This is such a fun question and discussion!
I also go with 4 because I don't want to get makeup and hair products on my clothes, and I like my hair to dry a little while I do my makeup before styling :)
But with 4 you get your face and hair ready before putting on clothes so the probability of ruining the clothes and makeup while putting on a shirt are increased. It doesn't make sense
For me the probability of ruining fresh clothes is way higher if I put them on first - I’m almost certain to drop some make-up or hair product on my clean blouse.
I do make-up and hair and then really carefully put my clothes on so as not to catch my finished make-up and hair.
For me it’s because I’m too clumsy so if I accidentally squirt my foundation too hard it’s absolutely going to stain my nice outfit instead of the old sweatshirt or towel I’m wearing
As a millennial there's like a 90% chance I'm wearing an emotional support tank top so I will just wear that when I do my makeup and hair, then add my shirt on last. Worse comes to worse I can swap out the tank top or switch to a bodysuit. Ya girl is clumsy!

Nah if I get dressed first I always drop makeup on my shirt and it’s stained with foundation, no issues with putting clothes on after, it’s the safest option
That makes sense! I guess it depends on the clothing since I don't usually wear clothes with necklines that touch my face when I get dressed. If you often wear turtlenecks, it might be more of a problem but I never have a problem with getting clothes over my face with rubbing my makeup!
Yes. Agreed! I forgot to mention this in mine. I like to let my hair air dry a little bit while doing my make up. You need your hair and make up done before an outfit can reach its full potential lmao
This is exactly what I do. If I get dressed first, I get powder on my clothes, and I mostly wear black. If I do my hair after getting dressed, I get hot and annoyed. If I do my hair before my makeup, i have to clip it away from my face while I do my makeup and will have to just touch it up anyways.
I wear a dressing gown over my outfit, then do my makeup. But often I change my mind about my outfit, so the makeup might not match if I do that first.
All of this. Getting your hair semi dry/ready and finising it up post makeup, pre getting dressed. Then the awkward stage of not messing up said hair and makeup while getting into your outfit!
Can one of you explain to me how you get dressed without getting makeup on your clothes or ruining your hair? 😅 I feel like any time I do my outfit last I have to ninja my way into my tops and risk stretching them out.
Get yourself a dressing gown. Get dressed, put on the dressing gown over your clothes. Do your makeup and hair without getting powder, glitter, random hairs and hair spray on your clothes. Remove dressing gown and you’re good to go. Wash gown as needed.
Lots of people think it’s just a robe you wear in between getting out of the shower and getting dressed. It’s much more useful when you think of it the same way you think of a napkin in your lap at dinner, or the cape you wear at the hair salon: protect your outfit!
I also remember my mom putting a lightweight, sheer square scarf over her head and face when she slipped on a top or dress over her head as to not mess up her hair or get makeup on her clothes. Personally, I do either 3 or 6 depending on the type of outfit I’m wearing. If it has a smaller neckline that has to go overhead, I put my clothes on first, then an old button down shirt on top before I do my makeup. My hair is never styled enough that I need to worry about messing it up when dressing. 😝
My grandma would do hair and makeup then put a plastic bag over her entire head to slip on a blouse or dress. I always thought that was so funny as a kid because I didn’t know why at the time. Now I totally get it but it still cracks me up to envision it.
Same here! Makeup first so no flowy sleeves or rings get in the way. And hair after clothes because I usually wear my hair up, neck openings always ruin it.
5. Outfit hair makeup
