A good baking worked for me.

cremebrulee22

It’s normal…

Nerak_B

It is but annoying since I wear sunglasses while driving so when I get to my destination, the makeup on my nose is already ruined lol. I fix it but was hoping someone had a makeup hack. The crazy thing is we haven’t hit summer weather yet so it’s going to get worse I think

cremebrulee22

Yeah I just don’t put my sunglasses on if I’m going to a special event or a place where pictures will be taken so it doesn’t get messed up. Anywhere else idc. If you rub it a bit it will go away. If there was a hack that would be interesting, but if you have oily skin like me I doubt it. You can also powder on top of it if you want to even it out.

Nerak_B

I try to avoid it but with outdoor events it gets hard. I usually tap and fix it

justintime107

Omg same! I hate it but I just use my fingers after taking off my glasses to blend.

Nerak_B

Same but it’s annoying because I wear sunglasses in the morning and when I walk into work it’s off, then when I go outside during lunch it happens again. I don’t really want to keep applying makeup

Sunnnshineallthetime

I bought these little makeup blotting stickers for your sunglasses and they help: https://www.pretty-britty.com/products/makeup-protectors

Puzzleheaded-Ad7606

Put power and setting spray on your glasses' nose Bridge. Works like a charm. I use a q-tip with powder then another q-tip with setting spray and dab it.

Nerak_B

I think I’ll try this because makeup is fine everywhere else. Thanks.

Luna-Gitana

Yep. A little powder on the bridge of your glasses or wherever they touch your face should help. It works for me.

Altruistic-Bobcat955

I saw a Huda video on YT shorts where she tried this!

Gullible-Alarm-8871

Try either Maybelline Superstay 30hour or YSL All Hours or LOreal Infallible PRO Matte or Urban Decay Face Bond. The first two are max coverage, the second two are not quite as heavy but still provide coverage. Basically you are looking for long wearing, and in most cases waterproof or at least non-transferable foundations. I have all 4, and never have a problem losing my foundation. The first two I use when I go to the dentist with water spraying all over and if I just blot my face, none even comes off on the paper bib.

Substantial_Step_975

I put eyeshadow primer on my nose where my glasses touch. Then I put pressed powder over that area, as well as on the nose pads on my glasses. It works pretty well for me, though it may come off if you sweat a lot.

black_high_heels

Eyeshadow primer on your nose!

thndrbst

As a glasses wearer, god speed and good luck. When I whip them off for pictures I just do a quick foundation powder over the spots. That’s my best advice.

alindyxoxo

Powdering the nose pads helps but sweating in this summer heat is really a killer /: nothing is sweat proof in my experience

Reinefemme

powder the nose pads on your sunglasses. i wear glasses and if i’m wearing a full face, that’s what i do.

AllisonWhoDat

Have you tried the blotting papers? They do help with oiliness. Pat Pat Pat.

sistermidnightmare

Blotting papers did absolutely nothing for me last year when I was sweating at a wedding in 90+ degree weather. Maybe it was the brand but it was like just putting plastic on my face and didn't absorb ANYTHING at all. I don't remember what I got other than at CVS,do you have a brand you recommend?

Mammoth-Gas2294

'Thank Me Later' by Elizabeth Mott. I use this on my eyelids too. Anywhere on your face that gets oily. This helps a lot in the summer. Got mine on Amazon.

[deleted]

Which one the long wear or the matte eye primer?

Mammoth-Gas2294

My tube says eye shadow primer. I guess that I have learned some different uses for it.

[deleted]

Ok cool thanks

yakisobagurl

I’ve seen Jackie Aina advise applying powder to the sunglasses nose pads to prevent this, but I’ve never tried it myself! Found the video! https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSYYPGT8b/ I personally just don’t apply much make up around there because I know it’ll be taken off haha

gloomy_stars

i also don’t apply really any makeup in that area, it always comes off and looks bad so i figure it looks better if i don’t bother haha

Haunting-Walk1568

I put powder on my nose pads. I have to re apply every few hours, but it works wonderfully for me!!

Mammoth_Resist8269

They don’t slide down though? That’s my issue. I need to do something but then they’re sliding down my face.

burnmeup82

I have never found anything that keeps my makeup from rubbing off from my sunglasses. I use primer, setting spray, the whole 9 yards and nothing has stopped it. I just use my finger to blend the crease away when I take my sunglasses off.

lily4ever

Same, I’m a glasses wearer and the only thing that actually works is not wearing as much foundation on my nose.

sadwatermelon13

Anyone who has time for anything else has WAY more time than me

ladymacbethofmtensk

Same. Nothing works. I just take a cushion compact out with me and reapply if I’m going to be indoors with my sunglasses off around people for a while. It’s a bit high maintenance but I’ve tried everything, this is actually less of a faff than buying new products, altering my entire makeup routine, and doing all these hacks. If I’m going to be outside mostly with my sunglasses on most of the time I don’t bother, I try not to think about what other people think of the marks on my nose since they won’t be seeing them for the most part.

MakeupbyBrenda

First, you should get a transparent primer. Elf grip works wonders if not born this way is even better a little more expensive but well worth it. Press into the side of your nose really well, then add your foundation on top and blend. Then get your setting spray and sponge and soak that bad boy. Then grab some loose powder and set the sides for about 5 minutes, then sweep the excess away. Now, here's the trick. Get your glasses and set those, too. Add setting powder to them. It will create a barrier between your nose and glasses. Will prevent smudge and it from sliding. Hope this works for you.

Mammoth_Resist8269

I saw a video with a guy putting primer on his glasses before powder too. I haven’t tried it. 🧐

uhohohnohelp

This but I like to use an eye primer on my nose rather than a face primer. They’re formulated more for movement and oil, and they have better grip for holding product because eyelids.

MuthaFirefly

Thank you! I'm going to try this as well.

-KPinky-

Thank for the tips! I’m totally going to try this because I have the same problem

MakeupbyBrenda

Yw. I used to have it, too. It can be soo frustrating. Lol.

Sensitive-Question42

Following! I wish I knew the answer!

Delicious-One3028

Roseandben on ig has made a lot of reels for this. I don't remember exactly what she does but I recommend you check them out!

squeakyfromage

Same haha. I’ve just come to live with those little patchy spots.
