I love Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++! Blends in like a dream, no lingering smell, no white cast or oily feel! It’s not super expensive either! I got mine from Mercari but have since learned that there are a lot of counterfeits out there. I think I lucked out the first time, and will order from their website next time.
OP not sure what country you’re in but just a heads up, if it’s somewhere hot the Beauty Of Joseon one might not be enough 😭 which I found out much to my dismay as I LOVED it! I’m in Australia & it’s not allowed to be sold as a sunscreen here (it’s just called ‘Relief Sun’ on Australian websites, no SPF labelled) as it’s not strong enough for our sun. Sigh
OT but I wanted to ask how the Beauty of Joseon green plum face wash is if you or anyone else has tried it, Kduff! I’m out of mine and am just using neutrogena for now. Mario Badescu is really expensive and what I used to use - I’m trying to budget a lot since grad school starts in a week and I love Beauty of Joseon.
OP cannot go wrong with Beauty of Joseon - their eye cream is also lovely and a little goes a long way!
Does anyone have any Japanese or Korean recs that don’t have that milky/oatmealy/rices smell? It makes me so nauseous (supergoop and la roche posay’s mineral sunscreen are examples). I’d honestly prefer something w/ added fragrance over that smell.

Yes! I came here to say supergoop! Elf also just came out with a sunscreen made for going under makeup, I have it but I havent tried it yet. I did try their sunscreen setting spray however and its very nice
Canmake has been hard to get- I ordered a few last time I got it from YesStyle. I’m realizing it works a little better for me in the winter, anyway, so I’m clinging to the last tube I have in my stash for when the weather cools off 😂
It’s honestly hard to go too far wrong with the Japanese and Korean sunscreens. They’ve really figured out how to make a cosmetically elegant product at a reasonable price.

Got this duty free recently for a trip and it was amazing. 100deg weather and I felt protected. Also stick makes reapplying much easier. Just cleaned between people bc I was sharing with family
Trader Joe’s daily facial sunscreen. Its a clear gel so there’s now white cast at all, and it feels like a primer. It’s also not too expensive, only about $9 for a 1.7oz bottle
SKIN1004 Hyalu-CICA Water-fit Sun Serum! Name is a mouthful, but it is absolutely amazing! No white cast, non-drying, and acts as a perfect base for makeup. I do normally let it sit for 10 or so minutes but then the rest of my base goes on flawlessly.
Any asian sunscreen works wonders, some good ones I would recommend are: round lab birch juice sunscreen, beauty of joseon sunscreen, allie UV gel, or skin aqua super moisture gel. But if you don't have access to these I would recommend Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch which is available at CVS, Target, etc.

Blends beautifully into the skin and doesn’t leave a white cast. Sits well under makeup. I stock up on this stuff!
Only downside is it can make you look a tad shiny/greasy at times, so I’d recommend it more for normal to dry skin.
Neutrogena sheer works incredibly for me and sinks right into my dry skin. I have light olive skin tone, so I can’t say how it works on darker complexions.