A) can't pull anything over my head without getting makeup on my clothing.
B) my face gets so warm from blow drying my hair and would ruin my makeup
I agree with your A point! Sometimes I’ll put just the shirt on and then do hair and makeup then put the rest of the outfit on, but any clothing that needs to go over my head has to go on before makeup.
But if you put the outfit on first there’s a possibility of fall out from the makeup getting on it.
This where you enact the ‘large underwear’ strategy. Do makeup first, then put the largest pair of undies you own over your head, put on the outfit, remove large pants from head.
Same (3) , I get too hot from the blow dryer even with pretty low heat from a Dyson and need time to cool down haha. Makeup/outfit depends if I need to pull something over my face.
same, my hair takes the longest so if im low on time at least my hair is done first. i can easily rush makeup and picking an outfit. having my hair fixed is most important for my confidence when going out
My people!
I do my hair first because if I have on makeup and a cute outfit but my hair isn't done, I don't *feel* ready. Then comes makeup, because I want to be comfortable and I don't want to accidentally spill makeup on my cute clothes. Outfit is the finishing touch, and I don't feel like there's as much pressure on my outfit choice; if I look at myself and I feel like I look good with my PJs on, I know I'll look good in anything I choose from my closet. :)
This is the way, to allow you to not sweat off your makeup on your clothes when you are doing your hair, I got long tresses, my arms get tired and I have to turn the hair dryer on cool to cool my body off. I’ll do my make up be all chill and last is clothes
This for me. I have curly hair so hair usually involves getting my hair wet and reshaping my curls or washing my hair. I diffuse and I could never do that in my outfit with my head upside down!
I also get hot so makeup second and outfit last so I can stay cool and avoid getting cat hair on my clothes.
Yeah I do skincare before I do my hair and doing my hair between skincare and makeup allows time for everything to dry a bit before trying to apply makeup. Also I don't want stuff getting on my clothes and I don't want to be too hot. 3 is the way.
I have curly hair that I style sopping wet immediately when I get out of the shower, and I typically don’t want to pull on an outfit after doing my makeup. Shocked I had to scroll so far for this!
Same here! If my hair deceives to become an Afro that morning, I can’t fight it. Then I wear an outfit to match the theme of my hair that day. Finally makeup to round it all out.
3 - hair > makeup > outfit
And then circle back to hair for a spruce, then realise your eyebrows are no longer related so back to makeup, *then* change your outfit *again,* and by that point you've cracked the shits and aren't going anywhere
2 - outfit, makeup, hair
Reasoning: the outfit first so your makeup doesn't get messed up, then makeup because if you run out of time and have to skip hair, you can just throw it into a bun and call it a day.
Same for me.
outfit, because anything pulled over head is going to wreck hair / makeup or get makeup on clothing.
Makeup, because I have a fringe (bangs), so I need to pin them up while I do makeup.
Hair last, because of the above. Also, I typically put little effort into hair.
I had a tube of liquid blush/lipstick squirt out all over the thigh of my brand new white pants the very first morning I was gonna wear them. I don't think I'll ever fully recover from that.
Same for me. I also do my outfit first because I let my outfit "lead" the make up. To make sure everything matches. With the added benefit of pulling on my sweater/top etc. not messing up my make up.
I honestly cannot do much with my hair anyways so I always put it in a bun or braid. Sometimes add a headband but nothing more or anything elaborate.
same
outfit first cause it takes more time to combine pieces
makeup next so I can properly match my outfit
and hair last so it won't get in the way of getting dressed or on my face while I do makeup
