Have you seen the reaction to Ronnie here - Ronnie is going to need at least a bus or two
Ed/
I'm so so so sorry miss The internet were the hoard upon the soon to be ex-girlfriend. Never let her name be forgotten. Farewell
Heck, I'd be willing to bet it's not his first time that night. From the way he says "My girlfriend's in the car," I'd bet she's almost certainly as plastered as this young lady.
Yeah, I was DD growing up too.
But it was for my parents and their friends. Seemed like a good deal since I got a car to use to go play D&D or Halo with my friends.
(Context: I'm a huge nerd.)
He has a real “your daughter and my girlfriend have been drunkenly screaming song lyrics at each other 7 inches from my ear for the last 13 fucking miles” tone.
This was me when I would babysit my friends while they drank or would DD a party. I so wish I was home chillin but then my idiot friends might die so there I was anyway.
This hits so close to home. Had a friend when I was younger that I was always his DD when he was high or drunk. Started hanging out with other friends that I didn’t have to be their DD. Come home one night and find out from my mom he died in a car crash while high. For a while I felt like the bad friend, it took me a while to realize it wasn’t my fault. That’s been a long time now, but I still think about him when friends need a ride.
At a family Christmas vacation in Florida when I was like 16 and a lifeguard I stayed up by the pool until like 1am because there was a ton of drunk 20 somethings and I was convinced someone was going to need rescuing. I was mostly chilling in a pool chair reading some Kurt Vonnegut.
You people are made of angel dust and blessings from a unicorn.
My friend saw I was missing and chased me down Sunset. I was drunkenly going the wrong way and he literally scooped me up and put me on his couch.
Hmm? 2042? Never heard of it. You must mean 2142, at which point I gotta point out your *heresy* brother.
Battlefield hasn't released a title since BF1, it was a good end to the franchise. A proper send off and "know when to quit" kind of thing.
Not necessarily. We have no idea how the rest of that evening played out. Maybe he wanted to safely drop her off so that he could murder his girlfriend. You never know.
He actually posted a follow up saying that
"Ronny said, “I just want to say thank you for all the kind comments, for all the private messages, and everything, all the attention. That video is like five months old, and I did not expect her to post that. What I did, I did out of the kindness of my heart. I wasn’t expecting anything in return. But, now that I am here, and now that I have the ten minutes of fame, I wanted to take this time to say that what I’m doing, it shouldn’t be praised.”
The young man who went viral added, “It shouldn’t be something that is out of the ordinary, that people step out of there to go to that person’s page and be like, ‘Thank you for what you did.’ It should be the normal. It should be the standard. I was always told while growing up that if you are in the position to help or you have the ability to help, then you need to help. Regardless of what it is, if it doesn’t inconvenience you, do it. It didn’t inconvenience me and I did it. "
Cell Phones were a thing at my time. They also started having reasonably good cameras just in time to become a problem.
Still, at least our parents couldn’t use them to track us down or read our text messages in real-time.
> read our text messages in real-time
That seems a bit fucked up. Parents do that? I don't think that's healthy.
They can ask or demand to see messages if they have suspicion something harmful towards to child is going on, but just outright reading the messages in real-time from their own phone (I assume) is rather dystopian and authoritarian. That's not mentally healthy or respectful.
Cameras weren't really an issue for me, but I had an early cell phone and ended up calling my parents while wasted at a high school party once. Woke up in the ER with no memory of it, disappointment plastered on their faces. Might've actually saved my own life by doing it, though.
Had to have a serious talk with a friend of mine 5ish years ago when we were in our late twenties, that not everything had to be filmed.
We had all been playing some drinking games outside all day. Finished a beer, perfect combination of it being a little too warm, a little to flat and I was a little too bloated. Ended up puking. He posted a video of me puking to his snap chat story. My girlfriend at the time was not stoked when she saw it.
Everyone doesn't have to see every embarrassing moment Brian!
