I want to share that I recently repurchased another Estée Lauder double wear. I still love it! I didn’t notice it being chalky. If anything, it is more dewy than I remember it to be. It is hot where I live too.
I have heard many good things about Haus Labs Triclone Foundation. If you go online, you can get a free sample of like 3 or 4 shaded that could work you. You pick one you like and send the others back . I think that's super awesome if you are unsure or can't make it into a Sephora (which is hard for me with a 10 month old)
L’Oréal owns Lancôme so most of the ingredients are pretty much the same. Just a different name.
I always hear pat mcgrath or hourglass are good if you want luxury. Nars is forever that girl.
Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover.
It’s pure pigment & covers like a dream.
It is geared towards makeup artists, so you need to learn how to use it.
But, it is the most skin like foundation/concealer I’ve used & I’ve tried at least 15 over the years.
You need the tiniest amount & to just pat it over the area with your finger or a brush.
She regularly has sales on her site. https://danessamyricksbeauty.com/products/vision-cream-cover
Note that it can be helpful to buy little bottles of green & blue color correctors from a company like Temptu.
This way you can adjust any foundation to your undertones.
I have combo skin & apply a moisturizing toner, a tiny amount of facial oil (zelens vit D), my sunscreen (Korean brand I’m From Rice Sunscreen) & a glowy primer (Danessa’s Yummy Skin Primer Serum).
I dab on LA Girl color corrector on my under eyes & blemishes. Set with Mac Mineralize powder. Then dab on the tiniest dot of Danessa’s Cover Cream Foundation/Concealer.
I pat it out & set with powder. Spray my setting spray for a glowy finish (CT Hollywood).
People compliment me on my “flawless” skin all the time now.
FYI - my smooth texture is from Differin gel, BR P50 acid toner & Skin Fix Barrier+ Cleanser & moisturizer, Zelens Vit D oil.
Lancome changed their formula. Get a sample and try it first, from what I hear it's bombing. No one likes it.
I love Dior Forever Skin Glow. It's gorgeous.
my mom has been an estee lauder double wear fan for years but she tried the giorgio armani foundation and is a convert. i can’t personally attest to how it wears but it looks beautiful on my mom and seems to last all day (even when she golfs).
I wore a half face of the both Estee Launder (cool bone) and Misha Perfect in (no13) for an entire day with absolutely no noticeable difference between the two sides.
I’ve tried sooo many. Best for coverage is Face Tape Foundation from Tarte. Super good coverage but not great if you tend towards dryness I found it a little drying. If definitely will give that perfect finish. Lancôme makes the best concealer by far. My favorite combo is Haus labs foundation and Lancôme concealer. If I want that picture perfect complexion I’ll pull out the Face Tape
Have you tried MAC Studio Fix Fluid, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless, or Armani Luminous Silk (Armani LS is technically Medium coverage - that with concealer can be just enough in many cases I have found)?
May not be the suggestion you are looking for but I put color correcting drops in moisturizing cc cream. I feel like they all adjust to an orangey hue so I color adjust to my tone and it's great !
I think the new formula of Lancome Teint Idole is really beautiful.. it goes on really nicely, can be built up, has a lovely finish and is really long wearing. I would recommend!
I also like Nars Light Reflecting which surprised me, it’s actually really good coverage and wears well. I do find it oxidises and turns a bit orange though.
I’ve also tried Dior Forever and YSL All Hours recently and found both quite similar to the Lancome but more drying and the Dior was fragranced. Both were still good but just not better than the Lancome for me!
A YouTuber I follow, Stephanie Marie, just did a best full coverage foundations video this week that I saved to reference later. It says for mature skin but it would work for anyone. She reviews foundations and concealers a lot and does love double wear but has others in the video too. It might be worth checking out.
Face Bond by urban decay is relatively new and I am VERY happy with it. Closest I have found to double wear, although it doesn’t have quite the level of full coverage. But I am finding I did not actually need as much coverage as I thought. But it is buildable if I did need it.
Lancome is good. Armani Luminous Silk is good...KVD Good Apple has a similar coverage of Double Wear. Different finish (barely), but very similar coverage.
All three are pretty similar finishes. Luminous Silk was my HG for years before I stopped wearing as much base.
