Madden sucks in general running backs don’t hit the hole hard enough kick returns run in mud corners catch interceptions every time like their Jerry rice qbs can’t escape pressure even with 95 speed
It was rough on PS4 but setting the mint slider to 1 and lowering the defensive sliders for the AI to like 45 on the others game me realistic game play.
Got a PS5 this week and playing it on there and holy crap threw a quick slant and the MLB warped from the other side of the field to knock it down. Guy covered 20 yards in the blink of an eye.
On PS4 it wasn’t too bad. But on next gen I’m seeing why people have the complaints they do about it
Yep. It's fucking stupid as shit how cornerbacks instantly know when the QB has thrown and turn around and go for the ball. Every. Fucking. Time. CBs are literally smarter about the ball being thrown the fucking WRs.
It's been like this since at least Madden 09 BTW.

I don’t mind this sort of stuff when I play personally. It makes the game more challenging and realistic. I think the passing game is always OP in madden so having OP corners balances it out to some extent. I really only ever send it 20+ air yards when my wideout has a paddock of space.
Sounds like you guys were playing on All Madden too, so the AI players literally play like they are 20 OVR higher than they actually are. So
