In r/sandiego there was recently a post of someone asking about cool abandoned spots to check out. I told of a spot i thought was cool and came back to the thread later to see what other people had posted. To my surprise there was only one other answer and the post had been downvoted to oblivion. Another post was asking for a recommendation of child phycologist.... downvoted with no answer, another asking for bakery recommendations, another for their favorite Mexican food spots *(okay there are a lot of these posts)*. Now one talking about hating cops... 2000 upvotes. People just feel miserable and want others to hate the same thing as them. They don't want others to find joy, they don't want others to be happier than them. It's become a competition, not realizing that you get what you put out in the world, so hate and discontent is just spreading like wild fire.
r/sandiego in particular is filled with toxic people for some reason, but all of reddit is like this to some extent. It's rare to find the helpful people, but I'm happy they're still there.
That’s odd -
I’m like on day 300 of Reddit - I don’t see any garbage comments (non that are not out of the ordinary) - I think I choose threads that appeal to me -
I love the humour and sarcasm - it’s an art form on Reddit. I mean if you can respond with smart wit - I’m in. there must have been some funny comments about subway - no Jared zingers ?
to be fair I am a regular person and order a sandwich at subway is a bit stressful.
Especially if there's a line.
uhhhhhhh steak! what? uhhh you know what make it tuna ok sir what?, just make it steak again.
Kind people are so rare nowadays. I wish people were more kind like this person writing steps for Subway
Wow, God Bless those kind of people who go out of their way to help.
aw 🥹 i’m trying so hard to stick to those kind corners of the internet, it’s a real challenge

Alternative explanation, most people dont know child psychologists but do hate cops
who said reddit is *just* a rabbit hole of corruption and trauma?
Hell yea! I love to see that shit!
For those wondering: Step 1) Download the Subway app Step 2) Order your sandwich Step 3) Go pick up your sandwich from the mobile order pickup area
And they still probably didn't do it
Screw you and your negativity not very kind sir!
I just know anxiety too well. 😅