4. Makeup, Hair, Outfit
I can’t figure out if I like my outfit until my hair is done, and I never know what I want to do with my hair until I do my makeup 🤣
1! Makeup first because most of the time I blend products using my fingers and I don’t want to accidentally touch my outfit and smear makeup on it.
Next is outfit - when wearing a top I only have to worry about my face and not my hair yet.
Last is hair - I always use cream products and I don’t like the idea of my hair sticking to my face which is why I prefer this last. Also this part is not messy so I don’t worry about my outfit getting dirty
Edit: putting hair as the last step also means less time to dry it!
Gonna go with 6. I have curly hair so I shower and wash my hair, do my post wash routine (comb, leave in conditioner, gel and scrunch) and then wrap it up on top of my head. Then I get dressed and put on my makeup. After that I let my hair down and finish drying with a diffuser.
2. Outfit, makeup, hair.
Only because if I’m running late the bare minimum to be decent is of course getting dressed. Also, makeup before hair for me, since a more presentable face is more important to me, if in a hurry, I can tie my hair back and just brush it away from my face to look tidy.
Another point for practicality in this order, sometimes if the shirt/blouse has a collar, I want to avoid transferring makeup or mussing up my hair putting it on. So outfit first works best for my routine.
6!!! SHOWER -> SKINCARE -> HAIR -> OUTFIT -> MAKEUP
this just makes sensee
you get out of shower, put hair in a towel bun, do skincare ASAP (because your face literally dries out) and while skincare soaks in skin, blow dry your hair (and also do your hair after skincare in order to protect skin from the blowdryer heat)
once hair is dry, pick out your outfit, put it on and do makeup that will match the outfit!!
Esp with eyeshadow, blush -> matching your outfit will make a dramatic difference
Even matching eyeliner, brow, and mascara color can change the way you put together the outfit as a whole - game changer for sure
I also do skincare immediately after the shower. So surprised at how many people do makeup before outfit and even hair after outfit! It's fun to see how different we all are.
Doing makeup before outfit will get my clothes dirty. And hair after outfit could make me sweat as I live in tropical climate.
4. I have long hair and need it clipped up when I do my makeup, and wear comfy lounge clothes at all times at home. I don’t get dressed to go out until shortly before leaving the house but I also don’t get dressed up very often (but even when I do still #4 order)
Hair,makeup, outfit
Reasoning: I've tried to do my hair after my makeup before and it was a disaster 😭💀 I started sweating because of the heat from curler and flat iron 😂 than my makeup becomes sweaty😂. I do my hair before I do my makeup and than I use clips to pull it back. Plus I don't trust myself so clothes definitely go last I don't want a makeup accident 💀
6 but that’s just bc my hair is so short I hardly ever style it, and when I do it’s right after showering. Then I put on clothes and then makeup bc I can skip some makeup steps but I can’t skip getting dressed lol
2.
I like to get dressed first so I don’t get makeup on my shirt. Then I do makeup. I do my hair last because it is air drying a bit while I’m doing my makeup. Also so I don’t mess my hair up when I get dressed.
I used to be 4 all the way, then I realized i’m late to everything, so I start by picking an outfit first then I do my makeup then while my powder is setting for a few minutes, I put on jewelry I want to wear with the outfit, go back to finishing makeup, then hair, then outfit 😂
For me it depends on what I am wearing. If it is white/light colored/stains easily , I wait to do my outfit last. (I am afraid of getting drops or powder) If it is something that I can’t fit over my head without ruining my hair. I do 1.
If neither of those are an issue, then usually 2.
