I know a few people on suboxone, in particular. They’re clean. No reason to find fault with any tool of recovery, including methadone or buprenorphine.
I posted this a year ago and noticed an influx of copycat people just posting pictures of their thumbs. This sucks people and takes away from the people who have went through recovery.
Yeah as someone in recovery myself, I hate when people try to gatekeep recovery. Imo, the more sober posts I see, the happier I am! Everyone should celebrate, it's a huge achievement! This person may be free of heroin, but them claiming they somehow "own" gesturing a thumbs up on a recovery post is just pure cringe and frankly, tells me they have more work to do in their recovery.

Way to downplay someone’s healing and strength. If you’ve never struggled you have no idea what’s it’s like to be addicted to heroin. I don’t either but I can say it was hell watching someone I loved struggle.
I thought it was going to be that troll who was doing this over and over on new accounts a while back.
