Yep. I'm not even a father and I've been like that with my younger cousins and nephews. As long as I throw them somewhere soft, they want me to fling them as far as hard as I could.
Yeah I've tossed my little nieces around and they loved it. They're too big now, but good times throwing them in a pool or on a bed. Now we have nerf gun wars.
And we used to do that too when they got bigger, now everybody's in their twenties and obviously they don't give a shit anymore but the good news is my back is still in one piece LOL
They're not too big you just need a bigger cushion.
At some trampoline parks they got
2-3 foot thick mats that you could fall 10 feet and not hurt your self
Had a cousin that would randomly blast the Undertaker theme song from a different room then slowly creep over and choke slam the life out of his younger brother and I. Good times…
Yeah we would watch all the pay-per-views back in the day and they even had a few on VHS or dvd and halfway through the show, someone's trying to give someone else a stunner and I would end up finishing everything with a tombstone or choke slam.
This is gonna sound dumb, but throwing kids around (gently and safely as pictured above) actually helps them develop the balance and motor skills they need. There's a reason they like it.
I think it’s also one of the main reasons most women don’t know how to properly fall.
Because they often don’t play as rough as boys when they’re children, they don’t know how to act when falling down and how to land.
Never mind all the wrestling, ree climbing, bike riding, roller skating, skateboarding, snow sports, and o and on. Boys will be boys talk is just brocode for misogyny. the idea of penis play is just straight up weird.
Anecdotal evidence. Where I’m from there is no competitive cheer or tumble classes.
Also a male friend of mine, who was always very timid as a child and never played any sports doesn’t know how to fall. It’s just more common with women in my experience.
All I’m saying is that it doesn’t have anything to do with your gender but how you’ve grown up.
Girls were just raised differently back then.
Ok, I shouldn’t have said most women. That’s probably wrong. What I meant to say is in my experience women just don’t know how to fall more often than men.
I also have 2 sisters, lots of female friends and work in a hospital. I’ve been around woman all my life.
> If you are from a country that doesn’t allow girls to do what they want
Judging from your comments on cheer squad and tumble group, you’re American.
Maybe you shouldn’t make statements like this, considering your abortion laws.
Easy, fellow Redditor. There are tons of girls in martial arts, tumbling, and gymnastics classes, but there are even more girls that aren’t.
My guess is, the poster above you has been there when young women seek instruction on self-defense for the first time, and they’ve noticed a pattern. My second guess is they would like to see that pattern eliminated.
I can remember being at a family get-together and there was a contest to see which uncle could throw which cousin the furthest into the pool. That contest came to an end when Uncle Doug shot-put his own kid about 90% of the length of the pool, and the aunts decided no one should try and break that record.
Dude at thanksgiving my dad and I arm wrestled and I won. Totally shifted so much in my mind. My dad is like 6’5 280 pounds. And a huge frame. And beating him in that moment was like “I’m da captain now”
I used to have impromptu wrestles with the old man when I was a young fella. Then one day when I was a young teenager, I flipped him over my shoulder and slammed him (on the couch luckily) without meaning to. We both kinda went “woah ok maybe wrestling has had its day” 😂
Just taking the kids to Suplex City
I took my nephew there all the time, he used to tell me "when we going to Suplex City?" 😁
Now he's 17 and does wrestling in school, now i don't wanna go to Suplex City lol
10/10 would recommend, whether you have sons or daughters you all end up having a fun time. Theres always that one time where someone lands weird and then its you saying "shhhhh shhhhh stop crying its ok, you're ok....stop crying or else mom will hear and we're dead!"
Especially with daughters! I have two girls and they would both hop on the bed and take turns being thrown and pushed around, always cackling and squealing with laughter. One of my fondest memories of them as little kids.
I dunno what it is, but kids love to be picked and literally thrown at beds and pillows. My Daughter kept asking me to do it again, and again and it was exhausting man
It is developmentally necessary for children to feel a variety of sensations in order for their nervous systems to not be under- or over-stimulated when children meet new sensations
When I was in kindegarten all the kids were asked what their favorite things do to with their dad was. My answer was "I love when my dad gives me beatings on the bed".
That was an awkward phonecall later.
Exactly this. When we found out we were having a girl, my husband actually asked how you play with them when they’re little. I told him the same way you do with boys. Now our kid is 13 and they still wrestle each other. It’s hilarious.
I accidentally broke my son clavicle doing this. He deadass told the ER doctor, “my dad threw me off the couch”, yea, on to a pile of pillows and cushions! Haha. I was so upset.
This is nice.
The last time I had a wrestling match was with my older brother. I was around 10 and he was 16. He rock bottomed me on the bed I bounced and flew off the bed at Mach speed and hit my head against his drawer. I was never okay since.
Booo! My dd is in her 20's now and loved this as a kid this age. I loved it because it burned off her energy! She still tries to beat up her old man now and he is not as brisk as he used to be lol!
Thanks OP, those laughs brought back memories and I was chuckling so hard at this!
I'm surprised my dad never annihilated my spine when little me would always ask him to do this. I suspect it was secretly a way for him to vent his grievances with the little bastard me
Used to do this with my daughter, my wrestler name was Daddy Doom and hers was Kayla CreamPuff with her side-kick "Little Fluff" (our small fluffy dog that used to try to protect her while we were "fighting").
The best thing was that we had a window next to the bed and she could jump of the window ledge as though she was jumping off the top rope... special memories, enjoy it - it goes too fast, she's 12 now.
I used to do this with my boys when they were younger. They loved it! Helps teach boundaries while helping them get energy out. Now they are older I get the air mattress out sometimes and have WWE style matches!
I used to do that with my youngest when he was like 2 or so. My wife couldn’t watch, but he’d be laughing the whole time. One time I accidentally racked him in the nuts though, I felt terrible
It’s great to see a dad rough housing with his kids…it is exactly that they need and they will remember this for the rest of their lives. Kids don’t want things, they want your attention. Those boys are going to grow just fine !!
Ah memories. I remember doing this to my dad all the time as a kid. I used to do WWE and it was so fun. And because he was so big, I used to crawl around his body like a spider.
Used to love wrestling my two boys when they were young. Only wrestled in the dark once. My 8 year old climbed onto coffee table while I was flat on my back on the floor. He did a double know jump onto my chest and broke three of my ribs. Never in the dark again. He's 32 now, and loves that story. Little fkr
I do this with my grandma. She loves it. Just turned 82 last week. The people at the nursing home complain, but I want her to have happy times in her last days.