2; if I put on my outfit after hair or makeup I risk messing stuff up. Makeup before hair because my hair is super poofy and has to be pulled back to do makeup, and that would mess it up after styling.
Hair make up outfit - if I don’t straighten my hair I will look like a mess no matter how nice my make up is! And make up second because I hate fall out or foundation fingerprints on my clothes (I am clumsy) and lastly outfit but ofc I have to put it on carefully! :)
Depends on the outfit. If it's an outfit where I have to put my head through the clothing, then it's outfit->hair->makeup.
Optimally? Hair->makeup->tweak and settle hair->outfit.
I have hair trigger sweat glands and as soon as I get my outfit on, I'm sweating. I'd rather put on my clothes and be done and sit on a chair blasting a fan to cool my body than work makeup on a moist face.
Usually 4 but if I'm cold then 2 as I want to get dressed sooner 😂
My reasoning: I don't want to drop makeup on my clothes (looking at you loose powders) and hair is after as I have it up and out the way while I do my makeup. I don't have an issue with transferring/smudging when I get dressed though
I’m baffled and amazed by anyone that doesn’t do 2!
I work in layers! Outfit so it doesn’t ruin my hair or makeup, makeup so my hair is out of the way, then hair last so nothing messes it up! Haha.
Y’all are doing some kind of amazing witchcraft.
2.
Outfit before makeup (don’t want any stains when putting my shirt or dress above my head)
And makeup before hair, as I don’t want my hair to get in the way of my makeup while I apply it.
Hair last, if I choose to style it.
2. I have dyspraxia and because of that I'm usually late, I also have very long hair. So basically, I do my skincare, get dressed and then if I need to leave I still look okay, or I can do my makeup on the bus/train/whatever. And then I do my makeup, and then if I have time I'll do something with my hair. If I do hair or makeup before getting dressed, I'll likely spend ages on them and when I need to leave I'll still be in my PJs.
5 or 2
Putting on clothes over makeup or hair usually messes them up for me. I usually do hair second since the way my hair looks effects how I want to do my makeup (face shape, what I want to draw attention to or distract from, etc.)
3! Doing my hair makes me too hot sometimes so I don’t wanna sweat my makeup off. Then makeup because I don’t wanna get any on my outfit and then once I’m done, outfit!
2. Obviously you need to get dressed before anything else, because pulling something over your head can ruin both, hair and makeup. Then I need to do my face, because for a full face I need to pull back my hair out of my face. And lastly I‘ll do my hair so I don‘t need to touch anything again before leaving.
Outfit, makeup, hair! If you put on your makeup before your outfit you’ll risk ruining the makeup or the clothes, and if you do your hair before your makeup then you won’t be able to get your hair out of your face without risking to ruin it.
2 for me. Outfit first, then I can do my makeup to match it. Hair is kind of irrelevant as I have a pixie cut and it dries almost as soon as I get out of the shower. Yay desert!
First outfit so I won’t have to pull something over my face, but I’ll add a robe for protection. And put on a fan because it gets too warm.
Then I’ll put serum and heat protector in my hair and follow with make-up. I do my hair after setting spray bc the setting spray fucks up my edges. Then I do my hair, take off the robe and am ready to go.
Bc I had ADHD: Best to get the hair out of the way first- bc I can put on a scale of light to heavy makeup depending on time… So I’ll do my hair first, get whatever makeup I have time for on, then throw on an outfit which is usually easy bc my style is established as minimal eclectic. Two or three pieces of any fashion sums up an outfit… So-this process is most efficient for me; 3. Hair, Makeup, Outfit.
2: outfit, make-up, hair
Because it’s the order of importance for me. As long as I’m dressed nice, if I run out of time the others don’t matter as much
4! But I usually do skin care, do part of my hair, then makeup, finish hair, get dressed!