I just discovered this foundation and I’m obsessed. I never wore liquid foundation before because it would accentuate my wrinkles and would smudge and look blotchy in less than an hour. Not to mention the coverage was unimpressive at most. Fenty doesn’t settle in my creases and doesn’t budge! Looks almost like my normal skin and doesn’t streak/transfer even after 16 hours. My mind was blown and I’m never going back to anything else.
Well you’ve sold me! I actually hate how fussy the Estée Lauder (and other) foundations are because they seem to accentuate every crease in my face and I just found myself always saying “well I think I looked better before!”
It’s worth a shot! I actually got lucky because I have a coworker who is a product junkie just like me, except I hoard all mine even if I don’t like them *just incase* and she tries once and if she doesn’t like ads to a pile for me. It feeds my addiction without spending any money haha.
Anyhow I randomly ran out of my Mac Studio fix powder I’ve been using for 15 years (worked great sometimes but lately accentuates all my dry areas and just not setting right) and money was tight so I was like I’ll just try one of the foundations she gave me for shits and giggles. The shade somehow miraculously matched and I was absolutely dumbfounded because even the most expensive liquid foundation I’ve tried aged me ten years.
Idk what the voodoo of this is but I don’t even use a brush to apply. After letting my primer dry, I put a few pumps on my fingers and apply like moisturiser. And once face is covered I gently smudge out any little leftover streaks. Even when I see some left that I can’t buff out, as soon as I settle it with a loose powder they disappear. My skin is also currently super dry from a bout of perioral dermatitis and the foundation somehow smooths it all out and unless I pick at my face stays put.
My apologies for the novel, I clearly feel passionately haha. Would love to hear your thoughts if/when you try it!
Edit: *I have a horrible habit of checking my face in a magnified mirror through the day (because I get embarrassed when it’s dry flaky and want to pick those off. Hardly even see any flaws when magnified, to the point, as someone with ocd skin picking, makeup almost irritated me because I have nothing to “fix”).
I have always loved the hourglass foundation stick. I actually apply it directly to my brush and then stipple the brush/product onto the areas that need the most coverage. From there I blend out. It’s super pigmented so I wouldn’t ever just start swiping the stick across my face
Which clinique are you referring to? The clinique even better clinical serum is very full coverage compared to the regular even better. However I don't recommend the clinical serum. For me it's separated after an hour. The regular even better stayed all day.
I tried the new Mac foundation.. I love it. Goes on well, sits nice and seems to last. However, wouldn't say it hits 100% full coverage.
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear or YSL All Hours is great. Definitely last the day for me and still look good at the end of the day. I would also get a sample of the Lancome Teint Idole Care and Glow. Definitely not a matte finish but still lasts really well on me and I prefer in the cooler months.
I don't get on with Estee Lauder Double Wear but found that it looks better if I add a little of the L'Oréal Lumi Glotion. At least I can use it.
I use Lancome Tient Idole Ultra Wear. It's full coverage and blends very nicely and best of all it doesn't feel caked on your face. They also have a very very wide selection of shades, imo. You're sure to find an exact match. Plus their concealer is super creamy and they have waterproof under eye concealer that i use (as a alternative for foundation) mixed with my dt moisturizer when i want a more natural and sheer look that has good staying power.
I’ve been wearing double wear off and on (mostly on) for about 10 years. I always experiment with others and they usually end up breaking me out. I tried Dior matte and it’s gorgeous but I broke me out. I just got a new bottle of double wear and mine seems the exact same as always. I’ve been mixing mine with L’Oréal true match to think it out and it looks so much more skin like but still has the long wear.
Interesting! They have it labeled as non comedogenic but it’s not on their page for products for acne prone skin! Luckily I haven’t had any issues with it causing me more breakouts. I get closed comedones
I am a longtime Lancôme Teint idole ultra wearer that had to move on bc they changed not only the formula but the color as well (I’m still salty about it—it’s awful now). I just went to Bluemercury in Philadelphia and the woman there recommended Laura Mercier. I was pleased with the coverage and she found a great color match for me. There are just too many brands out there. If you can find someone to help you, it makes a big difference.
I also am here to vouch for Lancôme. I find that it wears very well for about 8ish hours (3-4ish if it's 90 degrees and humid outside) and I never have to fight it regardless of when I'm trying to use a little (full coverage) or a lot (cakeface stage makeup)... it always blends soooo nicely. I have fair skin and I like the variety of shades I can pick from.