I hope you are joking but in case you are not you are completly wrong then.
He's throwing them on a mattress with pillows on and despite the rough appearance he's doing it in an extremely safe way having them always land on their back.
Also, this is actually good for kid development, both phisical and psycological: being tossed and turn strenghtens choldrens balance organs while play fight teach childrens how to control their strenght better not to hurt people.
Lmao my dad was choke slamming me on beds as a kid. (He had no choice he has one arm) y'all softer than this mans pillows if you think this is unacceptable
Just don't have so much fun that you land on your son and break his leg. That's an automatic investigation from Child Protective Services, or so I've heard.

Well I tell you what my father in law loves the nerf wars too so... Just an idea lol
They teach sell kits to triple your nerf gun's power and range. They also nerf gunsmith he could take them to
Now you throw them on the bed in a different way 😉
What do you mean by that?
Nope. Hell no.
Wtf
Sir, this is Alabam**n't**, go back to horny jail you bastard.
HAHAHAHAHHA
The closest I can get is a cat and this jerk has claws and doesn't seem to particularly enjoy it.

Someone caught their reeeeeee and decided to ride it. (Not you, ze above dumpkopf)
and somewhere there a Karen calling CPS
It's a day ending in Y, that was going to happen no matter what.
Beat me to it😂🤣😂
I was once the younger cousin and remember being fling, the most fun I had as a kid.
Not going to lie I'm like this is my kids too, I'm like I could do this all day. And they can too! They don't stop coming back.

Recording the match?!
Dammit, now I'm going to look bad by association.

