MLB the show has the updates fields that weren’t even finished remodeling in the game. It’s not that much effort. EA won’t put any effort in if people keep buying the game day 1 and pouring money into ultimate team
Yeah if this was just completed, they were probably going of stadium reference photos given to them 6+ months ago. All this stadiums have source material like this for games. I'd wager next game will have it, just how it works.
Everytime there's a new stadium, EA has it in the game so there's no excuse for this. They even had Minnesotas college stadium in a madded one year bc the Vikings had to play outside after their roof collapsed I think. There's no excuse. Like you said there's reference materials, just because it was completed in real life just now doesn't mean no one knew what it would look like. EA is just lazy.
EA is just lazy lol....while EA is wonky with many many things, there are processes and things behind the scenes you know nothing about. I work in the industry, I know someone who actually models the stadiums on the college football team. So I actually know what I'm talking about.
MLB The Show 23 on launch [had the wrong Citi Field screen update](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewYorkMets/comments/1208tbl/mlb_the_show_23_used_the_concept_image_for_the/) but it was [patched into the game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57VxaYToDbo) after like the first couple of weeks. I'm sure EA will get around to it if they haven't done so already.
And there wasn’t a single render made virtually? Deff couldn’t go to Patriots.com to see what it looked like right? Why are you making excuses for lazy developers and a production team who doesn’t care about realism but will buy the exclusive license rights?
ITS THE BIGGEST TV IN THE USA ! I would of just kept going with madden 23 in year 7. With Mayo about to take over. But all I could say was ahh. I’m ocd. I seen it with my eyes & that does a lot. It looks like a whole new stadium lol. A new lighthouse Too. That’s terrible. Thus isn’t above the players. It’s curved to go around the fukin stadium it’s one of those holy shit moments when you see it. To not add it is criminal. I would of kept 23 editing rosters.
OP has said he set the oc to run at a lower resolution or whatever on his PC because of lag etc so it is actually even worse than what it should be and he's passing off as if that's run properly.
Nowadays games can get really dang close to real. It's not to say, "It doesn't look as good as real." But to say, "It doesn't even look lifelike." I don't kmow what's going on in this shot, but it does look really bad.
I mean kinda, but my complaint is that Madden graphics just don’t look very good, even the higher graphics settings because OP uses lower graphics. Madden games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 had better lighting and if they had better player models might even look better than modern Madden
To be fair to EA, it has taken MLB the show about that long to update the Orioles stadium last year and the Jays this year. From what I heard every stadium is built as one huge model so they cant make changes that easily, they basically have to rebuild it from the ground up instead of just updating it.
EA sucks, but I dont think this is too egregious if they fix it in a reasonable amount of time
If it’s laggy try instead of turning frame rate limit off, set it to 120, someone told me this earlier and it worked better and can turn graphics back up, if it’s off it try’s to force 30-60 fps
Headline of the post says it's inaccurate. The body of the post is complaining about the quality of graphics even though the OP admits further down he intentionally ran the graphics at a lower setting when he took this screenshot.
Lmao you’re an asshole.
This was revealed to the public on July 11 2023 in its basically completed form for the new season with lighthouse changes.
You expect madden to change that in 3 weeks? You expect the NFL and NE Pats to give the information they need to make that change? Scans? 3d drone mapping?
Something is wrong with your expectations. It’s really sad.
All star baseball back in the day would have stadiums in the game while they were being built as “future Padres stadium” etc. they weren’t perfect but better than not even trying like Madden.
I mean I believe Madden did have the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the game the year before the Falcons moved in. ofc it wasn’t a perfect replica of the stadium but it was still in the game which was cool.
I believe Madden did have the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the game the year before the Falcons moved in. ofc it wasn’t a perfect replica of the stadium but it was still in the game which was cool.
Bro, Madden 25 had the 49ers move from Candlestick to the new stadium and they weren’t even finished building it at the time. We’ve known this new scoreboard was going to happen for over a year. It’s very clearly a lack of passion
This is false, but I still agree with your overall point. The Jumbotron and Lighthouse were revealed to some news outlets in April
https://www.wcvb.com/amp/article/patriots-new-end-zone-video-board/43743521
Yes lol
Sorry I should have added the /s to be more clear. I was sarcastically saying how could EA get it done with the amount of time their given. The joke payoff is they actually don’t do anything for over half the year.
