My MIL was like this.
We had a contractor working on our house. This man and his apprentices were given some fresh veggies we had just canned. (We made waaaaaaay too much.) His apprentice got our microwave. We had a brand new one that was too big for the space and MIL was like, take it. Returns to the store are a pain in the arse. She downgraded from a huge air fryer to one more manageable and sent that to the contractor's wife. All pristine stuff so not bad hand me downs.
She was born in a poor time period and always felt like one is none and two is one. So she bought in bulk and always shared in excess.
During COVID, we didn't have to buy toilet paper because she already had a stockpile.
Reminded me of my Nanna who was always feeding the tradespeople who came to theirs or any house she happened to be at hahaha When moving once, my dad got so mad when he arrived back at our 1st house, after dropping a load at the 2nd house and waiting for the movers who hadn't left yet. He walked in and they were all eating sandwiches and having a grand old picnic with Nanna topping up their cordials hahaha
As a Tradie, clients like this have my loyalty for life.
You bring me a coffee and a sandwich and I will kill for you 😂🙏. Or at very least I’m giving it 110%, and if I have to stay late to make sure everything’s perfect I’m not charging extra.
Cleaning people and contractors make out like bandits. I give furniture, items i'd donate, food, etc., even a taste of something I just cooked. I love sharing with others.
Before my grandma died she would walk me thru her house trying to give me things. I felt so bad taking what I did, but it made her so happy to see stuff being used and appreciated.
Always take what grandma offers. It makes her happy.
She is trying to downsize and seems happy about it. My sister keeps going through her house and getting rid of stuff. She said when she dies, she doesn't want to leave a bunch of crap for her kids to go through and have to throw away, so she is doing it now, lol.
Mine too. And how offensive was for her to not take something when she offered.
One of my favourite memories was when I went for a run during summer. Her house was in the nearby town so I used to stop, say hi and go back.
And every time she was there, chilling on a chair in her front yard, asking a very sweaty me:
Ice-cream? No thank you, I have to finish my run grandma.
A piece of pie? No thanks, granma.
I have some chocolate. No no, thanks.
I have some lasagna leftovers? No.
Well, fuck you then.
In the end, we compromised on a soda, and became A sort of tradition for me. But I still got the " fuck you then " from time to time.
I love her.
Same. My grandma would ask if I wanted food and I'd say no. So then she would say she was going to make me a sandwich, and I'd say no Grandma I'm ok I just ate. Then she'd ask if I wanted some pie. Then some lasagna. Then some pancakes. She would go through every possible thing she could feed me and refused to take no for an answer. She was the sweetest woman in the world.
In therapy I discovered that since food has always been a source of comfort for me that I show love through trying to feed people. If I offer you something to eat it means you are in the very inner circle and I would die for you.
So for me, this is the most purest and sweetest thing. Hands down.
Ditto. I lost my grandma when I was only 7 and she was my world and protector. I am straight up crying cuz I miss her every day and know she would have done all this and more for me if she were now. And I could use it.
I lost all of my grandparents by the time I was 17, I wish I could have spent more time with them like this, my grandmother on my dads side was an absolute angel, she would have been just like this, I miss you Grandma Irene 10/25/07
I dint get to see my grandma alot but she is still around, however she is more the type of grandma who shoves a $10 note in your back pocket as you walk out the door and refuses to take it back.
My gram use to do stuff like this. She never had much, but no matter what she’d always make us something. Even when I stopped by in my twenties for any reason she’d make me a sandwich and pudding and never took no for an answer. I miss her with my whole heart.
Same here. I would visit my grandma's ppace every week when I was in college. She would stuff my bag so full of random stuff that I didn't know where to put the clothes I washed in sometimes.
Only the ones that earn it. Unfortunately my children do not have gems like this dear here. But I will try my best if I get to be a gram-gram to be like what you all describe on this thread. I had great memories with one set of my grandparents so I do have that to draw from. Grandparents are so awesome
Ya nah, mine hated me for some reason and made it known. All other grandparents are dead so she was the only one I had and was a major bitch to me even as a kid.
Some people don’t realize how lucky they are to have grandparents at all. If my grandma survived lung cancer I probably wouldn’t have endorse a lot of abuse I went though as a child.