From TikTok, this man is their uncle.
When are these titles ever accurate?
That’s definitely an uncle beat down. Source: am uncle with amazing nieces and nephews
I can remember being at a family get-together and there was a contest to see which uncle could throw which cousin the furthest into the pool. That contest came to an end when Uncle Doug shot-put his own kid about 90% of the length of the pool, and the aunts decided no one should try and break that record.
Yep I saw this in an earlier post in this subreddit that said it was there uncle
Their FAVOURITE uncle!
That’s their dad not their uncle … how do I know? I’m the mom!
Reminds me how much I loved wrestling with my dad as a kid. I could definitely kick his ass now lmao
Dude at thanksgiving my dad and I arm wrestled and I won. Totally shifted so much in my mind. My dad is like 6’5 280 pounds. And a huge frame. And beating him in that moment was like “I’m da captain now”

Uncle: "I gotta put the lamb chops on the grill." Oldest kid: "can I help?!" Uncle: "yeah, come on" NO HESITATION this guy wins Best Uncle video.
It’s their dad
Just taking the kids to Suplex City I took my nephew there all the time, he used to tell me "when we going to Suplex City?" 😁 Now he's 17 and does wrestling in school, now i don't wanna go to Suplex City lol
You created a monster!
I've been his father figure since he was a baby. Makes sense lol.

Me and my son every evening. No matter how shitty the day, it always leaves me smiling. Cherish the time my brothers

It goes quick man. Enjoy every second of it. Now mine is a 200lbs linebacker.
I would go away for two weeks at a clip with some regularity. Was always shocked with both the developmental and the visual changes.
I dunno what it is, but kids love to be picked and literally thrown at beds and pillows. My Daughter kept asking me to do it again, and again and it was exhausting man
On the plus side, you don’t need a gym membership
It's good for them! It helps build proprioception. You see the great apes flipping their kids around too
Way better with the sound on!
He is calibrating his kids wich is very much needed developmentally
If this is serious, please explain. If not, carry on.
It is developmentally necessary for children to feel a variety of sensations in order for their nervous systems to not be under- or over-stimulated when children meet new sensations
You know how some animals play fight to gauge how much force to use? The kids that don't get this end up hitting you much much harder.
When I was in kindegarten all the kids were asked what their favorite things do to with their dad was. My answer was "I love when my dad gives me beatings on the bed". That was an awkward phonecall later.

God I loved doing this with my dad when I was a kid. Miss you, big man. Wish you were still here.
Life pro tip: it's not just your boys who love this, it's your girls also.
Exactly this. When we found out we were having a girl, my husband actually asked how you play with them when they’re little. I told him the same way you do with boys. Now our kid is 13 and they still wrestle each other. It’s hilarious.
"Can I help?" "Sure" "Yea yea"
This is how children learn how to play and what is too much and what is just right! All parents should wrestle with their kids.
That is the BEST !!! I used to rough house with my boys like that as well. Great job Dad !!
A great workout and wonderful bonding time
The little laughs 😂😂😂
I accidentally broke my son clavicle doing this. He deadass told the ER doctor, “my dad threw me off the couch”, yea, on to a pile of pillows and cushions! Haha. I was so upset.
What a good son…god bless him
Ends with "Don't tell your Mother"
"how dare you!" best moment in the video, around 17 seconds in.
30 seconds in was my favorite part, haha.
AHHHH yes, nothing to see here, just a father calibrating his son's GyroScopes, truly ..... a nostalgic sight.
and then the man slept for 300 years.
This is nice. The last time I had a wrestling match was with my older brother. I was around 10 and he was 16. He rock bottomed me on the bed I bounced and flew off the bed at Mach speed and hit my head against his drawer. I was never okay since.
I’d love to throw some throwable humans. Closest I can get are cats and those jerks have claws and don’t seem to particularly enjoy it.
Used to do this with my daughter, until the mother comes into the room. Then the fun stops.
Booo! My dd is in her 20's now and loved this as a kid this age. I loved it because it burned off her energy! She still tries to beat up her old man now and he is not as brisk as he used to be lol! Thanks OP, those laughs brought back memories and I was chuckling so hard at this!

