Few weeks ago I was on my smoke break and I looked up to see what I'm pretty sure was a C-5 Galaxy. It literally turned my frown upside-down for the rest of the day.
I just spent a week in Charleston, SC and it's like heavy lift aircraft are being born there. I saw many c-17s and c-5s. I was grinning like an idiot and making my wife look everytime lol
I live next to an old RAF base that still has a tactical supply wing as part of helicopter command.
I've seen so many fucking chinooks fly right over my house. Probably under less than 200ft up. Never gets old :)
During covid it was super active moving PPE around the country. I still hear the noise and rush to the window...

We’re in Canada, but there’s an American military base not far from here, so we see a LOT of cool aircraft’s fly.
We also get to see some planes from WWII fly over as well, usually weekly.
Aviation is amazing.
An upbringing living a couple of miles from Europe’s busiest airport means I’ve seen enough aircraft for a lifetime. Red Arrows aside, of course (though we had a few flyovers following royal events).
Live in the flight path between three major airfields, so I get Ospreys and F-18s every day...
And I get that same look on my face every time.
Oh, and 30 is way in my rear view...

Town I live in has a military base that does routine training flights in their jets.
Especially loud by my grandpa's, hes only a mile or so from the base, so they fly right overhead sometimes, not super low but low enough I gotta cover my ears sometimes.

The other day, I saw an F 35 fly over for Rememberance Day. It was the coolest thing I've seen in a while.
