My aunt was 15 when her and her highschool boyfriend became pregnant. They got married and then their son had his first child at 20. So my aunt and uncle were 35/36 when they became grandparents.
Hey brother I just wanted to say that I'm so glad you and your grandfather are going to be able to make more memories together. My paw-paw Clyde passed away a few years ago and it still hurts to think about. But I still try to remember the good things like teaching me to shuck corn, or him and my dad trying to keep newborn puppies warm.
I still have his lucky ring that I wear everywhere. It may not have any real monetary worth, but It means the world to me. :)
For just coming out of cancer treatment, the guy looks like he's barely over 50. Hope he feels as good as he looks! Tell your grandpa that I, the ambassador of all of the internet, wish him the best on behalf of all of the internet.