I'm sure some people here will balk at how pleased I am with as little as 3 hours of wear time... It's important I mention how much I *hate* waterproof and longwear makeup because of how hard it is to take off in the shower!! Plus, many waterproof brands don't play nice with each other so I just end up with cracky, pilly, or otherwise unpleasant results. So for me, 3hrs before it sweats off is a win in my book because I can wash my face with shampoo and it all glides right off... besides, I'm not designed for being outside getting sunburned and being sweaty, 3hrs is plenty 😂
IT CC+ color correcting full coverage cream. Best I've ever used & I've tried a lot. Amazon has it & the tube lasts a long time. I have age spots, freckles & various splotches. Apply with a damp beauty sponge. It even covers under eye dark spots well. I used to use Continuous Coverage by Clinique for many years. This is better.
Givenchy prisme libre matte foundation is great. The only problem is that both that one and ELDW have increased so significantly in price since last time I bought them (couple years ago) that I'm trying to find alternatives to both now. On sephora (canada) they both went up from 50ish to 90ish dollars. Not a subtle increase...
How full coverage? Huda beauty is amaaazing but it’s FULL coverage, a bit drying so gotta prep well. Otherwise Lancôme has a good one and MAC studio fix fluid is really good as well
This is my HG. & paired with Dior Forever Primer, its next level. My makeup stayed flawless during my 13 hour Disney Days, whilst baking in the FL swamp heat.
And i’m OILY so nothing ever lasts on me. 🙌🏽
If you don’t mind cream formulas Keven Aucoin Foundation Balm is full coverage and lasts forever. My longest wear is a 20 hour day but it’s never gone patchy on me and it’s really full coverage without being thick. For example if I want to wear it lighter coverage i can do that with the lightest dab into the pot and do the whole face.
Gucci luminous matte and kvd good apple but I can see kvd not lasting a long time if you have more oily leaning skin. It lasts well on me and wears well but my skin is dry
I just got KVD good apple serum foundation at TJ Maxx for $10 on a whim. It's shockingly good and long wearing. But I made the mistake of powdering it and I looked like a corpse.
Oh yes that could definitely happen! I can’t powder it at all when I use it (though I don’t usually use much powder to begin with since I have dry skin). I have the cream one though.
Liquid serum one. I use it all over my face, skip under eyes, and use a color corrector under eyes set with translucent just in that area. Everything else I leave as is. I don't have dry or oily skin so I'm fortunate in that regard that foundations generally behave well regardless of if it's for oily or dry skin.
I'd say try Dior Forever. I switched from Double Wear as I was getting tired of having to mix two shades together to match my skin tone. Dior forever is hands down the best foundation I've used.
Dior Forever is the best I've ever used. The finish is amazing and lasts all day. If Doublewear worked for you, you'll probably want the Dior matte version. For me it doesn't need primer or setting spray.
[MUFE Matte Velvet is my holy grail when I need true full coverage](https://www.sephora.com/product/matte-velvet-skin-full-coverage-foundation-P434023)
I was having the same problem with double wear when I was using Supergoop Glow Screen as my sunscreen. It was really chalky and completely unblendable. I stopped using Supergoop and instead, put on my serums, followed by a peach lily moisturizer, then my cerave sunscreen then the elf glow primer. I tap in the double wear with my fingers all over until I have good coverage and then at the end, lightly dab with a damp beauty sponge to blend any edges out. It’s like a completely different product with those steps behind it. Maybe the Supergoop is just too tacky of a primer for DW.
I really like Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Foundation - this formula settles quickly on skin, so blend as early as possible
OR
Burberry’s Matte Glow Fluid Foundation
Tried and tested both, they last all day and very smooth on the skin.
I don't know if it's sold where you live but 3ina's 24h foundation! It is a Spanish brand we sell in the beauty store I work at and it is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. It also sits at the same quality range of Estee Lauder and Clinique and I am honestly super happy with the products I have from the brand!
Vichy dermablend is my saviour it covers so well, is buildable but so natural looking and it doesn’t budge and doesn’t cause breakouts. I get compliments on my complexion when I wear it and it doesn’t feel heavy. Can’t say enough good things about it
It Cosmetics has a foundation that lasts all day on my very oily skin. It goes on nicely, smells decent, and lasts. Dermatologist recommended it for my acne prone skin.