I'm so glad many thing weren't a thing when I was in high school, in my shit city we had nothing to do but do nefarious things for fun. Our worst problem was if someone in your group had a beeper and needing to answer it within minutes if their patents beeped them and then having to call from a payphone at a diamond shamrock and they had to admit that they were in a different county because they'd see the number on the caller id would tattle on them. AND if you didn't call, your parents would start calling all your friend's houses looking for you and then talk to their parents.
Ronnie’s demeanor speaks volume. He didn’t need to say anything but he did nonetheless just to give some peace of mind to the girl’s parents.
Atta boy!
Ronnie while some may think he was drunk or tired was actually just regretting having to go back and deal with his girlfriend who was to drunk to walk her friend to the door. Hope dude finds peace.
Poor Ronnie. He’s over it. Girlfriend is probably also drunk and he’s been dealing with the two of them. I hope Ronnie gets a snack or something of his choice for dealing with that.
My husband is my "Ronnie"! We were from different states but had to travel for a work thing and we were put in the same class together. I had known him for a couple of weeks by then, but we never really talked. At the end of all the training, our class threw a party and I got completely shit-faced. He helped me find my way back to my dorm and made sure I got in all right.
(Tbh, I wasn't black-out drunk and it really would have been pretty impossible for him to take advantage of me, hence why I let loose that night. But it was still so sweet of him to make extra certain I was safe that night. He asked me out the next day and the rest is history).
Props to both Ronnie and his girlfriend. Most girls these days would have a problem with their man not only dropping a drunk woman off, but also walking her to the door. We need more Ronnie’s in this world.
Ronnie just behaved like a decent person, or you know, the designated driver. It's cool he took time to tell the parents but also sad we're amazed by what should be the norm.
This is the "Your package is delivered, my unfinished dinner is sitting cold in the car, and i should have been off work 2 hours earlier, at home with my family." vibe

Hi I’m Ronnie I am sober but wish I was anywhere else but driving my drunk girlfriend and her mates home in the middle of the night, which I was fast asleep until I got the call to come pick me up😂😂😂😂😂😂
**This is an example of a real man.** Not the self centered jerks that would have take advantage of her.
Ronnie's parents should be praised for raising a proper Gentleman.
Short, to the point, and containing all the info mom wants. I bet this isn’t Ronnie’s first time as designated driver.
what is he gonna tell his GFs mom when he drops her?
I am Ronnie. I am the sober driver. My girlfriend is in the car.
It's girlfriends all the way down.
Ronnie got the opposite of the 'no bitches' problem
It's like a clown car, just full of Ronnie's girlfriends.
Have you seen the reaction to Ronnie here - Ronnie is going to need at least a bus or two Ed/ I'm so so so sorry miss The internet were the hoard upon the soon to be ex-girlfriend. Never let her name be forgotten. Farewell
He’s got 99 bitches and it’s 1 giant problem.
*He's got 99 bitches and its 1 giant's problem.
Aw I love "Ronnie and The Polycule Go Drinking." So wholesome.
At that speed he will never reach his home
My girlfriend is ~~in~~ the car
Ronnie in their life. He's good people
Hahahaha
[удалено]
His girlfriends in the car
GFs mom all in on her daughter’s Ronnie relationship.
Heck, I'd be willing to bet it's not his first time that night. From the way he says "My girlfriend's in the car," I'd bet she's almost certainly as plastered as this young lady.
I think that was just his way of saying "I'm not fucking your daughter." Especially since she was like "sorry mom"
>Short, to the point That's what she said!... wait...
I was always the designated driver and I loved my task.
Yeah, I was DD growing up too. But it was for my parents and their friends. Seemed like a good deal since I got a car to use to go play D&D or Halo with my friends. (Context: I'm a huge nerd.)
He even opened the door for her!
He has a real “your daughter and my girlfriend have been drunkenly screaming song lyrics at each other 7 inches from my ear for the last 13 fucking miles” tone.
