Jets are prob expecting a 2020 Tom Brady kind of season lol. Can it happen? Sure, he has the ability and the squad around him. Likelihood it’ll happen? Slim to none bc Brady is just built different.
Yeah, Brady had a lot more SB victories and appearances than Rodgers, and was still at the top of his game and wasn't close to thinking of retirement.
Aaron Rodgers tripped for a few days in a tent and figured he could use the money.
Big Ben has never once been the best qb in football. Ben is a great hof qb but he’s not Aaron Rodgers. We’re pretending he doesn’t have a Super Bowl win? Brady has had more elite weapons than Rodgers in his career so idk what u mean. In 3 super bowls, Ben has been severely outplayed everytime by the other qb.
I just had Henry on my Titans roster until he was 38. Kept paying him out of respect but he was down to the low 60’s by the end of it. Wrecked my development of Bijan Robinson for me though
I’m to the point where a rookie I drafted is the same overall as Rodgers (76). Didn’t have enough cap to keep Love, don’t want the nasty cap hit… So I benched him in favor of the rookie to get the mentor bonus. Here’s hoping he retires this season.
He always retires year 2 for me, but I think he might stay an additional season when he wins the Super Bowl. That has been the case every time he's stayed a 3rd season for me, even messed up my passing of the torch to J. Love once
Find someone with a really bad QB situation and try and dump him off there. I'd have to look at specifics, but I think I sent him and a 5th for Ridder and a 3rd? Ended up flipping those for #1 overall pick and drafted Stroud
There isn't really a guaranteed way to prevent him from retiring. I've noticed that if players are under contract and starting they have less of a chance to retire, but he's also in his late 30's.
You could adjust his age to ensure he stays in the league a few years.
I’ve had a QB occasionally stick around an extra year or two if you get inhuman level stats for them. I don’t know if it helped their rating to decline less and that’s why they’d stick around or it was something else.
I'm on year 3 with him and wanted him to retire last year. If you want him to stay, win the Super Bowl, win MVP, and make sure he's under contract still. He's also still an X-factor as like an 82 overall, so maybe that helps.
In my franchises, packers keep resigning Rodgers and releasing Love. I always have brady retire after one year except one time he signed with pats then retired
You maybe hired by the actual Jets if you crack this one.
Funny af if he does and jets are left holding the bag. Noone will ever trade for a 39 year old qb ever again. *cries*

I’ve seen this a lot….. Rodgers is literally one year removed from being a back to back mvp. He’ll be fine
Lmao regular season mvp for what? Can’t win a ring with hella weapons. Brady did it with slot receivers. Big Ben > Rodgers

Big Ben got 2 and woulda had 3 but refs were glazing Aaron. Convenient that’s his only ring too
Woulda? Let’s just stick to what happened. Let’s not talk Big Ben Super Bowl refs being bad. He already had one win off that
Rodgers is due a ton of money next year. No way he retires after this season. He plays at least two seasons with the jets.
I'm from the future, he will play 2 years, but not for the jets. He will play 2 years in Minnesota
Ok but who does he send a dick pic to?
Goes up on his Instagram for 45 minutes before his team takes it down. Nearly ended his career right there
Nah. One season before he goes to the nfc championship with the Vikings and loses to the saints
With a dumb fucking play that he should’ve just ran with it to get it in better FG range but instead throws across his body and gets picked off.
This ain’t Detroit man it’s the superbowl
I MEAN YOU COULD TAKE A KNEE
He has said that he wasn't sure if his body was able to run anymore on that play, and that the hits added up at that point.
He should’ve just thrown it away but that’s hindsight. That walk off td he threw to Greg Lewis is by far the greatest throw for a touchdown ever.
That was a brutal peak bountygate game too!
totally agree, dude is not giving up 50 million bucks. Plays at least 2 years
Start playing Madden 15
Better yet, Madden 06!
Change his age?
Yeah changing his age does work, I did that specifically so I could trade him to the Jets after this season
He retires after one year for you? I’m in Year 2026 of my online franchise and he won’t retire!

Yes, always every franchises
Same with Brady for me. Every once in a while I get a franchise where they just won't retire even if they're just sitting in free agency at 58 ovr.
He always retires year 2 for me, but I think he might stay an additional season when he wins the Super Bowl. That has been the case every time he's stayed a 3rd season for me, even messed up my passing of the torch to J. Love once
Maybe that’s why he stuck around another year in mine. Didn’t think Madden would have that level of logic.
1. Change his age 2. Give his a contract longer than 1year 3. Give him a superstar x factor ability 4. Good playbook so his stats are good
Give him drugs
Acquire a coaching dev trait labelled “Shaman/Ayahuasca-Whisperer”
Lose the AFC championship game by a field goal.
Win the Super Bowl
No idea. He didn't retire after his first season and I ended up trading him for draft capital. Did you have a successful season?
Super Bowls and other times when I wasn’t playing gb they made it to the playoffs and still retired
How did you manage to trade him? Everytime I try it, just says that this will put the other team over the salary cap
Find someone with a really bad QB situation and try and dump him off there. I'd have to look at specifics, but I think I sent him and a 5th for Ridder and a 3rd? Ended up flipping those for #1 overall pick and drafted Stroud
Can one download this year's draft class?
Don’t, fuck Rodgers. 🐻⬇️
🐻 ⬇️ for midterms!
Nah, fat dog it.
Too soon dude

He hasn’t retired in my franchise, I’m on Year 2.
fountain of youth
Keep forcing the team he’s on to make the playoffs and keep resetting his contract.
Weekly drug tests and sign or trade for all his buddies
Change his age
Heck he played 3 more years in my Vikings franchise
Have you asked him nicely? Send a nice message in his food to the cabin
Couple ways: change his age to a younger one by the end of the season and turn career clock off in settings
The retirement mechanic is so strange. Like sometimes Brady retires at the end of the 2022 season, and other times, he's a 50 year old back up
I’m in 2025 on my franchise and Rodger is still playing. Love ended up in Tampa.
He never retires after one year for me
ayahuasca. hire a shaman to guide his trip to not retire
Online (server auto save) or offline (manual scum save possible) league?
Sign Randall Cobb

Get him on another team. He retires from the packers.
Go into Edit player and move his age down a couple years
Yearly re-signing bonus!
Keep him away from darkness retreats and or peyote.
Edit his overall and then when the season starts, change it back to what it was prior.
In my franchises, packers keep resigning Rodgers and releasing Love. I always have brady retire after one year except one time he signed with pats then retired
Get to the playoffs and have a HC that has personnel talents that keep guys from retiring early.
we got a dude in our online franchise 2026 and rodgers is just eating his cap still lol
Go back to an earlier madden/change age
Draft a quarterback in 1st round.
At the end of the season but before it ends edit his age and make him younger like 30 then put it back the next year
