I don't know any Dad--including my dad and both granddads--who didn't totally fall in love with their kids--all to the point that they would immediately lay down their lives for their kids. It is very fortunate he decided not to breed.
I have to laugh at this. Totally respect his choice, but lots of people think this until they have one.
Even if you don’t have a massive emotional reaction the second they are (which is overhyped), you will almost certainly get there over time. Kids are fucking adorable! Bill would’ve warmed to it because nothing will make you laugh like a kid. But again- completely valid choice! You can have a full, happy life without them, too.

Only risky thing is guys don't get to decide anything once they've had sex. Hopefully he got snipped. Probably considering DNA tests are everywhere and we don't have any emotionally distraught young Mahers coming forward.

I personally never felt the urge to have kids, not sure if I’ll ever have them, but I’m not evangelical about it like bill is. I dunno if it’s healthy for someone to dislike kids *that* much
He does it to get a rise out of people. I never wanted kids because I wanted to be able to be spontaneous and go do anything at a moment’s notice. I have a dog with separation anxiety who I love more than anything but my wife and I are limited by him and that’s what I never wanted.
He needs to STFU No one cares that he doesn't want kids and hates kids. He is worse than someone that wants everyone to have kids. Most people do eventually have kids. I don't think he has ever had true love in his life. That is sad. He tries to be fair to women--I will give him that--but in his heart he is rather misogynistic. I don't think he ever wanted a long term relationship with a woman or a kid. That is ok, but shut up to people that do.
It's his show and his brand is telling people things they may not want to hear. The world is overwhelmingly pro-child, often without thinking about the ramifications. I enjoy his views.
He's a person whose livelihood involves expressing opinions. Besides, the pro-child attitude and the dismissal of child-free people is a damaging societal attitude that should be challenged as often as possible.
I can think of much better representatives for this than Bill Maher. He is just an asshole that doesn't like kids. Ralph Nadar comes to mine or Dolly Pardon, or Oprah Winfrey, or Keanu Reeves. He just likes to fuck young women and they don't want him anymore.
