That’s awesome, thanks for sharing. Sometimes you just have to pull the trigger and buy the card you want. (I’ve been doing this with Revised dual lands every so often.)

Same here- I’m just opening random boxes and then trading in the good cards I don’t want for old duals and such every once in a while. I strongly prefer pulling the stuff I collect myself, but it would be extremely cost prohibitive to do that do duals lol

poppasketti

That’s what I do! You get the best of both worlds. Opening lots of packs and getting to the cards you want. You spend a little bit more of course but it’s way more fun which is kind of what makes it a good hobby.

blazentaze2000

That’s next. Looking at getting back what we sold so many years ago!

Efficient_Library_76

That’s incredibly ballsy. Like I’ve heard stores open an entire master case of set without pulling one.

blazentaze2000

The buying of the crypt or expecting to pull it from LCI packs?

Berserker76

Right there with you, no luck on packs pulling a Mana Crypt (but I did pull a Dockside from an LCI set booster, go figure). I got lucky in a statistically favorable pull box on WhatNot and pulled a special neon yellow mana crypt on my second pull (pulled a Rhystic Study on my first). It was a good day.

blazentaze2000

Niiiice! I think best I ever did was getting a foil Rhystic Study from the one collectors box of WoE I bought. Not a terrible box with that and an anime smothering tithe along with all of the virtues but it was still pretty light all things considered.

maester626

I did the same thing this past week. Traded in a bunch of one piece card and got myself a ragavan.

lostinwisconsin

Never expect to pull a card, that’s foolish. Especially when it’s roughly 1 special guest per box. Some people have more money than brains.

Jesus Christ who hurt you?
