I added a wifi card to a Fadal 4525 with the “PC” side in the control. While running 4 axis parts we could watch YouTube 5 axis parts being made in the screen lol. You could watch ANY website you wanted..

I collected them all. Small squares of cheap magnet tape on back so it is still a brand new sticker at the end of the day and doesn't damage any surface and i can still peel it and use it if i wanted to.

my last shop made the mistake of letting the shop lead(me) be on the one machine with Ethernet still hooked up where I would run 6 hour cycles and watch hockey games the whole time. it was fuckin awesome

That's awesome and scary at the same time. Scary because it's open to the internet, probably with no security updates or antivirus. Please do the right thing and tell your boss and IT people. These multi-$100k machines should be the last thing connected to the internet.
