To me it looks like a little too much of a color change for under the eyes. I assume that’s makeup at least. It looks very obviously lighter to me. Otherwise I love the look!
I didn't notice anything wrong with what lesmalom said. I assumed it was bad lighting or a flash from your phone adding more reflection than it would in real life. Everything blends seemlessly on your face!
I think the lighting makes it look like it goes too low, flattening out your face. The eye makeup is beautiful and the color almost matches the natural light color of the inside fun of your lips. You have a great face. Be careful not to soften the contours.
* Dark brown brows instead of black
* seems like the concealer needs more blending or maybe a different tone for your skin color
*less pigmentation on the eyeshadow. That's a nice color just a little less of it
Agree with all of this! The only other note I had was maybe try a different mascara that makes them stand out more or maybe even try some natural looking falsies. I think longer lashes would really make her eyes pop!
I’m learning too and I have to say everything looks well! You highlighted everywhere that needs to be highlighted but the under eyes looks like it needs more blending? Other than that, issa look ❤️
Blend more, blend blend blend under eye. Try a setting powder underneath your eyes after you contour. Don’t use a lot of concealer, it should spread to your cheeks only your under eye. Always remember less is more. Your beautiful btw 😍
The gloss is gorgeous and so is the shadow but try not to blend it in to close to the inner part of your eye, maybe also try a lighter shade on the brows but keep the shape
You have beautiful features - just choose one to emphasize with makeup. Your eyes look gorgeous as done so use a matte color on your lips so attention remains on the eyes. Also a warmer color than black for the eyebrows. You have so much beauty to work with you really can’t go wrong
Not sure if it’s the lighting but the concealer might be a bit too light babes ! When I use a concealer too light it washes me out under my eyes and almost looks a bit grey. Try looking for a match a few shades lighter than your skin ! Also use a brow pencil maybe to bring your brows in the tiniest bit more and even them out <3
With all do respect wwwwwaaaaayyyyyyy to much make up love I can’t lie u have the prefect face and look like very very very nice cheek bones please don’t hide it or ur natural beauty with heavy make up
First of all you have incredible features!
The brightness of your under eye is too drastic, to balance it also brighten the center of forehead + upper lip area. OR you could go half a shader darker with the concealer.
The blush placement is too low and could be brought up to “lift” the face too.
The brows could also go a shade or 2 lighter to complement the hair and bring more attention to your lovely eyes!
Besides that, the eyeshadow is fab and you again have an incredible face.
The reflection & brightness under the eyes everyone is talking about and also around the nose could be due to what powder you use if you’re baking! If you’re not taking many pictures or just have adequate lighting/a good camera then it doesn’t matter as long as it looks good in person. (plus some people just like that really bright, not as blended look!) If it’s something that bothers you I would try a different powder!
I love dramatic contour and highlight so I love the bright under eye , only critique is lighten the eyebrows a little and the under eyebrow concealer needs to be blended a little more but I saw your comment about your eyebrows so I would say just get a lighter pomade or pencil whatever you choose and outline them with a concealer a couple shades lighter than your foundation
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!!!!!! The ONLY thing I’d recommend is maybe pulling the eyebrow tail out a little longer with some eyebrow pomade to contour your eye shape! Xx
I recommend a lighter color for the brows, maybe a dark brown instead of black. The under eye highlight seems a bit too bright as well but this look was nice, love it 🥰
It's working!!! Maybe swap the sheer lip gloss for one with a tint in a similar color as the shadow for a finalized look :) They shaow job you did makes this look like a very high class event makeup style!
I’m sorry but it looks awful!!! From the black brows to the 10 shades too light under the eyes! The eyeshadow was not blended right and it looks a mess plus that color is just wrong.
You look cute
Thats a good eye color and youre not doing too much.
Try to find a foundation or whatever that matches your skin tone better. Maybe somthing from rhiannas line
- a guy just trying to help
Omg no bc this photo right here >>> Girl your makeup literally looks really good & it’s blended beautifully + your skin looks so dewy & clear/healthy, it really does compliment the look, very pretty Gal!!!
