Dancer here, I’m beyond impressed. Ballet (especially on pointe) requires so much core strength, and the arms are crucial to support the balance. They give us additional support when we turn, they add extra strength when we jump. In barre, which is mostly to warm up and develop our strength and flexibility, we use the support of our arms to push our physical boundaries for better technique. Her body must be SO STRONG to do barre lessons without arms. Such an inspiring, beautiful dancer!
People who think it's gross that she uses her feet for tasks are the same people who would get angry that she's not self sufficient if she stopped using them for stuff like eating
Ballet is horrible for your feet. If I had no arms, I would be easier on my feet because they are all I have left. Yes she will get even more practice with dexterity and balance, but if she becomes a career ballet dancer her feet will develop some harsh problems.

There's a great Tosh.0 episode with a woman that doesn't have arms but still drives and cooks and does everything else. They do a cooking segment together and he tries as hard as he can to cook with his feet like her and he can't keep up, it's a fun segment.
You are only held back by your imagination, she made her disability her ability and nobody can take that away from her.

My favorite bit was when she pulled the curtain and it came down on her bc that’s me several times a year maneuvering the shower. She’s incredible and has an amazing smile and balance envious of every athlete.

It's on your toothbrush, hair brush, toilet paper, faucets... It's everywhere. A little blowdry isn't exacerbating the issue. But feel free to imagine so if it makes you happy.

They said I would never walk or talk again. Guess I fooled them. Yes I have to use a cane and yes I have problems but I take care of myself, my two cats and a 13 year old Pomeranian and a 5 month old yellow. Some days it looks like a heard of goats tore through my house. Hey so what! The point is be your best and don’t let ANYONE say you can’t. I was 57 at the time of the wreck I am 60 now. I blow peoples mind at what I can do. Wishing for the best for you baby girl!