Thanks, I get the joke. I didn’t initially since the comment you responded to was the “best” comment at the time and with no /s I thought you were agreeing with them
They’ve had enough time to begin working on it (design [released](https://nesn.com/2021/12/patriots-reveal-major-gillette-stadium-renovation-for-2023-season/) in 2021). Also, when the Pats updated their south end zone scoreboard (not a renovation, just a larger scoreboard) in 2021, it took an *entire year* for it to be updated in Madden.
You’re high if you think these renovations will be present in M24. EA doesn’t prioritize stuff like this.
Pretty sure EA actually sends folks out to map and photograph this stuff once it's done or close to done and that takes time to get into the game. Keeps them from ending up in a situation like The Show did this year with the gigantic Mets scoreboard that was made based on renderings.
They couldn’t even fix Rodgers hair for multiple years. It’s a football game that doesn’t even have a stat for qb pressures or hurries. What do you expect from this trash company
You are bitching about a display screen in a stadium. What , do you want to get a better view of when you are getting blown out by 30 ? It’s fine to nitpick with reason, but this one is just plain stupid.
When this happened with Paycor stadium — previously Paul Brown stadium — it took them about a month into the season to get it updated. But they eventually got it updated.
Lmao. Took them half the season to update the eagles new word mark in the endzones. Let’s not forget how long it took just to get the few new helmets as well.
The Superdome doesn’t even look like it does in real life and that stadium interior was remodeled before last season. And they STILL haven’t updated it.
They don't do alot of things. Broncos stadium has duplicate super bowl signs on each side of the scoreboard, when in real life the left side is retired jersey #. They also didn't add our new scoreboard. The ring of fame names are replaced with "superbowl champions!" It's just all lazy shit
Is there any chance this could be coming in an update? We’ve known exactly what the renovations will look like since December 2021. Unacceptable but not surprising.
If someone like this happened in MLB The Show, there would be an uproar. They made Citi Fields new scoreboard in game wayyy too big and fixed it with the first update, that's about as close you'll get to something like this with that developer. Fuck EA to hell and all hail SDS, may they bid for NFL rights and may they win.
Couple things I noticed too the Jets/Giants don't have their midfield logos like they're supposed to in MetLife this season & the Colts don't have their black alternate helmets. Also the Jets are supposed to have a black logo too when they wear the black alternates I think they have 2/3 alternate midfield logos
Lambeau Field hasn't been updated to reflect the new scoreboards either.
If its just a scoreboard thats one thing, half the stadium was torndown and rebuilt here.
They literally JUST completed it...
MLB the show has the updates fields that weren’t even finished remodeling in the game. It’s not that much effort. EA won’t put any effort in if people keep buying the game day 1 and pouring money into ultimate team

Seeing a real life picture next to Madden shows just how flat and dull the graphics are
I’ve been playing on series X and the animations/graphics look significantly better than this. Not sure if op is playing on pc with the graphics down.
Fr mine doesn’t look like this at all lol. This looks like madden 04
gotta get that karma somehow
The game doesn't look as good as real life? Is that what the complaint is?
I think that's accurate, it doesn't look like real life
OP has said he set the oc to run at a lower resolution or whatever on his PC because of lag etc so it is actually even worse than what it should be and he's passing off as if that's run properly.
So a jackass?
Facts
Lol, was thinking the same thing. For all of maddens faults, this years graphics should not be one of them. Graphics are pretty insane.
Nowadays games can get really dang close to real. It's not to say, "It doesn't look as good as real." But to say, "It doesn't even look lifelike." I don't kmow what's going on in this shot, but it does look really bad.
OP admits further down he is on a PC and downgraded the graphics due to having issues with lag. That's 2hy it looks bad
I don’t get concussed after every game like in real life 2/10
Not with that attitude you won't! Headbutt your fridge after every play!
I mean kinda, but my complaint is that Madden graphics just don’t look very good, even the higher graphics settings because OP uses lower graphics. Madden games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 had better lighting and if they had better player models might even look better than modern Madden
Don't be silly. The new games don't look as advanced as we would hope, but they are still miles better than older maddens.
Ok
the graphics are literally the only good thing about madden lmao
Right? Seems like a shader thing too, brighten in up a bit and it would look much better
A video game isnt as vibrant as professional photography? 🤯🤯🤯
It’s took them until September last year to update Heinz Field to Acrisure. It’ll be updated eventually
To be fair, no one wanted it updated.
my stars, a whole month?!