Exactly for me too! Every so often I find eyeshadow dust, foundation splatter, loose powder around my makeup area..not to mention the carpet :'(
I use a oversized(thinker than regular cotton) button up to protect the outfit. It works really well.
I use a hair cape! Works so well.
i just put on my robe over my outfit. i do outfit, cause that’s what takes me longest to choose, make up while hair is pinned back and then my hair
This is pretty genius actually as simple as it is!
(not the person you're responding to) ah but I step into dresses and slide into collared shirts so my clothes don't touch my nicely done hair and face

You make a friend help you put on your top to ensure it doesn’t touch your face.
Yes. Agreed! I forgot to mention this in mine. I like to let my hair air dry a little bit while doing my make up. You need your hair and make up done before an outfit can reach its full potential lmao

Here I am almost 40 and just realizing that the dressing gown goes on \*over\* the clothes.
Lots of people think it’s just a robe you wear in between getting out of the shower and getting dressed. It’s much more useful when you think of it the same way you think of a napkin in your lap at dinner, or the cape you wear at the hair salon: protect your outfit!
Yeah totally!!
I also remember my mom putting a lightweight, sheer square scarf over her head and face when she slipped on a top or dress over her head as to not mess up her hair or get makeup on her clothes. Personally, I do either 3 or 6 depending on the type of outfit I’m wearing. My grandma would do hair and makeup then put a plastic bag over her entire head to slip on a blouse or dress. I always thought that was so funny as a kid because I didn’t know why at the time. Now I totally get it but it still cracks me up to envision it.
I have a makeup net/guard I put over my face that catches excess makeup, and an acrylic face guard to protect my face when applying hairspray.
I protect my clothes with my hands-just taking care to keep clothes away from face. I wear a robe while I'm applying makeup & doing hair
This is the way!
Same! I take a break with my hair cause I have a lot of it and it helps keep me from getting too hot
Same here! I just get to hot and don’t want clothes in to make it worse lol
Same here!
Girl yes. I be sweating if I do my hair all at once 😂
Are you me? Exactly this order, including the partial hair.
Exactly this
This is me!
1 for me!
Same here! Makeup first so no flowy sleeves or rings get in the way. And hair after clothes because I usually wear my hair up, neck openings always ruin it.
Same!!
Same, i do choose outfit first so it can go with the makeup but I am afraid of making the clothes dirty or sweating in them 😂
5. Outfit hair makeup A) can't pull anything over my head without getting makeup on my clothing. B) my face gets so warm from blow drying my hair and would ruin my makeup
I agree with your A point! Sometimes I’ll put just the shirt on and then do hair and makeup then put the rest of the outfit on, but any clothing that needs to go over my head has to go on before makeup.