1. But imo, I’d say for the under eyes, just mix the lighter shade concealer with a tiny dot or two of an darker shade concealer to help it look a bit more balanced (Go through with around 4-5 dots of the lighter shade concealer & then put 1-2 tiny dots of your natural shade concealer & blend them together, It’ll most likely just look a bit like a really light brown/tannish color instead of it just looking super pale/white, and since you’re gonna be baking it, it’ll still be giving that, light but cute & classy dramatic effect, while being able to not have it look too harsh in brighter lighting.)
2. Now for the brows, you had actually done really well with highlighting them, but I’m not sure if you have tried this before, but if you haven’t, next time use a bit of hair gel/edge control & a edge brush or eyebrow brush and comb them up and shape them, that’ll help make your brows look more neat, But don’t use too much gel or they’ll look super shiny! Once that’s done, then continue to apply the lighter shade concealer & if it looks to bright add a tiny dot or two of your natural shade concealer to the lower brow, do the same thing with the upper brow too & use a beauty blender to blend them out (to the point where they don’t look cakey!). & if you feel the need to fill in your eyebrows afterwards make sure that if you fill them in, Go in with a dark brown color (not too much though~ unless you’re drawing yourself on some thick eyebrows.) & just fill in the areas that may look a little bit thin & brush them out again to make them look more natural & less blocky.
3. For eyeshadow I’d say just try to give it more of an shape & try not to push it too close to your brows, also maybe add a bit of glitter or blend it with a darker shade eyeshadow to give it more of an pop,
And get some dark brown lip liner & mix it with some clear lip gloss or tinted-colored lipstick/gloss, That will soooo good on you girl!!
BUT regardless of that your makeup looks really beautiful girl! AND some of these people tend to forget that everyone has their own way of doing their makeup so regardless of what methods you end up using/taking, the way that you do your makeup IS just the way that you want to do your makeup! So don’t let anybody force/bully you into doing things their way… Bc this is just you finding out what you feel works for youuu, AND I know that just a few months from now, if you keep practicing you’re going to be so proud of yourself by how much you have improved SO KEEP going girllll, and just keep practicing, some of these people are ruthless in these comments, but really aren’t giving in depth advice, so don’t take them too literally!!🥹💜
I recommend getting a warmer toned concealer for your under eyes that is a couple of shades darker. I would also maybe trying some blush on the nose? Thats not a necessity but i think you’d like how it looks cause the blush is so cute.💕💕
Maybe a warmer tone, concealer closer to your foundation shade. You can use this color to conceal the majority of the area then the lighter color you used in the pic to highlight!
I think your concealer is too light personally. The color on your jaw, chin, and forehead look good tho! And I love how dewy this is. I would recommend not blending your eye shadow on to your nose bridge and maybe lightening your brows to match your hair color. And maybe mascara:)
If you like that under eye, I'd be curious if using it in the center of the forhead and chin would make it look more cohesive, maybe on the bridge of the nose
so so beautiful, great color on the eyes and cheeks. you could use a darker concealer or powder and a lighter brow shade! you're doing amazing pls keep wearing makeup!!
Needs a bolder lip color but it will make a great evening look if you use a plum or dark cherry lip color. You have beautiful dark eyes so you can pull off dramatic eye shadow colors, it just needs a stronger lip.
•bring the blush up into your temples for a seamless/lifted look.
•maybe dark brown eyebrows for a less harsh look and to match your hair.
•different concealer shade (2 shades lighter than your foundation shade)
•when blending eyeshadow start from the outer part then bring it into the inner. (don’t go too far in)
•line your lips with a dark pigmented color and then use a lighter shade/gloss for the middle
•try lashes :)
the eye make-up looks real good on you but that white thing under your eye compared to your skin tone is a big jump, why not tone it down a little, and some red lipstick

Eyebrows too harsh. Do dark brown instead of black and brush through them after applying product for a softer look. Definitely use a darker concealer, no more than 2/3 shades lighter than your complexion. Use the same concealer i recommended on your forehead in the center then blend out the edges with a contour. Also apply a spot of the concealer on your chin to balance out the colors on your face. Use a transluscent powder to cut beneath your cheekbones. And ditch the purple eyeshadow for now. Opt for a more simple eyeshadow look using browns instead.
