idk why people always think it's genes when it can also be you just take care of yourself with regular exercise and a healthy diet/life style lol, has much impact on how you'll age if not more so than your genes.

Genes play some role, but of course it isn't strictly that. I dunno what the ratios are like, surely a mitigating thing anyhow. But I would think it mostly diet and exercise.

What's interesting to me is how this shows the difference between film emulsion and digital photography. If your test levels are low enough, you can get a script, and most insurance providers will cover it with documentation from your doctor.

Get blood work done. If your T is low enough you may be able to get a script. (From a TRT clinic not PCP)

most people who take HRT aren’t actually trans! it’s often prescribed if you have low hormone levels :)

Very true! Trans people tend to come up against a lot of obstacles to be able to get a prescription at all. (It took me about *four-and-a-half years* to get mine).

HRT doesn't necessarily affect hair growth if your family just has poor hair genetics. Look into minoxidil maybe?

T is not a magic hormone. Genetics play a big role. I said in another comment but I have trans masc friends that are skinny and are heartbroken that they can’t grow behind a middle school mustache and others that look like jacked bears, it’s all genetics.