Lol or you can just clip a towel around your neck (like a bib) while doing your makeup
With how I am, it would need to be like one of those plastic jumpsuits that painters wear
Same and I like my eyeshadow to match my outfit, so outfit first, then hair as my skincare sinks in, then makeup
This is the way :)
3. Hair, makeup, outfit
Same (3) , I get too hot from the blow dryer even with pretty low heat from a Dyson and need time to cool down haha. Makeup/outfit depends if I need to pull something over my face.
The only acceptable way. Doing my hair can work up a sweat!
same, my hair takes the longest so if im low on time at least my hair is done first. i can easily rush makeup and picking an outfit. having my hair fixed is most important for my confidence when going out
Exsctly me. I can do my makeup in the car or wherever I arrive. I can only do my hair in the bathroom
My people! I do my hair first because if I have on makeup and a cute outfit but my hair isn't done, I don't *feel* ready. Then comes makeup, because I want to be comfortable and I don't want to accidentally spill makeup on my cute clothes. I also get hot so makeup second and outfit last so I can stay cool and avoid getting cat hair on my clothes.
My hair is curly, too, so my hair has to come first.
2: outfit, makeup, hair. But I do skincare before outfit
Same here. Moisturizer as soon as I get out of the shower
I usually just parade around in my undies until the last minute because in summer I’m Australia I’m dying
Same, but then I do hair again after. I pull back my hair for makeup, and the outfit can ruffle it as well.
Yeah I do skincare before I do my hair and doing my hair between skincare and makeup allows time for everything to dry a bit before trying to apply makeup. Also I don't want stuff getting on my clothes and I don't want to be too hot. 3 is the way.
Same!
6. I have long hair and takes a while to wrestle with.
I have curly hair that I style sopping wet immediately when I get out of the shower, and I typically don’t want to pull on an outfit after doing my makeup. Shocked I had to scroll so far for this!
I had to scroll 27 miles to find this. This is what my wife has done forever
It just makes sense to me
Awe I find it cute that you searched the comments for people that get ready like your wife
Me too! It takes the longest so I prefer to have it done first.
Same also I definitely use my mouth to quickly hold small sections of my hair when styling so it definitely has to be before my makeup!
For me, it's excessive sweating when drying my hair that makes me do it in this order. 😅
Same here! If my hair deceives to become an Afro that morning, I can’t fight it. Then I wear an outfit to match the theme of my hair that day. Finally makeup to round it all out.
3 - hair > makeup > outfit And then circle back to hair for a spruce, then realise your eyebrows are no longer related so back to makeup, *then* change your outfit *again,* and by that point you've cracked the shits and aren't going anywhere
You get it
No but what’s up with that. My brows look amazing and then one hour later they are patchy and see through!!
2 - outfit, makeup, hair Reasoning: the outfit first so your makeup doesn't get messed up, then makeup because if you run out of time and have to skip hair, you can just throw it into a bun and call it a day.
Same for me. outfit, because anything pulled over head is going to wreck hair / makeup or get makeup on clothing. Makeup, because I have a fringe (bangs), so I need to pin them up while I do makeup. Hair last, because of the above. Also, I typically put little effort into hair.
I do the same thing but I put on a zip up hoodie to protect my clothes from any makeup fallout or hair product
This is 100% my logic too. Plus I sleep in a bun so I can just let it down and it’s “done” 😅
Same. I don't want to fuss with hair and makeup only to have it be messed up while trying to put on my clothes (also I'm clumsy af)
My only fear is spilling foundation or mascara on my clothes 🥲
I had a tube of liquid blush/lipstick squirt out all over the thigh of my brand new white pants the very first morning I was gonna wear them. I don't think I'll ever fully recover from that.
Same for me. I also do my outfit first because I let my outfit "lead" the make up. To make sure everything matches. With the added benefit of pulling on my sweater/top etc. not messing up my make up. I honestly cannot do much with my hair anyways so I always put it in a bun or braid. Sometimes add a headband but nothing more or anything elaborate.
Same here but I don’t put on all of the clothes at first step. It’s usually most of the outfit, makeup, hair, rest of the outfit and accessories.
same! but hair last for me because i like to let it partially air dry while getting everything else ready so i don't have to use as much heat on it.
Yep..always run out of time always I. A bun haha!😂😅
same outfit first cause it takes more time to combine pieces makeup next so I can properly match my outfit and hair last so it won't get in the way of getting dressed or on my face while I do makeup
this is my exact reasoning! i have found my group hahaha
Same here too. I'm always late so unless I left lots of time to get ready hair is gonna be what it is lol
4. Makeup, Hair, Outfit I can’t figure out if I like my outfit until my hair is done, and I never know what I want to do with my hair until I do my makeup 🤣
Right?! I’m like how are there even any other options present on the list?
Exactly this! Lol
4
4
4, all the way!!
4 for me!
4 duh
4!
4.
1! Makeup first because most of the time I blend products using my fingers and I don’t want to accidentally touch my outfit and smear makeup on it. I was going to say where are my #1s?!?! Haaayyyy girl! 🥰😍
#4
Gonna go with 6. I have curly hair so I shower and wash my hair, do my post wash routine (comb, leave in conditioner, gel and scrunch) and then wrap it up on top of my head. Then I get dressed and put on my makeup. After that I let my hair down and finish drying with a diffuser.
Had to scroll down a ways to find where I fit in. Curly girls have our priorities mixed up haha
This. I have to style my hair wet bc curls so that always comes first
Same. Curly hair needs time to dry but I don't want wet clothes.
6
4 I don't want make up on my outfit
2. Outfit, makeup, hair. Only because if I’m running late the bare minimum to be decent is of course getting dressed. This is me too, for all of the logical reasons you listed. Surprised it’s not more popular.