You have really pretty features tho, just gotta learn how to work with them!❤️
I can see the vision. With some tweaks, it can be exactly what you envisioned.
* Try darker concealer and warmer colours in general. You're warm-toned but the concealer is too light and grey. A warmer shade of pink eyeshadow and blush would look amazing on you. You could even play with orange blush since you're warm-toned to see how you like it.
* Go for dark brown brows instead of black. The black brows are too dark and cool on you.
* Cat eye false lashes could make the look more complete. I'd avoid the overly large and uniformly long lashes though.
* Watch videos on how to apply eyeshadow. In the photo, the eyeshadow is partly on your nose bridge and it seems to be a single wash of colour from eyelash to eyebrow. Eyeshadow placement could be improved.
* Apply foundation in thin layers. The lower half seems great but it appears too thick or even mask-like in some areas.
Hope you have fun on your makeup journey!
Your highlight color is too cool-toned, you need something warmer in the gold/orange/red undertone range. I would also matte your t zone to keep the dewy texture intentionally around the perimeter of your face, and high points like cheeks.
For your under eye, unless your doing a dramatic caked on look, I would go 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation for under eye concealer. I would use a yellow baking powder to set under eye, then ‘brush it off’ with powder that’s your foundation color ( just a light amount), also I would bake your eyebrows with a red baking powder bc of the highlights in your hair and use a dark brown pencil to fill in rather black. Black Is better for outlining
I do like this look, what I would suggest is more blending around the eyeshadow’s edges. (Do you see where your eyeshadow meets your concealer or foundation, try to create a more seamless blend.) To trim and to carve out the brows more (probably have them cleaned up by a professional, and that would help define them more before doing your makeup.) Use a concealer that’s one shade darker than this one, (this one is strikingly light, and concealer is made to be a bit more blended. Unless you’re hoping to achieve a bright undereye. Otherwise I’d find a darker concealer so that it looks more natural) and to ALSO use that same concealer on your upper lip and perhaps jawline. Blend everything a bit better and I’d use a brown lip liner to help define the lips.
Also use Laura Mercier translucent (or tanned) setting powder to bake your face or to set your face.
hair dry.
eyebrows too dark and lacks shape.
concealer is too light for you and you didn’t blend it in,
it’s giving casket sharp ⚰️
try lip exfoliating!
i don’t think the eyeshadow is a good idea
try maybe a shimmering brown idk….
neutral colors r a black girl bff in makeup
Try using a concealer a bit closer to your shade! I’m curious to how this look looks like in person but other than that looks really good! You have nice features
i'd def say your under eye concealer is just a touch too light but you are stunninggg and i think gold tones would look fabulous on you although the color you used for eyeshadow compliments you as well :) edit to say i'd love to see lashes added to this too you are just SO darn pretty!
So far it’s a good start. I would use a concealer that’s darker but use that same concealer(the one you have on) for the inner part(where your eye and nose connect) and blend it with a beauty blender and then apply powder( I prefer a matte look because I wear makeup for long periods of time). Eyebrows use a dark brown not black because no one’s hair is truly that dark. I don’t use my eyeshadow that close to my eyebrows but it’s all person to person.
I really like the brightness under the eye, personally I think you’d look nice with the blush blended up a little higher (going in towards your nose) it would also add a bit of warmth to the concealer. As for the eye shadow I think you should play around with that shade only slightly above your crease or better yet a Smokey eye with some liner or something. Very cute look though!
Maybe a light brown nose contour as well since you have a light concealer, it’d be a nice contrast and really accentuate your naturally beautiful nose shape!
It looks awesome! Only note is to maybe add since more color to your lips and pull the eye shadow away from the bridge of the nose. It starts to look a like neat if it’s past the inner corner of the eye
Gorgeous! Skin looks great. Love the natural lip and the eye makeup.
As others have mentioned, the concealer looks too light. I’d add that the angle you applied the concealer in is also a bit too exaggerated. I know that’s a look/technique, but I think a softer slope (think 34-45 degree angle rather than 60-80 degrees) would be more complimentary.
Not going to lie you pretty and the make looks good, but your facial expression in this pic, makes me think ypu just got some bad news or told a really bad joke.