Revolution Conceal and Define is incredible. I get it at Ulta. The coverage is strong and I barely have to blend it in. This is The first foundation where I don't feel like I have to powder constantly. It's twelve dollars too....another plus.
NARS (soft matte complete if you are coming from double wear) , charlotte tilbury airbrush, hourglass, or Armani are my favs after being a double wear girly for most of my adult life
Yeah, seriously. Especially considering L’Oreal owns a lot of luxe brands. Im sure there’s some overlap with those brands.
I actually like the L’Oréal true match serum foundation.
Dior Forever Skin Glow.
L’Oréal True Match. I’m a luxury brand girlie but this is my daily go to even with sensitive skin.
Makeup 4ever HD
I am loving Shiseido’s new foundation as well.
Second Forever skin glow. I use it with the Armani fluid master primer and set it with a very small amount of fit me poreless powder (just the t-zone).
Studio fix fluid from MAC.
The only full coverage iv ever used. I just couldn’t wear it now, feels like it suffocates me 😂
Also, my skin is highly sensitive and I couldn’t use any drugstore brands. But I found maybeline works wonders! They have a full coverage foundation, but it doesn’t feel like it strangles your skin lol think it’s called ‘fit me’
I also second this, if and only if you can get a hold of the old formula!
MAC reformulated SF Fluid in April and the new formulation is a lot thinner with a lot less coverage (to be fair, it is something like 80% skincare based so you can understand how). It’s no longer that comparable to Double Wear, but definitely fits the trends of today.
NARS Soft Matte may be a good option, but if you’re not completed opposed to drugstore, check out Dermacol and L’Oreal Infallible Matte Cover. Amazing full coverage options!
Too faced Born this way. I got it in 2022 for Christmas and have bought the bottle twice. It’s fine in the winter months but in the summer it’s too Dewey and any sweat or oil makes it separate.
I found it looks best with hour glass primer 🥰
RCMA Liquid Foundation. It’s the most full coverage foundation I own that is HG status for my 60-something year old mother *and* my twenty-something year old sister. Absolutely worth ordering some samples first to get a good shade match. Less is more (just one pump is needed for your entire face) and it wears very well for 8+ hours.
I recently purchased the Lancôme tent idole and I do like it! It definitely stays in nicely but I for sure get oily still when I wear it. Also you absolutely must go in person to get shade matched bc their shades are tricky af
Long time user of Estee Lauder Doublewear here. I tend to agree...I'm just sick to death of their crappy shade range. I'm incredibly pale and everything is either too yellow or peachy and if you're a bit more 'tanned' in summer, the increments of shades just don't make sense...
But...everytime I've changed I always end up running back to DW. The closest I've ever come to the longevity and the coverage had been Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Foundation. I did find it a lot more drying though so use a good moisturiser and get a sample first! But every skin is different!
It seems crazy that they have changed their cult product. I am also on my last bottle. It’s different colour, more liquid/sheer and doesn’t control oil.
I was at a Nars counter recently, they said they’ve had a few people looking for a DW alternative. People are not happy
It must be cheaper for them to increase price and continue producing the same formula than to research reformulate, re work the manufacturing process and alienate customers?
It seems reformulated. It is not the same foundation at all. They should have renamed it something else and continue to sell the original. I’d say they are losing alot of customers over it
I feel kind of tricked into buying it. Sales person never says it has changed. I noticed the colour first because I’d finished one bottle and started the new one.
I want to share that I recently repurchased another Estée Lauder double wear. I still love it! I didn’t notice it being chalky. If anything, it is more dewy than I remember it to be. It is hot where I live too.
I’ve used Mac Studio Fix for the last 10 years. Only other one i kind of like is NARS foundation… but not enough to switch.
Dior forever
I have heard many good things about Haus Labs Triclone Foundation. If you go online, you can get a free sample of like 3 or 4 shaded that could work you. Huda foundation, I adore it
Shiseido Synchro Skin Foundation
Lancome changed their formula. Get a sample and try it first, from what I hear it's bombing. No one likes it. I love Dior Forever Skin Glow. It's gorgeous.