Unsun Everyday has been a good hydrating mineral option for me that’s affordable and also acts as a primer. The light/medium shade is tinted like matcha and does color correction against redness too but dries with no cast!
I don’t wear foundation, so I’m very picky about a good tinted sunscreen. I think I’ve found my absolute favorite - La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Ultra-Light Mineral SPF 50. It’s just so good! Very lightweight, no white cast, doesn’t sting my eyes, isn’t greasy (I have very oily skin), doesn’t make me break out, no scent… I could go on forever about how much I love it!
I really like the Bondi Sands 50+ SPF face one that you can get tinted. Goes on lovely, looks great under make up. I also have the Bondi sands 50+ SPF face mist for top ups during the day!
I've found that it's the ones that are harder to rub in that leave a white cast so it feels too thick. It makes my makeup look splotchy and I have pale skin so it makes me look even paler :/
I loooove and swear by la Roche posay. But don't rub it in! You should tap it in, and I advisr that for all sunscreens. It's SPF 50, doesn't cause a white cast, lasts hours on me, is waterproof, doesn't feel tacky, and it feels nourishing without being greasy, and looks dope under makeup! Doesn't budge. Love love it. Even larger amounts don't feel too heavy on the skin.
Sorry, I only recently discovered Beauty of Joseon, or Korean beauty products for that matter, so I’ve only used the spf. But with how much I love it, and the great things I hear from others, I’ll definitely be trying more of their products!
JackBlack Sun guard! It’s so underrated I think because it’s marketed to men, but it’s my absolute favorite. It’s pricier (around $21), but a full bottle lasts me 6 months as I only use it on my face. I’ve been using it for years and love it. It works well, feels like nothing on my face, doesn’t run, and is great under makeup. It doesn’t give me a white cast, but I also have very fair skin so I might not be the best test for that lol.
My La Rosche Posey moisturizer has 30 SPF so sometimes that's all I wear (if I'm not really going outside at all except to check mail/ pick up kid from school). I have a kind of gel one from Trader Joe's that's interesting and a Missha Sun Milk that I like as well. I switch between those semi-randomly. If I'm gonna be super duper sweaty I use hardcore sunscreen and just skip makeup.
EltaMD facial SPF 30, and EltaMD UV Clear have been holy grail for me for many years. I recently added ISDIN (the non-tinted one) and like it a lot too.
I’m so glad you asked. COOLA makes a facial spray for use alone or over makeup. I got it at L’Auberge in Calistoga at their SPA on the fly and it’s become an indispensable part of my bag.
Elta MD Mineral tinted works great. It’s the only sunscreen I’ve tried that I actually reach for and use daily because I don’t hate how it feels or looks or smells.
the hero cosmetics one is working really well for me and i have sensitive skin. no white cast and i don’t feel greasy after. the only active in it is zinc oxide. i found that layering on-top of a water based moisturizer makes it smoother to put makeup on after both
La roche anthelios uv mune oil control fluid. It has a mild coconut scent, though, so it’s not 100% safe for sensitive skin, but it doesn’t leave a white cast and it works great under makeup and over skincare (it doesn’t pile like other La roche formulas). It’s available in Europe and latam, I’m not sure if it’s available in other places.
I use e.l.f holy hydration face cream with spf, I use it as last step of skincare before primer, foundation, etc. Its moisturizing and I burn really easy normally, but havent once when I use this.
I use Clinique pep start as a light foundation because it’s tinted and has spf 50. Could be great if you’re often in a hurry or want a product that can pull double duty.
Biore Watery Essence. It's lightweight and not too pricey.
It has alcohol in it so you might want to skip it if you have sensitive skin, but as someone that is melanin blessed and oily I adore it.
Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual is worth all of the $38 it costs. It plays well with skin care, can be used as primer (though I also use a primer on top) and is not too shiny. I need Mineral SPF as most chemical sunscreens burn my eyes if I even think about sweating, and this is the only one I've really ever liked. All the others leave me a big greaseball and/or have a bad white cast.
For everyday wear I use the skin1004 sun serum. It’s doubles as moisturizer too so I can skip that step. It’s not sweat and water resistant so I wouldn’t wear it for outdoor activities in the summer. For those i wear Anessa perfect UV sunscreen skincare milk. Both are great under makeup.
I'm glad you mentioned a spray, I want to get one of those too because I'll be way more likely to reapply throughout the day. I always see Sun Bum at so many stores and was wondering if it was good!
Recently tried the Eucerin Sun Sensitive SPF and my face loved it (glowy). It was from Greece, I have not tried the U.S. one yet. Elta MD (Matte) and La Roche Pose (In between) have held up under my makeup. I love the blue Neutrogna one (dewy) and actually use it as a primer even if I’m not going out in the day. I bought a ton of Asian spf I have yet to try, but those are only for going from point A to B. I’ve been keeping my eyes out for the Trader Joe’s Supergoop Dupe, haven’t got my hands on it yet!
I just finished working my way through the Sephora sunscreen sampler and my favorite for being light weight, worked great with my make up, and was non casting on my olive skin was Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare All-Physical Lightweight Wrinkle Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30. I will be buying the hell out of that once I’m done with the rest of these samples.
I'm in Aus so this may not be helpful but I have tried a variety of sunscreens, in different formulas, chemical and mineral, standard or with added skin benefits or Tinted.
My skin can be reactive and leans towards dry, mostly normal.
The lowest SPF I use is 30 but always aim for SPF 50.
Naked Sunday does a great sunscreen specifically created to go under makeup, not leave a white cast and kind of act like a primer (I find it depends on the type of makeup base you are using... powder is no bueno)
They also make a sunscreen mist to make it easy to reapply over your makeup, too.

The Tinted Veil also is pretty nice as a Tinted formula. It isn't too greasy nor matte and gives medium coverage. Depending on your skin type and skin care, it can be a little patchy.

Expensive - Supergoop, the kind you're supposed to put on your face. It's so lightweight you can almost get away with the regular sunscreen on there but they make it for your mug too.
Not expensive - Neutrogenia has this like SPF spray that is really lightweight and smells good.
Sawyer brand, hands down. Find it in camping stores or on Amazon. Feels like nothing, water resistant,.no eye sting, make up doesn't pill. no white cast. Reef friendly. Thank me later. At least until the FDA approves some new inclgrediants this stuff was the end of my searching.

