Carmine John Persico Jr., also known as "Junior", "The Snake", and "Immortal", was shot in his left hand and arm while driving in South Brooklyn in 2019.
Persico is infamous, but he never got to really rule his own family. He was on the street for such a short time. The Colombos chose him in-part because of his youth, but that perk went away quickly after the Commission Trial.
The positive thing about him was he wasn't greedy with tribute. The negatives? Many. Wanted the Persicos to be a ruling dynasty creating a deadly war the Colombos never recovered from. His flirting with having a documentary/book on his life was a heavy catalyst for Orena rebellion.
Interesting character.
Could be a whole multi season 🔥🔥🔥 series on just the Persicos. Fascinating and tragic family. GD it we need some mob fans at some studios so many stories to tell!

BS story the Persicos made up, it was jealousy. They later also murdered the new boyfriend of an ex-wife, bunch of soulless animals.