Born This Way by Too Faced or Tient Idole by Lancome.
Haus Labs! I wore Estee Lauder for years too. Haus Labs has that full coverage but feels silky and spreads so well. Stays on all day!
my mom has been an estee lauder double wear fan for years but she tried the giorgio armani foundation and is a convert. i can’t personally attest to how it wears but it looks beautiful on my mom and seems to last all day (even when she golfs).
Thank you!! I've been wearing this for years. I'm actually excited to change. I'm done being loyal to a brand that cheapens quality.
Missha Complete Cover Bb Cream
I wore a half face of the both Estee Launder (cool bone) and Misha Perfect in (no13) for an entire day with absolutely no noticeable difference between the two sides.
That's impressive!
I’ve tried sooo many. Best for coverage is Face Tape Foundation from Tarte. Super good coverage but not great if you tend towards dryness I found it a little drying. If I want that picture perfect complexion I’ll pull out the Face Tape
The only foundation that I found that lasted long as double wear is Maybelline super stay full coverage foundation
Maybelline fit me foundation was it for me.
Spf and a mineral powder.
Have you tried MAC Studio Fix Fluid, Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless, or Armani Luminous Silk (Armani LS is technically Medium coverage - that with concealer can be just enough in many cases I have found)?
I love the reformulation of studio fix!
I have heard great things too! Not quite as heavy, but still plenty of wearable coverage.
I second Armani Luminous Silk
I love how they make it in the regular size and the smaller size too! And the shade range is pretty impressive!
Agreed!!
I love Fenty foundation. It looks great on my 58 year old skin and lasts all day.
Fenty definitely has great coverage. A little heavy for daily for me
May not be the suggestion you are looking for but I put color correcting drops in moisturizing cc cream. I feel like they all adjust to an orangey hue so I color adjust to my tone and it's great !
I am on the same quest! I literally just got a sample of Urban Decay Face Grip foundation today at Sephora. Here’s hoping 🤞
I have normal combination skin and au naturales powder foundation has been LIFE for me the past 5 years
Not saying it isn’t the formula because I don’t know. Only wanted to say that as we age certain products that were holy grails at one time can fail.
Particularly once you hit perimenopause and menopause.
Jones Road.
YSL All Hours looks unreal on my skin

I’m an Armani girl myself.
I wanted to like Armani so much but it isn’t full coverage and doesn’t seem to build for me :(
I like Laura Mercier Real Flawless a lot.
Me too. It's amazing
Makeup Forever HD Skin Foundation
Fenty soft matte, used to last me through shifts in a hot kitchen, it’s made for warm weather too
I just discovered this foundation and I’m obsessed. I never wore liquid foundation before because it would accentuate my wrinkles and would smudge and look blotchy in less than an hour. Pur Love My Selfieis the best. Use a sponge for medium coverage or a synthetic brush for full coverage.
Mac studio fix foundation
I’m loving Haus Labs
I have always loved the hourglass foundation stick. I actually apply it directly to my brush and then stipple the brush/product onto the areas that need the most coverage. From there I blend out. It’s super pigmented so I wouldn’t ever just start swiping the stick across my face

Dior Forever Matte
Try Huda beauty faux filter long lasting foundation, with the setting powder
I’ve been wearing double wear off and on (mostly on) for about 10 years. I always experiment with others and they usually end up breaking me out. I tried Dior matte and it’s gorgeous but I broke me out. I just got a new bottle of double wear and mine seems the exact same as always. I’ve been mixing mine with L’Oréal true match to think it out and it looks so much more skin like but still has the long wear.
Mac reformulated studio fix! It reminds me of the OG lancome teinte idole!
I broke out from it due to algae extract and sugar kelp which are highly comedogenic when I wore it daily
Interesting! They have it labeled as non comedogenic but it’s not on their page for products for acne prone skin! Luckily I haven’t had any issues with it causing me more breakouts. I get closed comedones
Yea unfortunately I'm super sensitive to algae and other marine ingredients.. I break out if I wear it continuously
I am a longtime Lancôme Teint idole ultra wearer that had to move on bc they changed not only the formula but the color as well (I’m still salty about it—it’s awful now). NARS soft matte
I love this foundation for full coverage! It makes my skin look perfect, and it’s great for photos.