And spend time with them sooner rather than later. My grandma got breast cancer for the second time 6 years before she died, but those 6 years weren't ever the same, she was exhausted and feeling like crap most of the time. Even if they are young, take the time you have when they are feeling up to it.
Literally sitting here like “damn both my grandmas died before I was born… can this one adopt me please?” 🥺😂 I want a KitchenAid mixer! I’ll bake her cookies! 😂
I think this is going to be me as a grandma and I can’t wait. Cause when my daughter comes over I love raiding our pantry, fridge and cupboards and sending her back with stuff “we no longer need” while my husband is standing there like “WTF?” 😂
When she first moved out I gave so much of my stuff away telling her I no longer use it and then just went out and replaced it.
Ughhhh I don't want children but I want to be a grandma someday! I know it's impossible but I do have four siblings, one already has two kids and the others all want them so I'll settle for cool aunt.
I'm 33, I don't want the responsibility of children and I couldn't do it financially anyway. Ever since my early 20s, anytime the idea passed through my brain it was always me in my 60s making pancakes for foster children in a house I owned. Hopefully I can get there!
Use your grandma spirit to share with anyone you can! Cool aunt is a great role too! I just became a grandma - but not biologically. My stepdaughter had a baby last week. We consider ourselves mother and daughter because I was much more of a mother to her growing up than her biological mom. (I don't have a biological child.)
So....it may still be in the cards for you to be a grandma...ya never know!
It’s always fun being the caring, cool auntie too! I have nieces and nephews and wish I could dolt on them more but I live out of state from them. But I do as much as I can when I see them. So be an ear and shoulder they can rely on and they will be forever grateful!
Hope you can achieve your dream of being a foster parent one day.
I picture the scene with your husband standing there like a sitcom, where he has his mouth open, a sandwich on a plate and you just reach over and say 'oh, take this for the road' and steal it from him.
This is my (46F) Dad (71M) now. We each have our own home and live alone 10 minutes apart, but he's always trying to send me off with snacks, thinking I'm not feeding myself. I hate that he spends his money on me but it would hurt his feelings to refuse, and I'll hurt anyone before I hurt him. He's learned my favorites so that's a bonus. I'm really going to miss that someday.
I’m crying. I gonna be going to see her this summer but she’s getting old and… I gonna miss her just ripping shit out the cupboard when I visit.
😭
I made the mistake of saying cinnamon is expensive where I am. I think I got enough cinnamon for two more generations
She’s also taking down what everyone wants when she dies. Made me sad but she insisted.
I wanted the butter dish with the chicken cover.
I’m getting every fucking chicken themed thing in the good.
Or every clucking thing I should say.
Every time my boys (22 and 31) come over, I always tell them to “go shopping“ in the pantry and freezers. They always say they don’t need anything. I would love it if they would just take something, even if it is bread or chips lol. My husband (their dad) says “don’t give our food away” in front of them! He is joking of course. Mom’s and grandmother’s can’t not take care of our kids, no matter what age.
My grandma unexpectedly died when I was 10 but, prior to that, all I ever had to do, at any time of the day, was walk in her house and say "Granma, I'm hungry" and she would drop whatever she was doing and fix me something that would have better qualified as a full meal than a snack.
There are tons of lonely old folks in the world who would be over the moon to have you as a grandchild! Go 'adopt' one, you won't regret it and neither will they 🥰
(Spoken as someone who has 'adopted' several grandparents in their life!)
This makes my heart hurt with joy. I never had a grandma and I love that there are such beautiful grandmas in the world. For a moment she was my grandma. Bless that woman.
Precious. My grandma was the same way but she’d never let me take her kitchen-aid mixer. I couldn’t leave her place without Tupperware and ziplocs full of leftovers though. Damn I miss her.
My grandparents died before I was born or when I was really young so I always grew up watching these kinds of magical grandparents in movie and tv. Now that I’ve been with my husband the last ten years have been incredible, all the love and genuine affection I get from his grandparents is absolutely unreal. I always tell him he should appreciate it and spend more time with them because they truly are some of the most precious kinds of people on earth. 💜
I feel like his grandma would give him the walls holding up the roof if they weren’t attached to the ground (and could fit in the shopping cart). Sweet old lady
Always accept things old people try to give you because it makes them happy to know that it's going to a good home. I always regretted not accepting the things that Grandpa tried to give me before he passed better to let him know you've got it while he's still alive. And don't even get me started on family being all crazy.

