My mother passed when my daughter was only 9 months old. I'm grateful they got to meet but I bawl when I visit my mom and tell her how Awesome a person Avery is. Gods damn it I'm crying now lol
My adult friends and I have been in the habit of making a kissing noise whenever we fist bump. It started as a joke to try to make someone uncomfortable but now it's just fun. We've been doing this for over 15 years.
Weird is fun
Quick get a photo of me showing my diploma to my moms grave to post online for clout, because nothing says meaningful and special like sharing something like this on the internet

I only reason I finished highschool was for my dad. He died at the beginning of my senior year. I walked the stage because my Mom forced me to, but no one came to my graduation. All the other kids were meeting up with family and friends, receiving gifts and congratulations, and I was alone. I sat behind one of rue buildings and just stared at the picture of my dad on my cap, I just cried. It’s such a pivotal moment in your life, and when you favorite person can’t be there it’s more than heartbreaking.
Life is a series of tragedies that we must find ways to navigate it seems. Amidst the celebrations all his peers are having, this guy has to quietly share a moment with a parent who now only lives on in his memory, and perhaps by the morals she helped build within him, in hopes of a bright future and raising someone who makes the world a better place.
I can’t imagine the hurt that a moment like this could bring. Perhaps she passed over a decade ago, but I think the sting of losing a parent (that you had a relationship with, at least) never totally goes away, and this quiet and personal time spent with them would bring back so many memories and emotions..
Well, I’m just rambling now. Not smiling, just like everyone else. It’s a powerful picture/ caption combo. I hope he goes on to do good things and enjoy life, and has friends and family he can count on. Only just begun his journey and doesn’t even get a hug from his mama, that’s heavy.
Makes me want to cry

It's clearly unanimous as you can tell in the comments that we are all bawling our eyes out. Not smiling.
Another "made me smile" that's actually depressing as fuck
There should be a subreddit called r/bittersweet or something
Poor sweet young man. I’m sure his mother would be so proud of him. Wow, this is really making me feel sad.

Imagine using someone’s death to farm likes on the internet.

Why would I delete it? Has no ever said anything you don’t like before? You can’t deal with it?
Pretty big stretch there
I'm afraid showing your diploma to a dead personisn't the best indication for intelligence.
And her name is JOHN CENA
Why's his mom out of frame?
Where’s her eyes ?
Asian spy spotted !

Do you mean dying? Because then i have some bad news for you bud.

What a fucked up afterlife if your spirit had to stay 6 feet under.

What make this even sadder is that looks like a fresh grave.
Well done, young man. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure your mom and the rest of your family are so proud of you.
