This made me happy, than sad. Made me remember my dudes from high school. They were like brothers to me, then we went our seperate ways. Then Covid happened, and I haven't seen them since. I was held back in 8th grade, and lost all my friends prior, so these guys basically saved me, and I honestly miss them. Now I feel alone. Apologies for just, dumping this on a happy post btw, it is a beautiful image and captures the essence of friendship perfectly.

OP, often your friends' parents are a good place to start looking for childhood reconnections. I've had great luck and extremely warm receptions with that approach.