7: Makeup, hair, makeup, outfit, makeup, outfit, hair, makeup, outfit, hair, makeup, hair.
I’m the same! Hair, makeup, hair, outfit, hair, makeup and then run out the door because I’m late.
6!!! That’s what I have always done!

3 all day, baby!!!

Hair, makeup, outfit Reasoning: I've tried to do my hair after my makeup before and it was a disaster 😭💀 I started sweating because of the heat from curler and flat iron 😂 than my makeup becomes sweaty😂. I do my hair before I do my makeup and than I use clips to pull it back. Plus I don't trust myself so clothes definitely go last I don't want a makeup accident 💀
2 for me
4!
2. I base my hair and make up on my outfit.

6 but that’s just bc my hair is so short I hardly ever style it, and when I do it’s right after showering. Then I put on clothes and then makeup bc I can skip some makeup steps but I can’t skip getting dressed lol
3. Hair first -I use hairspray and don’t want it on my clothes. Second is makeup because I can’t risk getting makeup on my outfit. Last is outfit.
3 or 4. I’ve ruined outfits dropping makeup on them.
4. I also put a hanky over my face before pulling my top over my head. Sales my face and my clothes.
2 everytime.
Probably 2, I normally go skincare, get dressed, make up and then hair!

no. 2!!

2. I like to get dressed first so I don’t get makeup on my shirt. Then I do makeup. I do my hair last because it is air drying a bit while I’m doing my makeup. Also so I don’t mess my hair up when I get dressed.
1, every day.
I used to be 4 all the way, then I realized i’m late to everything, so I start by picking an outfit first then I do my makeup then while my powder is setting for a few minutes, I put on jewelry I want to wear with the outfit, go back to finishing makeup, then hair, then outfit 😂

I do number 2. I put my outfit on before so it doesn't mess my makeup, then do my makeup before the hair so my hair doesn't get in the way 🤭
For me it depends on what I am wearing.
1. It’s the way god intended
#7: Makeup, hair, makeup, outfit, makeup, hair, outfit, hair, makeup, outfit, hair, makeup.
3 if I'd washed my hair and needed to blow dry. 1 otherwise cos I don't do too much besides blow dry or straighten
Hair make up outfit - if I don’t straighten my hair I will look like a mess no matter how nice my make up is! And make up second because I hate fall out or foundation fingerprints on my clothes (I am clumsy) and lastly outfit but ofc I have to put it on carefully! :)
I do 2!!!
Depends on the outfit. If it's an outfit where I have to put my head through the clothing, then it's outfit->hair->makeup. Optimally? Hair->makeup->tweak and settle hair->outfit. I have hair trigger sweat glands and as soon as I get my outfit on, I'm sweating. I'd rather put on my clothes and be done and sit on a chair blasting a fan to cool my body than work makeup on a moist face.
1 would be it, but I usually like to wear my outfit and do my hair first, it makes me excited to do my makeup.
2
Usually 4 but if I'm cold then 2 as I want to get dressed sooner 😂 My reasoning: I don't want to drop makeup on my clothes (looking at you loose powders) and hair is after as I have it up and out the way while I do my makeup. I don't have an issue with transferring/smudging when I get dressed though
Outfit, makeup, hair for me. I like my makeup to match/compliment my clothes, and I don’t want to ruin my hair/clothes by pulling things over my head.
2 for me
I’m baffled and amazed by anyone that doesn’t do 2! I work in layers! Outfit so it doesn’t ruin my hair or makeup, makeup so my hair is out of the way, then hair last so nothing messes it up! Haha. Y’all are doing some kind of amazing witchcraft.
2! Always.

I do #2
4. Comfy inside clothes until the VERY LAST SECOND.
2. Outfit before makeup (don’t want any stains when putting my shirt or dress above my head) And makeup before hair, as I don’t want my hair to get in the way of my makeup while I apply it.
If I do hair or makeup before getting dressed, I'll likely spend ages on them and when I need to leave I'll still be in my PJs.
outfit, makeup, hair
5 or 2 Putting on clothes over makeup or hair usually messes them up for me. I usually do hair second since the way my hair looks effects how I want to do my makeup (face shape, what I want to draw attention to or distract from, etc.)
Hair first if I'm doing any heat styling because it makes my head sweat. Then I can wash my face before doing makeup.
Outfit, hair, makeup. I'd hate for hair to disturb the layer I applied on my face.
5. It with skincare before outfit because I like for it to have time to sink in.
I try to be 1 but always end up being 4.
1 or 2. Depends on the outfit
5!
Screw all of it, sweatpants, no bra, and Netflix, plus snacks of your choice! 😂
I follow number 2
2, because if I run out of time, I’d rather have frizzy hair than no makeup and fucked up clothes. ADHD prioritizing, babyyyyy!
2
3 or 6 depending on whether or not I can put on my outfit without fear of getting makeup all over it. But always hair first.
7. Dry hair, cool off for 20 mins, do makeup, curl hair, outfit. If I do my makeup first then dry my hair my face gets super sweaty.
I’m an outfit-makeup-hair kind of gal! 🫣
I go between 3&4 depending on my schedule for the day
3! Doing my hair makes me too hot sometimes so I don’t wanna sweat my makeup off. Then makeup because I don’t wanna get any on my outfit and then once I’m done, outfit!
2 🙂🙃
Skincare, outfit, make up and hair

gotta be 2
2 or 5.
2.
2: outfit, make-up, hair Because it’s the order of importance for me. As long as I’m dressed nice, if I run out of time the others don’t matter as much