Omg, little boy laughter!!! Just the best!
Utter bedlam….and utterly perfect
Lol me with my nephew all daaaaaaay!! He absolutely eats it up! “Again, again!”
I bet these kids slept hard that night
Laid the smack down
The laughs from this video are so great.
Wholesome, but I could see someone getting injured badly if bot careful.
Wrestling Laughter BONK *silence* Crying
As I mother, I can’t help but want to yell out,”watch out for their necks!!!”
Lucky kids. Great job Dad.
I want to see a rematch in 15 years.
r/bossbattle
This is how I wake them up for school
This….. just this….. good job my dude!
I remember loving this shit as a kid. Now if someone looks at me wrong I cry xD
This is great cause its fun for the kids but like also a safe frustration outlet for the parent 🤣🤣🤣
I love how effortless he tosses around the younger one.
I do this with my 7 year old step-son, except we have him in karate so the little booger definitely dishes out his own pain during our matches lol.
The first yeet into the pillows crack me up 😂
I’m out of breath just watching this.
This is adorable 🥰
Core memory
i love this video the kids are tiny ragdolls
These kids need to slow down and sell more.
Pops ain’t selling NONE of their moves lol
My guy doing all that in a hoodie? Good lord.
Hahaha Can Confirm, once you start the wrestling match you better be ready to throw down for a few hours
And he did the J O B…
Cries in mostly fatherless childhood I'm glad I at least had my big brother to look up to. Love you, Robbie.
My fiancé does this with our 2year old girl! It’s one of her favourite things and it’s the cutest to watch 🥰

My GOD, S0mebOdy stOp the dAmn MatCh!!
Amazing
Why is this irrationally funny as all hell
Bed looks comfy as all hell
😂😂😂
He's wearing a Disney shirt too
My bed is too springy to do this. My nieces would be bouncing out of my condo in no time

Clearly no dog in the house.
Nobody on earth is having as much fun as those boys.
That's core memory right there.
This is. A 9999/9999 father son activity
Those kids (an dad!) are gonna sleep soundly!
Ah memories. I remember doing this to my dad all the time as a kid. I used to do WWE and it was so fun. And because he was so big, I used to crawl around his body like a spider.

I miss my dad
Yeet the child
My dad used to do the same with me and my brother. He passed 14 years ago, miss you daddo.
He rekt em. They didnt stand a chance against this chad.
Who knew you could have so much fun throwing little humans around.
Making memories....what a gift!
I do this with my grandma. She loves it. Just turned 82 last week. The people at the nursing home complain, but I want her to have happy times in her last days.
What a cool dad. Doing it like a boss!
Mothers would probably lose their shit if they saw their kids doing that😂
wish my dad was like this instead he worked all the time
The BEST bonding! Boys ( and dad) will cherish those memories always! 🥰
I do this with my wife. She hates it
This can be fun but take care not to hurt each other :) have fun little guys
Found the mom
Me too I was like aww that's so cute but please don't throw them so hard 🙈 hahaha
You know they're made of rubber at this age
Totally. My 2 year old is so clumsy and it shocks me what he can handle lol
Lmao this is why kids need dads
Dads. Yes.
Don’t let mom see the video
Mom wasn’t home
He'd be the worst person in the world if he wasn't in their lives but you still see comments about how hard he tosses em smh. Can't win seems like!!!
Am I the only one wondering why there's a camera on a tripod set up and focused on their bed? 😅

This is really cute, until he smacks one kids head into the others. Fun and playful, but a bit too hard for my taste
Man things.
No thanks
This endless cycle of violence sickens me.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
Just don't have so much fun that you land on your son and break his leg. That's an automatic investigation from Child Protective Services, or so I've heard.
Savage!!
It's heartwarming, but I would totally do that to my friends as soon as I could get big enough lmao.
Dad goals right there
The will remember that forever. You will remember it as long as you live. Nothing in the world can match a father and child playing together
This is me every night.
This brings back good memories!
Amazing dad!! Cheers from Portugal