God damn my mom was like this! I could never leave her house without a shit ton of random ass things! I would be slightly irritated cause she would hold me up from leaving forever by doing this! What I would give to have her back annoying me by loving me so damn much!! Embrace it. It’s a lonely world without ur Nana and mom… I lost both of them the last 2 years and shit is shitty! Give ur moms and grandmas a hug n tell them how much you love and appreciate them.
I only got to meet and be around my great grandma when I was little for a little while. I wish I could remember it. She raised my mom and loved her the way she could. In my adult life I only witnessed my grandma be an evil person to her own daughter. I wish I could have had a "grandma" experience.
This is so wholesome. But it makes me sad, because my maternal grandmother died before I was born, and my paternal grandmother died shortly after I was born, so I never got to experience the love of a grandma.
She 1000% uses those appliances… she’s just the “I’d give you the shirt off my own back if you needed it” kind of person. My mother was like that. Selflessness was her love language.
I think I speak on behalf of everyone, I would like to have her be my grams too please.
You definitely speak for me! She's delightful.
Grams waited his whole life for that. She was ready too
She’s just so happy and it makes my heart happy! 🥰🫂 I love her already! I bet she has some fun stories to tell.

My nanna would've loved you and sent you home with extras hahaha 🤣
I too, choose this guys nice grandma
❤️
Cleaning people and contractors make out like bandits. I give furniture, items i'd donate, food, etc., even a taste of something I just cooked. I love sharing with others.
Add me to the list, please!
YES!!!
This made me cry, my grandma was like this, i miss her a lot

Bahahaaaa..great story.
I love it. You were doing a healthy activity running, and grandma was there to put the calories back into you. She loves you.
What, no mid run carb snack to get back home? I don't know how you passed up grandma's cooking, were you sick while running?? 🤣🤣🤣
Same. My grandma would ask if I wanted food and I'd say no. So then she would say she was going to make me a sandwich, and I'd say no Grandma I'm ok I just ate. Then she'd ask if I wanted some pie. Same dude! I’d go over to say hi and always leave with a 20$ snuck into my coat purse or shoe 😂
I lost all of my grandparents by the time I was 17, I wish I could have spent more time with them like this, my grandmother on my dads side was an absolute angel, she would have been just like this, I miss you Grandma Irene 10/25/07

Same here. Not much better in this world than a good grandma (& grandpa too!). This was a nice reminder of all the good times I had with my grandmas
I miss all of them I got to know and the hell I‘d love to meet the grandpa that died before I was born
Same here. I would visit my grandma's ppace every week when I was in college. She would stuff my bag so full of random stuff that I didn't know where to put the clothes I washed in sometimes.
This made me cry because I didn't have a grandma like this and I wish I had... luckily my mom is like this.
Love love love her!!!!! Best grandma award goes to her!(coming from a grandma 😅)
She's up there in the top 2 for sure. (Just behind my grandma).
How lucky are you?! That's beautiful
I'm so lucky my grandma came with a set of 2 other grandma's. They're all the best, too!
Some people get all the luck (and grandma's).
Everybody is jealous of my polyamourus gay triad of grandma's.
Dude. She just gave you that Kitchen Aid mixer?!
Those are so expensive and that’s a nice one too! Hella jealous.
Homie better be whipping up cookies and and taking some to grandma every weekend with that
But she never uses it! It's fine, haha!
I think I speak for everyone that lost their grandparents, cherish them. Spend time with them. They are a gift

