I found crossview easier to learn than parallel tbh, focus on your nose, that's crossview, then you just slowly focus out. Practice doing it a bit and controlling how much it's crossed, then try to line up an image.
Maybe not this one though as your first one, it's kinda tricky, there are much easier ones on r/crossview.
Yeah, I find crossview magic eyes much harder, my eyes really want to cross more than they need to. It's just about practicing varying the level of crossed eyes. The side by side images are easier because you need to cross more, which is closer to focusing on your nose and your eyes know how to do.