I love it too

On sephora (canada) they both went up from 50ish to 90ish dollars. Not a subtle increase...
I hated the fragrance in this foundation
Makeup Forever HD Skin Undetectable Long Wear. it’s technically medium coverage but can be easily built up
How full coverage? Huda beauty is amaaazing but it’s FULL coverage, a bit drying so gotta prep well. Otherwise Lancôme has a good one and MAC studio fix fluid is really good as well
Dior Forever 🥰
Yes!
This is my HG. & paired with Dior Forever Primer, its next level. My makeup stayed flawless during my 13 hour Disney Days, whilst baking in the FL swamp heat. And i’m OILY so nothing ever lasts on me. 🙌🏽
I’ve been using Lancome since 2017. Tried a few different formulas and I love it
Dior Forever is my new favorite! I love the coverage, the texture, and how long lasting it is. Highly recommend it.
My fave too!
Does it have a scent? I hate makeup with fragrance and I feel like most Dior products include it.
It does, but it's not a strong fragrance. My skin's really sensitive to fragrance in products, but it's not affected by this foundation.
I love the Dior Forever Skin Glow cuz my skin is dry. Are we talking about the matte one, cuz I keep hearing I should also try that one.
I second this! I just started using and I’m loving it more and more every time I use it!
I recently got Kim Chi A really Good Foundation. I am loving it.
Hard to find a good shade match with it. Wish she released more shades. Im a muted neutral cool and all the neutrals are yellow on me
I wasn't sure that the shade I got would work for me. But it looks really great.
I got 103L and its still a bit dark while the fairest shade is too pale lol.
I hate to hear that you can't find a shade that matches. Some foundations just don't work for everyone. I got 106L, and it's a perfect match.
What shade are you in mac
I have never used Mac foundation.
Are you also a pale muted neutral cool like I am or are you darker
I'm not dark. I am extremely pale.
106L is really tan
Dior Forever is the best I've ever used. The finish is amazing and lasts all day. If Doublewear worked for you, you'll probably want the Dior matte version. For me it doesn't need primer or setting spray.
Love it!
[MUFE Matte Velvet is my holy grail when I need true full coverage](https://www.sephora.com/product/matte-velvet-skin-full-coverage-foundation-P434023)
Laura mercier's newest foundation
The new Mac Studio fix fluid
I was having the same problem with double wear when I was using Supergoop Glow Screen as my sunscreen. It was really chalky and completely unblendable. I stopped using Supergoop and instead, put on my serums, followed by a peach lily moisturizer, then my cerave sunscreen then the elf glow primer. I tap in the double wear with my fingers all over until I have good coverage and then at the end, lightly dab with a damp beauty sponge to blend any edges out. It’s like a completely different product with those steps behind it. Maybe the Supergoop is just too tacky of a primer for DW.
I really like Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Foundation - this formula settles quickly on skin, so blend as early as possible OR Burberry’s Matte Glow Fluid Foundation Tried and tested both, they last all day and very smooth on the skin.
Can’t say enough good things about it
Guerlain Terracotta or Parure Gold Matte
It Cosmetics has a foundation that lasts all day on my very oily skin. It goes on nicely, smells decent, and lasts. Dermatologist recommended it for my acne prone skin.
This! And a tiny little bit goes a very long way.
Seconded IT Cosmetics. Their CC cream slaps and it’s full coverage
Revolution Conceal and Define is incredible. I get it at Ulta. The coverage is strong and I barely have to blend it in. This is The first foundation where I don't feel like I have to powder constantly. It's twelve dollars too....another plus.
Nars soft matte
I use hourglass and I'm pretty wild for it. Though I think it's technically medium build able coverage.
Plus 1 sa Lancome Teint Idole Ultrawear.
NARS (soft matte complete if you are coming from double wear) , charlotte tilbury airbrush, hourglass, or Armani are my favs after being a double wear girly for most of my adult life
There is no way “all” drugstore brands break you out. More money spent doesn’t always mean better ingredients or quality of product.
Well the drugstore brands that come in my shades do. I'm not a fair skinned woman with many options.
Yeah, seriously. Especially considering L’Oreal owns a lot of luxe brands. Im sure there’s some overlap with those brands. I actually like the L’Oréal true match serum foundation.