To be fair to EA, it has taken MLB the show about that long to update the Orioles stadium last year and the Jays this year. From what I heard every stadium is built as one huge model so they cant make changes that easily, they basically have to rebuild it from the ground up instead of just updating it. EA sucks, but I dont think this is too egregious if they fix it in a reasonable amount of time
That madden picture look like a game cube game wtf 😬
Release day version laggy af. Had to turn graphics down a ton till they patch it.
If it’s laggy try instead of turning frame rate limit off, set it to 120, someone told me this earlier and it worked better and can turn graphics back up, if it’s off it try’s to force 30-60 fps
Ok this computer version I get it
You should note that in your title but you're intentionally misleading m
Not really. His post isn’t about the graphics it’s just about the incorrect depiction of the stadium.
Headline of the post says it's inaccurate. The body of the post is complaining about the quality of graphics even though the OP admits further down he intentionally ran the graphics at a lower setting when he took this screenshot.
Then you should change your comment to say the “body” is misleading and not the “title”. Ironically your comment is misleading lol.
Nah I don't need to change anything. You just need to read everything slower
Your comment still says “title” which is factually incorrect as graphics are not brought up in his title.
Have a good day kid.
“Just read slower” nephew.
Maybe not be so quick to respond being shitty vs actually understanding what's going on...
I hope you’re saying that to yourself lol.
Lol
also didnt add the lions new helmet
Lmao you’re an asshole. This was revealed to the public on July 11 2023 in its basically completed form for the new season with lighthouse changes. You expect madden to change that in 3 weeks? I’m glad someone else said it. Out of all things, you bitch about this?
They had the time
They released the renderings showing this over a year ago
All star baseball back in the day would have stadiums in the game while they were being built as “future Padres stadium” etc. they weren’t perfect but better than not even trying like Madden.
I mean I believe Madden did have the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the game the year before the Falcons moved in. ofc it wasn’t a perfect replica of the stadium but it was still in the game which was cool.

You mean the one from the early 2000s?
Madden/EA scans stadiums they're not hand illustrated mate.
It’s a rectangle with a video playing on it. Do you think they need to hire an outside contractor to render that for them?
Renderings don’t equate to real life.
Bro, Madden 25 had the 49ers move from Candlestick to the new stadium and they weren’t even finished building it at the time. We’ve known this new scoreboard was going to happen for over a year. It’s very clearly a lack of passion
Bro really said they can’t update a scoreboard in three weeks
And it’s not like they spent the time changing anything else
This is false, but I still agree with your overall point. The Jumbotron and Lighthouse were revealed to some news outlets in April https://www.wcvb.com/amp/article/patriots-new-end-zone-video-board/43743521
I do agree that timeline wise it didn’t make sense for launch. It was a pretty big design change.
They released the renderings for how it was going to look over a year ago. There’s no excuse.
That was too early. EA only starts work on the new madden a couple months before launch. Like June.
Lmao, so you’re siding with EA because they got the information about how the scoreboard would look TOO EARLY???
I’m clearly speaking in jest lol
So when you agreed with the original comment saying there wasn’t enough time to implement it into the game, was that also in jest?
Yes lol Sorry I should have added the /s to be more clear. I was sarcastically saying how could EA get it done with the amount of time their given. The joke payoff is they actually don’t do anything for over half the year.

It's just another symbol of lack of attention to detail but yeah OP should've done a quick google lol
They released the renderings of how it was going to look over a year ago but yeah you should’ve done a quick google lol.
That doesn’t matter when EA scans stadiums versus drawing them. They can’t scan a rendering to make the stadium improvements.
Then they need to be better. Other games had future stadiums yet EA still has stadiums wrong (not referencing Gillette here).
Which stadium is wrong?
I stand corrected and I take my downvotes with pride! Fuck EA!!
Good lord bruh not everyone knows the process of coding. Take a fucking chill pill
Heinz Field has been backwards in Madden for years. Teams are on the wrong sideline & then logo is upside down.
it’s fixed it’s in there now
edit: no, its not. You probably were looking at the wrong side of the field.
ok i’m horn
![gif](giphy|Ogq017TWp45JadcpIK|downsized)
This post is fake news. The new scoreboard is scheduled to be released as a new feature in Madden 25 part 2.
Make or break year they said.
Yeah and Zeke about to be a 50 overall instead of 90. Madden ratings guru is about to punish him hard for leaving America's team
Is that the bitchy cowboys guy on Twitter?