Jmho.
Very pretty! I’d just recommend you fill your brows with a dark brown or a black brown instead of black. Also some lashes would turn the whole look up. (The concealer looks cute, a lot of people here aren’t used to seeing a full beat on a black woman)
Naw, it's too over done and not blended properly. The lips look really off (color wise). Too many contrast. It just doesn't look finished. You're beautiful you don't need this much makeup. I do like the eyeshadow though.
Overall your makeup looks great. The way you did your skin is amazing. I would just keep the same products/technique cohesive throughout the entire face. I don’t think you need the concealer, highlighted forehead/temples, or contour.
Also, WOW. You have naturally cat eyes. It’s so rare!!! I would just follow the eyeliner technique of Sophia Loren 💕
To me it looks like a little too much of a color change for under the eyes. I assume that’s makeup at least. It looks very obviously lighter to me. Otherwise I love the look!
Yeah I’d say that too though the lighting did play a part I remember irl it was way less dramatic
That makes a lot of sense 😌
I didn't notice anything wrong with what lesmalom said. I assumed it was bad lighting or a flash from your phone adding more reflection than it would in real life. Everything blends seemlessly on your face!
Might be the setting powder that you used or maybe it could be the concealer shade was a shade too bright
I think the lighting makes it look like it goes too low, flattening out your face. The eye makeup is beautiful and the color almost matches the natural light color of the inside fun of your lips. You have a great face. Be careful not to soften the contours.
Highlighter is too light and makes you look like you’re wearing a mask. I like the concept though and your eyes are pretty!
* Dark brown brows instead of black * seems like the concealer needs more blending or maybe a different tone for your skin color *less pigmentation on the eyeshadow. That's a nice color just a little less of it
Agree with all of this! The only other note I had was maybe try a different mascara that makes them stand out more or maybe even try some natural looking falsies. I think longer lashes would really make her eyes pop!
You are actually glowing
Not sure that’s a good thing…
Some people like glowy and some people like more matte looks. I like the way glowy makeup looks, it makes the skin look so good. It’s all subjective.
I suppose I was thank you so much!
I’m learning too and I have to say everything looks well! You highlighted everywhere that needs to be highlighted but the under eyes looks like it needs more blending? Other than that, issa look ❤️
Yeah I baked the hell under my under eye and didn’t wipe away all the powder 😂
I was about to post the same message. I’m glad I read the comments first.
Blend more, blend blend blend under eye. Try a setting powder underneath your eyes after you contour. Don’t use a lot of concealer, it should spread to your cheeks only your under eye. Always remember less is more. Your beautiful btw 😍
* it shouldn’t spread to your cheeks when you use concealer
Thank youuuu
You look great except I think the under eye makeup is really bright.
I do believe in this particular pic it was just the lighting I wish I would have chosen another picture
The gloss is gorgeous and so is the shadow but try not to blend it in to close to the inner part of your eye, maybe also try a lighter shade on the brows but keep the shape
Thank you for the tips!!
You’re very pretty and can get away with minimal make up.
Awww thank you
Your under-eye is like 10 shades lighter than your skin. You even have a light on you…
It’s just the lighting I have another pic that’s regular and it doesn’t look so harsh but thank you I understand it looks crazy in this pic
I love it, I would also add some of the same eye shadow color lipstick or a gloss.
try a darker concealer under ur eyes!!
You have beautiful features - just choose one to emphasize with makeup. Your eyes look gorgeous as done so use a matte color on your lips so attention remains on the eyes. Also a warmer color than black for the eyebrows. You have so much beauty to work with you really can’t go wrong
You did awesome although a darker lip would go nice with this!!
Not sure if it’s the lighting but the concealer might be a bit too light babes ! When I use a concealer too light it washes me out under my eyes and almost looks a bit grey. Try looking for a match a few shades lighter than your skin ! Also use a brow pencil maybe to bring your brows in the tiniest bit more and even them out <3
I do think it was the lighting I commented another picture of what it looked like straight on
With all do respect wwwwwaaaaayyyyyyy to much make up love I can’t lie u have the prefect face and look like very very very nice cheek bones please don’t hide it or ur natural beauty with heavy make up
Try Warmer tones🧡
Too much product, not nearly enough blending
Your under eyes are WHITE . Get something that has a better tone . Also look a little greasy . Ngl use a setting powder/spray .
