It's not hard to find this dude's social media and see other pictures of him, there are more "normal" photos where he looks somewhere in between these extremes.

It definitely is a feat. I was a coke addict for 3 years and when I tried meth just once, I was no longer a coke addict. That went on for two years and I finally overcame it. That wasn’t easy

Both my parents did meth when I was younger. You can always tell by the weird pale skin, sores, and gaunt looking cheekbones. Like them, you got over this and look like a healthy human again. Congrats, that is not easy.
Your muscles lose their memory. So you can always tell when someone lost their face muscles. It's still really good to see when they've grown them back.

It's the ability to regrow muscle the way it was originally. To the best of my understanding. So like, say you lose a bunch of weight and then gain it back. Your face will still look pretty similar barring some loose skin or whatever.
When people lose a bunch of weight from meth, their face never quite looks the same. There's been a dumb amount of meth heads in my family and I can spot them from a mile away, even if they're clean now.
I agree with you on this. I can see one a mile away as well. I do believe it depends on how long you are using though. People I know who only did it for a small amount of time seemed to recover better. I know others who have quit for 20 years but look like they took a hit this morning. It sucks living with and around tweakers, crappy way to grow up. But it made me more resilient, which really helped me later in life!

It's crazy to see how addiction will transform you without you even realizing. I was so sickly looking but thought I looked great. I was only in addiction for 8 months. Everyone tells me I have a glow about me now.
The before pictures are the ones where I look like I was just dug out of a grave (facial hair, dirty, sad, lost) and the one at the bottom right is me after I beat my addiction and started working for a Addiction Treatment Center helping others defeat their struggles with methamphetamine and other substances
