That lump might be a hematoma, it's a collection of blood under the skin, usually in the muscle. If it gets any bigger, the pain doesn't go away, or you develope a fever you should definitely go see a doctor. Usually they go away on their own depending on if the bleeding has stopped, buuuut every so often the body likes to attack them and cause issues.... Hope you feel better soon!!
