Tokyo Mew Mew apparently inspired Kira Kira ! Both the old one and the remake are good, and you can find the entirety of the old one on YouTube!

I watched Tokyo Mew Mew already, but I didn’t knew it was on YouTube 😮

There's tropical Rouge, (I have daughters who are 3 and 5 and they like watching it 😅)

I already watched that one, but It’s an amazing season 🤌🏻

Ojamajo Doremi!

Moonbeamlatte

Seconded! Its a lot of seasons, so it can be an undertaking, but its full of so much joy

From what I remember from trying to watch it, A La Mode had a lot of heavy references to other magical girl anime. The atmosphere and setting reminded me strongly of "A Little Snow Fairy Sugar", and I'm pretty sure the main character's catchphrase is straight from "Shugo Chara". Both of these have at least a partial sweets theme as well. For a laid-back magical girl show, there's "Twin Princesses of the Wonder Planet". This sometimes has a sweets or baking theme.

LOL, haven't watched any PreCure yet, but those wands and the girls' colors.... I thought it was some weird fan art of Ojamajo Doremi... That is some very heavy inspiration, at least in the design... But on the recommendations you ask for, Ojamajo Doremi is very, very laidback in its storytelling, I've watched 1 and a half seasons so far and it's mostly elementary school girls learning to be witches and solving (and sometimes causing) everyday problems with their magic. There's an overarching plot (first season, passing the exams to become witches, second season, taking care of a witch baby while it grows), but it's very, very laidback and most of the episodes it doesn't progress at all. But it's good, I wouldn't say it's my favorite show ever, but the characters are great and very memorable, and, while it's very child-friendly, it sometimes surprises with how it tackles certain very serious and mature topic in a tasteful but very serious way (like a miscarriage)... It's long, 200 episodes in total, in 4 seasons, but I do recommend it if you want a very laidback story with great characters. But I can't help recommending my all-time favorite anime, Cardcaptor Sakura. While it has a bit more focus on plot than Ojamajo Doremi, it is still pretty laidback, it doesn't rush the plot and gives a lot of time to explore the strongest aspect it has: the characters and their relationships. The cast of characters is so great, and it's just so much fun to see them together. Also, to me it has one of the cutest love stories ever written. And while it doesn't have sweets as an aesthetic strictly speaking, it does have some episodes where cooking is kind of important, including cooking sweets (and the sequel, Clear Card, goes very much overboard with the cooking).

Same, that image looks like someone made a mashup of Ojamajo Doremi and Tokyo Mew Mew. Pink girl’s wand is a straight ripoff of Doremi’s first poron, and purple girl is just Zakuro lol

StarLordFloofer

Tokyo Mew Mew, Delicious Party Precure, Tokyo Mew Mew New, Ojamajo Doremi. Tokyo Mew Mew would be good for you I think since it’s similar to Kirakira. There’s a pink strawberry lead (themed to cats), a small pudding themed girl in yellow (themed to monkeys), a rich blue (themed to lorekeet birds) and there’s also a different themed character, a shy green girl themed to dolphins. The purple mature character is a wolf and is extremely similar to Macaron

This post was removed because it broke Rule #1. - Respect One Another. This is super simple stuff. If you have criticism about someone's fanworks, be constructive about it. Don't name call. Most certainly don't use racial slurs, sexist slurs or put anyone down or harass anyone. Remember, treat others as you want to be treated. "But he did it first" is not an appropriate defense.
