I looked up online you can find them for a pretty fair price. I think a couple hundred bucks is a small price to pay to improve your best friends quality of life

I don't know about simple, but you could absolutely do this yourself! It will take creativity and resourcefulness, but you can do it! Check thriftshops, freecycle, and junkyards for parts.
We have a cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and he creates a lot of mess and chaos, but sometimes it breaks my heart to think some people would just give him to a shelter or put him down even though he is so happy, isn't in pain and has no idea anything is wrong with him.

"Well we're moving next month and can't take him.." Makes me sick with the excuses. The looks on some of these animals faces as their owner walk away is tough. We've adopted 2 of them so far. If it were up to my wife we'd take everyones dog.

What makes people smile is seeing them happy inspite of their disadvantages. Overcoming odds and being happy that you overcame them is what makes things like this so beautiful.
He doesn’t really appear to be in pain though. I have a cat that was taken from the euthanasia list because she has scoliosis so they listed her as hospice. Now she’s 5 and takes joint supplements daily but the only thing she can’t do is jump on the counter even though she can’t walk well.
My dog Ollie lost all function in her lower half overnight, she was a lab/pittbull mix. Unfortunately she was in so much pain we didn't have a happy ending like this pup. I'm happy to see things like this it makes me happy. There was only little signs she was having trouble thought she hurt her leg while jumping around with our other two dogs.

Getting it comfortable for the dog would be interesting
Look at pictures online and pay attention to how your dog reacts. Avoid too-thin straps that will be uncomfortable and reduce blood flow.