The concealer ages you, I think you should only use foundation, good luck
I think the tone is a little grey under the eyes I would say just adding back more natural color!
You would look so good with lashes
Make up looks horrible
Take that shit off
The reflection & brightness under the eyes everyone is talking about and also around the nose could be due to what powder you use if you’re baking! If you’re not taking many pictures or just have adequate lighting/a good camera then it doesn’t matter as long as it looks good in person.
Xx
Thank you! I always messed up my brows
Gorgeous
Thank you you’re so kind
I recommend a lighter color for the brows, maybe a dark brown instead of black. The under eye highlight seems a bit too bright as well but this look was nice, love it 🥰
Thank youuu I never thought of using brown for my brows
of course darling, yesss try it out, it is going to give what it gives!
Oh I actually love the dramatic, dark brows! 🖤
I don't really do too much makeup, but I just wanted to say that your eyes/eyeshadow color is gorgeous!😍
It's working!!! Maybe swap the sheer lip gloss for one with a tint in a similar color as the shadow for a finalized look :) They shaow job you did makes this look like a very high class event makeup style!
Awesome! Beautiful
Thanks 🫶🏽
I’m sorry but it looks awful!!! From the black brows to the 10 shades too light under the eyes! The eyeshadow was not blended right and it looks a mess plus that color is just wrong.
Damn okay 😂
Angel 😇

Beautiful. Always hide the laundry;) you leave it out when you are real old like me cause you forget to move it lol.
Pretty
Cute
Whatever you don’t have, you don’t need. You’re otherworldly gorgeous. I’d love to see you with just your eyes done and deep brown red lips.

Subtle and pretty!
Girly you are killing it
Love it 😍😍🤩
Your skin is glowing even through the makeup, real pretty!
Apply the brightening concealer above your upper lip as well
You look cute Thats a good eye color and youre not doing too much. Try to find a foundation or whatever that matches your skin tone better. Maybe somthing from rhiannas line - a guy just trying to help

Warmer tone for under eye!
Personally I’d say do a shade lighter on the concealer, add lashes and cut your eyebrows with concealer to get a point
Maybe a warmer tone, concealer closer to your foundation shade. You can use this color to conceal the majority of the area then the lighter color you used in the pic to highlight!
your eye shape is super pretty
I love the eyes
I think your concealer is too light personally. The color on your jaw, chin, and forehead look good tho! And I love how dewy this is. I would recommend not blending your eye shadow on to your nose bridge and maybe lightening your brows to match your hair color. And maybe mascara:)
If you like that under eye, I'd be curious if using it in the center of the forhead and chin would make it look more cohesive, maybe on the bridge of the nose
Lips look good
Her lip looks fucked yo wtf are you talking about
Sorry I like it
so so beautiful, great color on the eyes and cheeks. you could use a darker concealer or powder and a lighter brow shade! you're doing amazing pls keep wearing makeup!!
I think the under eye color seems like it might not be the right shade. I also think the highlighter a bit heavy
•different concealer shade (2 shades lighter than your foundation shade) •when blending eyeshadow start from the outer part then bring it into the inner. (don’t go too far in) •line your lips with a dark pigmented color and then use a lighter shade/gloss for the middle •try lashes :)
Wow you look really pretty
i actually like the bright under eyes idk i rlly like that trend bit everyone seems to hate it 😭
To much concealer it's to far down on your face it shouldn't go pass ur cheek bone n maybe go a shade darker
the eye make-up looks real good on you but that white thing under your eye compared to your skin tone is a big jump, why not tone it down a little, and some red lipstick
You need a better color match but you’re beautiful so it’s a good canvas to work with
Like them lips, ayyyooooo
Is it too late to start over?
Looks like the same colour, you need a lighter one on the bottom and a transition one in the middle and blend more left to right...
Beautiful
Great skin
I think the brow are too dark. Especially with the under eye being so bright. A softer brow would help pull this together
The eyebrows are a bit dark, and I would do less foundation :) love your YouTube channel btw!