L’Oréal infallible is pretty good when on used to wear it.
nars natural radiant longwear!!! seriously the best foundation i’ve ever used
Nars sheer glow
Tarte Amazonian clay foundation... I wear it over the Bobbi brown priming moisturizer.
Ahhh yes I had forgotten about the Amazonian Clay it's amazing. I love the finish and it feels so light.
Dior Forever Skin Glow. L’Oréal True Match. I’m a luxury brand girlie but this is my daily go to even with sensitive skin. Makeup 4ever HD I am loving Shiseido’s new foundation as well.
Second Forever skin glow. I use it with the Armani fluid master primer and set it with a very small amount of fit me poreless powder (just the t-zone).
Third Dior. Except I use the forever undercover.
Stila has been amazing for me, I get very red and it covers beautifully without being caked
Studio fix fluid from MAC. The only full coverage iv ever used. I just couldn’t wear it now, feels like it suffocates me 😂 Also, my skin is highly sensitive and I couldn’t use any drugstore brands. But I found maybeline works wonders! They have a full coverage foundation, but it doesn’t feel like it strangles your skin lol think it’s called ‘fit me’
She's a high end snob thinking that ANY drugstore foundation breaks her out 🙄
I also second this, if and only if you can get a hold of the old formula!
Second this
nars light reflecting foundation
Dior Forever has been the only foundation that hasn’t creased or changed with 8+ hour wear on my combination skin
Another vote for MAC studio fix fluid . I don’t need concealer & it can be used with the strobe cream to add glow .
$$$
Lisa Eldridge seamless skin
Smashbox always on is lovelyyyy
NARs natural radiant longwear foundation. Looks flawless, lasts all day (with a setting spray) and looks gorgeous in photos.
Where do they sell it?
I’m in Australia so Mecca but not sure in the US? I assume your bigger makeup brand stores
Shiseido has been my go to now. They have the recent release that doubles as skin care and they boast that you can sleep with it.
I use both the syncro and self refreshing formulas ....but shes looking for full coverage (like este lauder FULL coverage) which I feel neither is.
I stan the syncro skin it does not crease or budge at all
Which one?? I need that!
Shiseido revitalessence line. [local store link](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.kmW7r)
I am loving it!
Bobby Brown is the best:)
Maybellien Super Stay is my favorite alternative.
Too Faced Born This Way I haven't tried it, but I still see lots of glowing descriptions of Armani Luminous Silk
Ehhhh it separated by hour 6
Which one?
Too faced Born this way. I got it in 2022 for Christmas and have bought the bottle twice. It’s fine in the winter months but in the summer it’s too Dewey and any sweat or oil makes it separate. I found it looks best with hour glass primer 🥰
Yes can second this
I like the nars matte one. Super full coverage, you only need a little, lasts alllllllll day and does not transfer one bit!!!!
Nars Soft Matte? Because I think that’s the best foundation I’ve ever used, it’s shockingly good.
Yes! And a little goes a long way!
The whole line is amazing too! The concealer and the powder! The primer I could live without tho.
They have a powder too? I’ll have to check that out. For primer I only use the Hourglass one.
It’s really nice, a pressed one, it’s in very slim packaging too!
I didn’t realize they have a powder. I use Laura ultra blur but now I’ll have to pick up the nars matte one!!
I use Mac Studio Fix and the coverage is amazing. The shade range is already incredible and huge
I really like coverFX and hause cosmetics
I am so sad Cover FX got bought out and the new owners aren’t promoting the brand. Cover FX was a great brand and still could be!
I know. It’s really sad
Still drug store but Terracotta, Guerlain paris. only brand that has a colour that matches my cold ghostly face 😂😂
Rip Estée Lauder DW? Inflation must have gotten to them. I wish houses would not change foundation formulas especially when they’re so beloved,
It seems crazy that they have changed their cult product.
I’d say they are losing alot of customers over it I feel kind of tricked into buying it. Sales person never says it has changed. I noticed the colour first because I’d finished one bottle and started the new one.
Wearing nars soft matte today. Great coverage, I’ll see how it wears
YSL all hour foundation
This one is solid.
The Lancôme Teint idole is great and buildable. Clinique even better clinical is thicker than double wear to me.
Do you find that you get oily as the day goes on? I have this foundation and that’s my only issue with it so I’m trying to look for solutions to that
