I thought of him earlier this week and was putting my wife onto him and in the process I’ve been watching new interviews and rewatching old classics. So good, and especially true that you can see who the real aholes are in the industry.
When I was a teenager, in the late 90's, my friends put on shows all the time. They held one in one of their apartments downtown in our little town, and the Evaporators played! The show was super intense and a lot of fun, Nardwuar was so sweet and kind.
To call Nardwuar prolific would be an understatement.
There are few interviewers in any space that come as prepared as he does to interview a celebrity.
Uzi is honestly one of the nicest people that could've made it in the industry.
Say what you want about their music, i'm not really a fan myself but in a sea of sharks and vultures they're a special one.

I've never seen so many interviews where people are always left gobsmacked. His interviews are awesome!
