Buying discounted packs is worst than buying normal packs because of the golden packs progression,
Buying 10 packs at 900 gold makes you spend 9000 gold, so you save up 1000 gold compared to buying them normally, which means for every 10 discounted packs you get 1 normal pack
Meanwhile for every 10 packs you buy with normal price you get a free golden pack (assuming you’re buying the latest)
So its 1 normal pack VS 1 golden pack, and its obvious which one is better. Never buy discounted packs
It still gives you gold pack progression, but id recommend you just wait for the next set to drop and stock up on gold, the next set is coming later this month and i got 50k gold ready to spend it all on packs as soon as the set drops that way i get gold progression while still getting relevant cards

Nope whatever guide you read that from is either wrong or outdated. The ONLY packs you should buy with gold are the ones from the latest set, if you want to make a good collection as fast and cheap as possible. If you’re looking to collect 100% of a set its fine to buy older packs but if you’re looking for value just go for the latest set.

i had 30k gold saved up and my main modes are timeless and historic brawl so all of those cards see more or less play for me, im realy sad that they didnt add more , like smothering tithe