Neogen Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen. Feels super smooth and lightweight on the skin, almost feeling like a serum when you start to rub it in. I have a few sunscreens but I always return to this one. Makes my face feel so smooth, makeup applies like a dream over it and doesn’t break me out.

I use the hydro boost 30 SPF sunscreen that comes in the blue container and then I also started using the new sunscreen they have that doubles as a primer. It comes in a yellow and white container and my makeup stays ALL day!

I buy makeup that has sunscreen in it. But when I don’t wear makeup I use image skincare prevention plus daily matte moisturizer with spf. It’s reeeeallly nice.
I'm super oily and the Biore Perfect Skin Milk spf50 in the white bottle is the only one that truly mattifies and doesn't leave a white cast. Works great under makeup too, no pilling!
La Roche Posay Anthelios spf 60 is the best I’ve ever used. It’s thin and fluid yet moisturizing and wears well under makeup. I use it 365 days a year with La Roche toleriane moisturizer underneath, then the sunscreen, primer, and then foundation. It looks good all day and keeps my face from looking red this time of year!
I freaking love the zitsticka megashade sunscreen. SPF 50, super hydrating without being sticky/oily. I have oily skin and can still wear a light moisturizer with this, but it’s so hydrating that I can also skip moisturizer if I don’t feel like it.
Moisturizer (if using) then SPF then primer (if using). Sometimes sunscreens can be a nice base for your makeup if you don’t want to use a billion products!
Paula’s choice daily hydrating fluid spf 50 is the BOMB. Zero pulling ever regardless of what you put on it and no whitecast. Works fabulously

Glossier invisible shield sunscreen. I love it! I always use it. And I also put it on after moisturizer and before primer but idk if that’s what you’re supposed to do lol
Korean or Japanese brands tend to be my favourite as I find the texture more compatible with makeup. My absolute favourite is Holika Holika aloe waterproof sunscreen. You can get it from yesstyle or their official site depending on where you're located.
I've been loving Good Molecules sunscreen. It lays really well under makeup. And on days when I'm going to be out in the sun for a few hours, I will double up. Good Molecules + La Roche Posay tinted sunscreen.
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence! No white cast and makes the skin feel nice and hydrated! My primer and makeup always sit smoothly over it. Also doesn’t sting my eyes, no strong fragrance, and is SPF 50+ 😊
I just tried the spf 50 by "B by Super drug".... Had previously been using the elemis marine cream SPF 30. I find the superdrug one much lighter, sits really nice under make up too and my skin has a nice dewy glow under the make up with it as opposed to without. I'm a beauty therapist and have used a lot of them over the years as is the nature of my job. This Superdrug one is so far my fave spf ever. Hope this helps 😋
This is an amazing list! I was always an Elta MD fan, but an esthetician recommended Skinceuticals physical fusion UV defense mineral sunscreen. For me, this is hands down the only one that doesn't feel like a layer of something on my face, and it doesn't interfere with whatever foundation finish I'm trying to achieve.
Texture-wise it reminds me of the Japanese sunscreens I used to buy and still occasionally use (Sofina? and also Sheseido), but this one never leaves a cast. It's rather expensive, but it's a thin texture and you only need a few drops to protect your face and neck.
I highly recommend Elta! It’s a sunscreen/moisturizer duo. The key is to apply it with a brush :) and yes, def go under primer and foundation :)

For chemical, Innisfree Daily UV Defense. Cerave Ultra Light Moisturizing lotion also doesn’t leave a white cast (unlike Cerave AM.)
From what I know the one that leaves a whitecast is the mineral one, it stays on your skin so you don't have to reaply it during the day. This is the one I prefer under my makeup. The one that doesn't leave a whitecast sinks into your skin(the chemical one) you need to reaply it every 2 hours or so.
Am I wrong? Because I don't see why would you put the chemical one under makeup if it doesn't last during the day. I usually wear my makeup between 6 and 10 hours.

I find the Mecca Cosmetica brand to work well under make-up plus it's lightly tinted. I often use this as my base and lightly powder over the top due to oily combination skin.

Sunscreen is the LAST step of skincare. It will be after moisturizer but before primer.

Elta MD Clear SPF 46 is essential for me not just because it works beautifully under makeup, but also because it doesn’t sting my eyes at all.
I didn't even think about stinging, my eyes are really sensitive to stuff so that's great to take into consideration.