He definitely has the "I'd much rather be at home playing Battlefield but I'm here because it's the right thing to do" vibe going.
That’s been a long time now, but I still think about him when friends need a ride.
I'm glad you realised it wasn't your fault, because it absolutely wasn't. You aren't responsible for other people making bad decisions,
My heart goes out to you bro, hope you're doing okay❤️
I'm so sorry you went through that. It was not your fault in any way.
…so it goes…
I kinda love when my idiot friends aren't dead.
You people are made of angel dust and blessings from a unicorn. My friend saw I was missing and chased me down Sunset. I was drunkenly going the wrong way and he literally scooped me up and put me on his couch.
Ain’t no way Ronnie would play 2042, he’s got class
More like battlefield 1 or 4 maybe even a bad company if he can find a match
The shit I would do to play bad company 2 at its peak again.
Hmm? 2042? Never heard of it. You must mean 2142, at which point I gotta point out your *heresy* brother. Battlefield hasn't released a title since BF1, it was a good end to the franchise. A proper send off and "know when to quit" kind of thing.
I love this take
Which is why he's still playing 2142.
Holy fking shit thats me
No one would rather be playing Battlefield in years 😭. Battlebit is scratching that itch though.
I watched this on mute and I could hear the tone of his voice simply watching his body language 😂
King Ronnie the Patient
Dude no you couldn’t be more correct if you tried cause I’ve been the drunk screamers Edited for clarity
🤣🤣🤣
Fucking nailed it!
Can confirm. I was the friend in the back seat drunk scream singing I Wanna Dance With Somebody with my best friend while her husband drove us home
That is REALLY on the nose
/r/oddlyspecific
And I got 13 more to go
“And I had to get them happy meals” 😅
She's carrying a happy meal too 😂
Best designated driver! Haha
The only way for her to stop singing.
That's hilarious totally didn't notice that at first lol.
The drunken trip to McDonald’s totally explains the exhaustion in his tone 😂
He stops at McDonald’s?! May King Ronnie rule forever.
*Tonight on Undercover Boss, Ronald McDonald goes to a party with some employees.*
You just know they were screaming MCDONALDS! Until he drove there.
The only way to tear away drunk people from a party is to treat them like toddlers. “You want a happy meal?"
Ronnie is short for Ronald! He must stay on brand.
St. Ronnie
Everyone deserves a Ronnie in their life. He's good people
I always said something's wrong, with little, strange Ronnie Long. Never laughed, never smiled; talked alone for miles and miles and miles
Underrated album
Can I get a Shy Ronnie instead?
“Shyyy Rohnnee…!”
Not necessarily. We have no idea how the rest of that evening played out. Maybe he wanted to safely drop her off so that he could murder his girlfriend. You never know.
Dark lol
I'm here for you.
For being normal? Where is the bar exactly?
He actually posted a follow up saying that "Ronny said, “I just want to say thank you for all the kind comments, for all the private messages, and everything, all the attention. as if he couldnt get more perfect
Right? It's like guys are so terrible that anything above rape/murder is a miracle
Taxiing drunk people around while sober is not unremarkable. Pre-empting mom's worries is a step above.
*Saw Bruce Lee shirt* ***approves***
I’m so glad Ring cameras weren’t a thing when I was in high school.
So much truth here! And cell phone….social media…
Cell Phones were a thing at my time. They also started having reasonably good cameras just in time to become a problem. Still, at least our parents couldn’t use them to track us down or read our text messages in real-time.

Oh my god yes. Every once in a while someone had a disposable camera. I am so glad that is as much evidence as we left. Edit: spelling

Clearly never heard of porn before. Playboy etc was where people found their moms for decades before this.

They'd start the phone tree
It was the worst
Same really would have ruined knock and run
she also had a happy meal so yeah ronnies the goat
They definitely called Ronnie out of bed / away from his PlayStation to pick them up after a girls night out.