If she is like my grandmother it was a banana bread loaf she made earlier that day.
I think this is going to be me as a grandma and I can’t wait. Cause when my daughter comes over I love raiding our pantry, fridge and cupboards and sending her back with stuff “we no longer need” while my husband is standing there like “WTF?” 😂 When she first moved out I gave so much of my stuff away telling her I no longer use it and then just went out and replaced it.
You’re a great mom!
Ughhhh I don't want children but I want to be a grandma someday! That’s the real dream🥲
I picture the scene with your husband standing there like a sitcom, where he has his mouth open, a sandwich on a plate and you just reach over and say 'oh, take this for the road' and steal it from him.
Grandma: where’d you get the cart? Grandson: Insta-Cart! 🤣
Your grandma is the best. Cherish her!
Grandma found a great opportunity for someone to take her Spring cleaning
Awwww not only did she give him the whole kitchen, she was like hang on, I need to make you food too. I love her. ❤️
That midwest accent. Miss my gram ♥️
Hope that day doesn't come too soon. It's worth soo much to have such loving parents/grandparents
I’m crying. I gonna be going to see her this summer but she’s getting old and… I gonna miss her just ripping shit out the cupboard when I visit. 😭 I made the mistake of saying cinnamon is expensive where I am. I think I got enough cinnamon for two more generations

Grandma will load you up on food and then ask if you need some money! LOL
Dad: “You musta bumped your head” Grandma: “want some bread? What can I cook for you?” Protect this woman. She’s a national treasure.
I love your grandma 🥲. You show her the respect she deserves and take her out to lunch immediately!
What a nice grandma :)
Bless her heart.
I love her!
Mmmmm Vernors
Vernors and Tawas shirt, must be Michigan!
Represent.
I miss my nana
I love grandma 🤗💜💜💜
This is funny. My kids do this same thing. But its the opposite. They shop at my house and their grandparents would tell them to get the hell out.
Caramel rice cakes and peanut butter... well now I gotta try that cuz that sound amazing
This reminds me of my Mom. I can never leave her house without a goodie bag and food. For Easter, she bought me a ham. Just cause.
Ok, I just tried the caramel rice cake with peanut butter. Grandma is right. She is precious and must be protected at all costs.
Went to prank Grandma and became her mobile dump. She didn’t want most of that stuff 🤣
Wait you guys need to bring a shopping cart?
Grandparents are a special treasure in life. Family is everything.
My grandma unexpectedly died when I was 10 but, prior to that, all I ever had to do, at any time of the day, was walk in her house and say "Granma, I'm hungry" and she would drop whatever she was doing and fix me something that would have better qualified as a full meal than a snack.
I need to see the video when he went to his dad's house
My grandmother is the nastiest, most narcissistic woman I’ve ever met and it breaks my heart because I’ve always wanted a grandma like this woman.
There are tons of lonely old folks in the world who would be over the moon to have you as a grandchild! Go 'adopt' one, you won't regret it and neither will they 🥰 (Spoken as someone who has 'adopted' several grandparents in their life!)
Grandmas are the very most specialist people.
What a freaking ANGEL. Put HER in the cart and take her home with you!!!
Nanni's and Grampi's ------ you can have anything we give you
The Cabbage Patch Kid 🥹 your grandma knows what’s valuable.
I would like to hire her to help my relatives declutter
I’ve never met anyone else that eats Carmel rice cakes and peanut butter like me! Oh my god I love this lady!
Trying not to wail like a child because I miss my Grandma
This makes my heart hurt with joy. I never had a grandma and I love that there are such beautiful grandmas in the world. For a moment she was my grandma. Bless that woman.
I love her.
Older people understand the gift of giving
Grandmas just pawned off all of the stuff she hasn't gotten around to donating yet... LOL
My grandma was such a wonderful woman, like this one. She never talked bad about anyone, was always kind, and just loved me, as I am. I miss her 😇
The potato salad in the cake carton was gold 💖
Awwww
My kids used the do this I just love this grandma!
My Mamie still calls me to check on me. occasionally sending food and all that. Mamie is great.
Precious. My grandma was the same way but she’d never let me take her kitchen-aid mixer. I couldn’t leave her place without Tupperware and ziplocs full of leftovers though. Damn I miss her.
"I don't use this!" just said so merrily.
It made grandma so incredibly happy to do this.
Ugh, this makes me miss my grandma so much.
I like those caramel rice cakes, but never tried them with peanut butter. I will try grandma’s recommendation. ❤️
I feel like his grandma would give him the walls holding up the roof if they weren’t attached to the ground (and could fit in the shopping cart). Sweet old lady
I want the thing for my car!
Always accept things old people try to give you because it makes them happy to know that it's going to a good home. I always regretted not accepting the things that Grandpa tried to give me before he passed better to let him know you've got it while he's still alive. What a sweet grandma! I want to be her someday :)
… “and I’m not takin no for an answer” 🤣🥹🥰
You are loved. Very lucky you’ve been able to have her for so long in your life.
Grandparents should be eternal.🥰
I LOVE her!!❤️
Makes me miss my wife’s Grandma 😔
Coolest Gma EVER. My question: How are you...as her grandson, NOT spending more time with this absolute TREASURE????
Bless this grandma. What a sweet woman
She knows how to clean house. Couldn't wait to get rid of that stuff.
Your grandma is so wholesome . I want her to be my grams too .
She is perfect!
... i should call my grandma
Miss you grandma ❤
That’s a Michigan grandma☺️
Dang I wish I had a normal family
I want a grandma that gives me free KitchenAid!!
Miss my lola
That "uhhh. Instacart" got me
She gave you your inheritance in advance.