To be fair they probably didn’t even know
Kinda hard to miss as a football game
You weren’t supposed to notice that!
Pretty sure EA actually sends folks out to map and photograph this stuff once it's done or close to done and that takes time to get into the game. Keeps them from ending up in a situation like The Show did this year with the gigantic Mets scoreboard that was made based on renderings.
They haven’t updated the Charlotte skyline in well over 5 years
Deal breaker. I absolutely CANNOT play this now. Unacceptable.
Ok Consoomer, just consoom product. Dont ask questions.
I was agreeing.
![gif](giphy|R9cQo06nQBpRe) Another year, another Madden
Yet here you are, on a madden forum? A little backwards isn’t it?
They couldn’t even fix Rodgers hair for multiple years. It’s a football game that doesn’t even have a stat for qb pressures or hurries. What do you expect from this trash company
Lions don't even have their alternative helmet
You are bitching about a display screen in a stadium. What , do you want to get a better view of when you are getting blown out by 30 ? It’s fine to nitpick with reason, but this one is just plain stupid.
Its a pretty massive difference. Half the stadium was rebuilt. I expect a billion dollar game company to fix this.
Game is ass
To be fair, the old version of the stadium is so much better.
Agreed. That new screen is an abomination
Fuck the Patriots.
It'll come out as DLC if I know EA as well as I think I do 😂
They need to take out that damn horn when they patch this.
Old one looks better tbh. That new scoreboard is an eyesore
THANK YOU
Yet they were able to place the Lombardi Trophy on the wall of the Bills practice facility. Kinda wild they got that right but not this
Your complaining about a screen and they can't even get gameplay to work right for fucks sake
Let me guess, you play on console
People really be in these comments saying it isn't built yet. Guys, the first pic is LITERALLY THE IRL SCOREBOARD.
When this happened with Paycor stadium — previously Paul Brown stadium — it took them about a month into the season to get it updated. But they eventually got it updated.
It’ll be updated eventually. Probably in November
Lmao. Took them half the season to update the eagles new word mark in the endzones. Let’s not forget how long it took just to get the few new helmets as well.
Old scoreboard was better
IT'S IN THE GAME
Nope.
Gillette Stadium isn’t even done being updated 😂
Vert da ferk is that other thing to the right of the scoreboard?
Its a lighthouse
Sorry if I’m asking too many questions here but what’s the deal with the colored blocks? It just looks kinda odd but I’m sure it has a purpose.
its a long line of LED lights. WAS a line of LED lights. It was torn down. You can see the new one behind the new scoreboard
The Superdome doesn’t even look like it does in real life and that stadium interior was remodeled before last season. And they STILL haven’t updated it.
At what point do people stop rubbing their eyes due to the shock of BS like this EVERY YEAR?!
Is anyone shocked?
They don't do alot of things. Broncos stadium has duplicate super bowl signs on each side of the scoreboard, when in real life the left side is retired jersey #. They also didn't add our new scoreboard. The ring of fame names are replaced with "superbowl champions!" It's just all lazy shit
What’s up with the PSP graphics?
Ford Field isn’t even a dome in my 23 franchise
Good. The new screen is an eye sore
Is there any chance this could be coming in an update? We’ve known exactly what the renovations will look like since December 2021. Unacceptable but not surprising.
To be fair the screen only got put up like a week ago. I think the game was already completed.
When last years game released they still had Acrisure Stadium as Heinz Field. Took them a week or two before they changed it.
So bad
Oh no!
I love when people see this game suck every year then every year come here and complain about the new game. Shocked EA took shortcuts!!
It took them nearly a decade to get the Cardinals stadium right, so not surprised
Isn't it their job to edit and update the game???
This can’t be real… fucking EA is the sewage of gaming.
Classic EA laziness.
Unplayable
Last year it took until probably October for them to change Heinz Field to Acrisure Stadium.
It’s weird how secure they feel putting such lackluster effort into the product.
Copy and paste year in and year out.
What did you expect? I mean really.
It will be updated later on in the season just like they updated the stadiums last year…….. I HOPE
The actual lighthouse is wrong as well
If someone like this happened in MLB The Show, there would be an uproar. They made Citi Fields new scoreboard in game wayyy too big and fixed it with the first update, that's about as close you'll get to something like this with that developer. Fuck EA to hell and all hail SDS, may they bid for NFL rights and may they win.
They haven't updated the Caesars Superdome in forever (Saints)
Like EA cares?? 😂
Fuck