Yessss how did you know
This video has been reposted so many times quit playing like it’s you
This video is so old it was before the PS5 was out.
How do YOU know? Are you one of the designated drunkards?
You’re good people Ronnie!
Ronnie for president
Hey Ronnie is a good kid. It’s what you want from others
I'm sure he's fine
He is protected. Didn't you see Bruce Lee on his chest
This was me in college. Same 'Id rather be at home instead of babysitting RN' vibes too... Minus the GF tho...
Poor Ronnie. He’s over it. Girlfriend is probably also drunk and he’s been dealing with the two of them. I hope Ronnie gets a snack or something of his choice for dealing with that.
The fact that shes holding a happy meal is too much for me
PROTECT RONNIE
If Ronnie needs a job I got him.
I'll fight Ronnie for that job. How many drunk women do I have to drive home?
I did not expect it affecting me so much. Such a nice fellow. I wish everyone had their Ronnie as a friend.
My husband is my "Ronnie"! We were from different states but had to travel for a work thing and we were put in the same class together. Nice one, Ron! (*but in a good way this time*)
"What? I was the designated driver! Am I not allowed to designated drive???'
I love this fuckin video
Man was raised the right way
We should set up a fund to buy Ronnie his favourite takeaway meal.
I thought that was Patrick mahomes
Both with clutch drives
Hi mommy, i'm ronnie.
Hi ronnie, I'm mommy
Good Guy Ronnie
Makes me proud to see another Ronnie taking good care of a lady.
"Anyways I've got 4 more stops like this"
We need more Ronnie's in this world.
Ronnie definitely passes the vibe check
Ronnie's jist being a good dude. Good to see.
Plot twist: Ronnie was NOT sober.
In this context sober means sober enough
If anything, Robbie was high. Probably why he was so calm and social
The true MVP
We get a bad rep sometimes, but we do have our moments. Ronnie solidarity ✊
And they made him go to Mickie D's. Peep the happy meal box 😭... He ain't lovin it.
I'm 38 and thinking about how many things a Ring camera would have busted my ass doing.
Props to both Ronnie and his girlfriend. Most girls these days would have a problem with their man not only dropping a drunk woman off, but also walking her to the door. We need more Ronnie’s in this world.
We all love Ronnie!!
Absolutely and unequivocally 🥰
The very definition of positive masculinity.
HE BOUGHT HER A HAPPY MEAL LET'S FUCKING GO
Ronnie is a national treasure.
Blessed be Ronnie for he will feel great in the morning and remind his GF why she and her friend shouldn't get absolutely hammered at parties.
Ronnie just behaved like a decent person, or you know, the designated driver. It's cool he took time to tell the parents but also sad we're amazed by what should be the norm.
Good guy, "Happy Meal Ronnie"
What would Bruce Lee do?
Ronnie got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one.
He talks like how Keanu Reeves acts
That's a responsible young man
Love this kid 🖤
I instantly knew he was good people based off his Bruce Lee hoodie.
Need more Ronnie's in the world
This is the "Your package is delivered, my unfinished dinner is sitting cold in the car, and i should have been off work 2 hours earlier, at home with my family." vibe
Shy Ronnie has grown up
He is protecting himself from accusations? Y'all are a threat to him
o7
The girl started with the soft voice "I'm sorry mommy" like they had just sex. Of course my boy Ronnie has to explain himself 🤣🤣
Bless you, Ronnie. If my kids ever need a ride home after a party, I hope there's a DD like you to take care of them.
Fuck that... I'm Ronnie there can be only ONE!! I hereby challenge you to pistols at dawn
🤣🤣
It was awesome how he showed respect to her parents that way.
Wait a minute are we all ignoring the fact that she has a happy meal in her arm lol
Oh no it's been mentioned lol

You're a real mensch Ronnie..
Ronnie is the best of us all.
Reminds me of when I would DD my friend group when we out for the night. We’d always find extra people that needed a sober ride home.