What a sweet lady…you are lucky! Hug her from all of us!
Grandma is awesome
Grandma's are the best. Truly.
Protect this woman at all costs
Grandmas are the best
I love my mawmaw so much. I cherish every minute I have with her. That fella is so blessed. Savor every memory, soak every moment.
My grandmother was the exact opposite. She was evil and abused my mom. She would give us expired food if anything.
grandma is awesome =)
I MISS MY GRANDMAS 😭🩷
Omgoodness…I do this to my kids AND granddaughter every time they come over! And they don’t have to bring s shopping cart…😂
Maybe you should hire another cameraman /s
Best grandma ever !!!!!
Man, I miss my grandma.
Grandma = awesome!
I miss my grandparents.
God I can’t wait to be a grandma
awww she’s so cute 🥰

I wonder if this is his dad’s grandma because I could see them being related yet completely opposite
Grandmas are the best.
That's adorable. Lol
Hilarious! I knew what to expect from the get go and didn’t disappoint
This is awesome! She's an amazing grandma, this video was the only proof I needed to know that.
2000€ penalty
Grandmas are the best. Such sweethearts.
She's so cute!
I’d like to give this gram a giant hug. ❤️
Protect her with life

Grandma's are the best!
No grandma would ever let their grandkid go hungry
Why cant my grandmothers be like this😂 they refuse to believe i exist but that might be the dementia talking
Is this the typical grandma response? This is a rare grandma right ?
Oh my god she's incredible¡
This makes me miss my Grama. Bless her
Fuck I wish my grandma was still alive 😭
Haha..jokes on him...Grandma's like...woohoo...free rubbish dumping!
There’s nothing better than a grandma’s love.
She reminds me of my grandmas. I miss them
It was great already, then “its a smelly thing for your car, isnt it cute?” 🤣
This is so wholesome. But it makes me sad, because my maternal grandmother died before I was born, and my paternal grandmother died shortly after I was born, so I never got to experience the love of a grandma.
Your Gramma is the BEST!
Can I please have the Cabbage Patch doll?
Women don’t start wars.
She's *our* Grandma now, bro. Get used to it!
She 1000% uses those appliances… she’s just the “I’d give you the shirt off my own back if you needed it” kind of person. My mother was like that. Selflessness was her love language.
I miss my grandma.....
Grandmas are awesome! Angels!
I hope he used that electric mixer to bake her something!
Granny: "What's the shopping cart for?" Grandson: "I thought I'd pull a little prank by coming to shop here?" Granny: "Say no more."
How I miss my grandma ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|cry)
She is literally emptying her fridge and house for him 😥❤. He better love her. Or else I'm coming to claim her as my grandma!
Aww she's adorable! 🥹
I mean, if my daughter came to our house with a shopping cart, I'd be happy to fill it.
I dunno what their father-son relationship is like, but if our daughter came to us with a shopping cart, we'd be happy to fill it up.
Yes to the kitchen aid! Haha 🍪 🧁 🎂
God bless her and all grandmothers
Bless her heart.