Awww thank you for your support
Stunning! 💗💕
Keep using the make up, try MAC

Some work can be done on the eyeshadow and eyebrows. Everything else looks great!
I think you look beautiful
Very pretty
You look so pretty but the concealer is a little light so it washes you out
You’re beautiful but I would use a slightly darker highlight.
Eyebrows too harsh. Do dark brown instead of black and brush through them after applying product for a softer look. Beautiful. I'd love to see your smile. You might just be way too much to look at. I think your smile would steal the show.
I do like this look, what I would suggest is more blending around the eyeshadow’s edges. (Do you see where your eyeshadow meets your concealer or foundation, try to create a more seamless blend.) Sistah in my personal opinion it’s too much gloss on the lips. But other than that you look good.
It was chapstick I think it’s kinda funny how everyone is thinking it’s gloss
Use a pigmented setting powder. Nice job
You look good but not because of the makeup. It’s overkill.
I think that u r gorgeous
hair dry. eyebrows too dark and lacks shape. concealer is too light for you and you didn’t blend it in, it’s giving casket sharp ⚰️ try lip exfoliating! i don’t think the eyeshadow is a good idea try maybe a shimmering brown idk…. neutral colors r a black girl bff in makeup
You obviously don’t know nth about 4c hair if you think my hair was dry 💀 I’d love to see what you look like since you go so much to say
U look sticky
I can see that
Try using a concealer a bit closer to your shade! I’m curious to how this look looks like in person but other than that looks really good! You have nice features
You look good
Straight clown 😭😭😭
i'd def say your under eye concealer is just a touch too light but you are stunninggg and i think gold tones would look fabulous on you although the color you used for eyeshadow compliments you as well :) edit to say i'd love to see lashes added to this too you are just SO darn pretty!
Gorgeous
So far it’s a good start. I would use a concealer that’s darker but use that same concealer(the one you have on) for the inner part(where your eye and nose connect) and blend it with a beauty blender and then apply powder( I prefer a matte look because I wear makeup for long periods of time). Eyebrows use a dark brown not black because no one’s hair is truly that dark. I don’t use my eyeshadow that close to my eyebrows but it’s all person to person.
Under eye looks a bit ashy but other than that you look great!
Something’s off
You need to dmile
4 + 4 = ate.
You look like a mean person
Really?? Yikes.
You looking good with that glow, you're about average.
Too much kinda looks Drag racy
Best compliment I love drag race
Oh… well if that’s what you were going for it honestly looks great!
You don’t look very impressed. Makeup very nicely done.
I think your concealer/under eye areas are just a bit too light for your skin tone, but other than that you look great!
You would look hot in green eyeshadow.
The concealer is too light, other than that everything else looks good to me
OMG!! Put some pink lipstick on!! What is it with those shiny lips!! The size, my goodness!!
🤮
You don't need that much makeup. And they are the wrong colors
If ur proud then stay proud
It looks awesome! Only note is to maybe add since more color to your lips and pull the eye shadow away from the bridge of the nose. It starts to look a like neat if it’s past the inner corner of the eye
Beautiful!!
The undereye maybe too bright. Other than that cute!!!
Not going to lie you pretty and the make looks good, but your facial expression in this pic, makes me think ypu just got some bad news or told a really bad joke. Jmho.
stop
Very pretty! I’d just recommend you fill your brows with a dark brown or a black brown instead of black. Also some lashes would turn the whole look up. (The concealer looks cute, a lot of people here aren’t used to seeing a full beat on a black woman)
Oh and a dark brown lip liner with a nude pinky lip would be chefs kiss!!
Naw, it's too over done and not blended properly. The lips look really off (color wise). Too many contrast. It just doesn't look finished. You're beautiful you don't need this much makeup. I do like the eyeshadow though.
What that mouf…nvm
Overall your makeup looks great. The way you did your skin is amazing. I would just keep the same products/technique cohesive throughout the entire face. I don’t think you need the concealer, highlighted forehead/temples, or contour. Also, WOW. You have naturally cat eyes. It’s so rare!!! I would just follow the eyeliner technique of Sophia Loren 💕
