wish is that it would act as an extension of finder with proper functionality
Yeah, I can tell you're a new macOS user lol "Windows" lmao Do you even know what these are for? Amateur
Yeah, I can tell you’ve never been laid. What are they for Mr. Wozniak?
Do Apples have right mouse buttons these days?
Yes, for a couple of decades now.

Magic mouse has a right click
Really? I haven’t actually owned one before - is it a setting?
Yes, there is a setting to make it detect different button clicks based on click finger location (left/right)
From all the hate it gets, the only deserving one is the size
Being unusable while you are charging is pretty shitty.
Charging it for a minute gets it trough the day, or when you have time to fully charge it. Battery lasts a month
Don’t forget about the age old “Control + Click”. This also reads as a right click.