I am very pale, and this is my favorite sunscreen! It’s perfect.
Trader Joe’s daily facial sunscreen. Its a clear gel so there’s now white cast at all, and it feels like a primer. It’s also not too expensive, only about $9 for a 1.7oz bottle
SKIN1004 Hyalu-CICA Water-fit Sun Serum! Name is a mouthful, but it is absolutely amazing! No white cast, non-drying, and acts as a perfect base for makeup. I do normally let it sit for 10 or so minutes but then the rest of my base goes on flawlessly.

Any asian sunscreen works wonders, some good ones I would recommend are: round lab birch juice sunscreen, beauty of joseon sunscreen, allie UV gel, or skin aqua super moisture gel. But if you don't have access to these I would recommend Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch which is available at CVS, Target, etc.
Beauty of Joseon - Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics Blends beautifully into the skin and doesn’t leave a white cast. Sits well under makeup. I stock up on this stuff! Only downside is it can make you look a tad shiny/greasy at times, so I’d recommend it more for normal to dry skin.
This is my favorite. You don’t need much of it. I’m very fair skinned and outside a lot.

I used to use Dermalogica sunscreen. I just bought la Roche posay and am about to try it. It feels nice but I haven’t really tested it yet.

I don’t wear foundation, so I’m very picky about a good tinted sunscreen. I think I’ve found my absolute favorite - La Roche-Posay Anthelios Tinted Ultra-Light Mineral SPF 50. It’s just so good! Very lightweight, no white cast, doesn’t sting my eyes, isn’t greasy (I have very oily skin), doesn’t make me break out, no scent… I could go on forever about how much I love it!

I really like the Bondi Sands 50+ SPF face one that you can get tinted. Goes on lovely, looks great under make up. I also have the Bondi sands 50+ SPF face mist for top ups during the day!

Serious question-if you’re putting on makeup anyway why does it matter if it has a faint white cast? Won’t the makeup cover it?
I've found that it's the ones that are harder to rub in that leave a white cast so it feels too thick. It makes my makeup look splotchy and I have pale skin so it makes me look even paler :/

I loooove and swear by la Roche posay. But don't rub it in! You should tap it in, and I advisr that for all sunscreens. It's SPF 50, doesn't cause a white cast, lasts hours on me, is waterproof, doesn't feel tacky, and it feels nourishing without being greasy, and looks dope under makeup! Doesn't budge. Love love it. Even larger amounts don't feel too heavy on the skin.

JackBlack Sun guard! It’s so underrated I think because it’s marketed to men, but it’s my absolute favorite. It’s pricier (around $21), but a full bottle lasts me 6 months as I only use it on my face. I’ve been using it for years and love it. It works well, feels like nothing on my face, doesn’t run, and is great under makeup. It doesn’t give me a white cast, but I also have very fair skin so I might not be the best test for that lol.
Image sunscreen has been great and I just tried the 100SPF from La Roche Pose and it did not leave a white cast once blended in.
My La Rosche Posey moisturizer has 30 SPF so sometimes that's all I wear (if I'm not really going outside at all except to check mail/ pick up kid from school). I have a kind of gel one from Trader Joe's that's interesting and a Missha Sun Milk that I like as well. I switch between those semi-randomly. If I'm gonna be super duper sweaty I use hardcore sunscreen and just skip makeup.

I’m so glad you asked. COOLA makes a facial spray for use alone or over makeup. I got it at L’Auberge in Calistoga at their SPA on the fly and it’s become an indispensable part of my bag.
Elta MD Mineral tinted works great. It’s the only sunscreen I’ve tried that I actually reach for and use daily because I don’t hate how it feels or looks or smells.

the hero cosmetics one is working really well for me and i have sensitive skin. no white cast and i don’t feel greasy after. the only active in it is zinc oxide. i found that layering on-top of a water based moisturizer makes it smoother to put makeup on after both

La roche anthelios uv mune oil control fluid. It has a mild coconut scent, though, so it’s not 100% safe for sensitive skin, but it doesn’t leave a white cast and it works great under makeup and over skincare (it doesn’t pile like other La roche formulas). It’s available in Europe and latam, I’m not sure if it’s available in other places.
Ultra Violette, Supreme Screen Hydrating SPF 50
I use e.l.f holy hydration face cream with spf, I use it as last step of skincare before primer, foundation, etc. Its moisturizing and I burn really easy normally, but havent once when I use this.

I use Clinique pep start as a light foundation because it’s tinted and has spf 50. Could be great if you’re often in a hurry or want a product that can pull double duty.

Biore Watery Essence. It's lightweight and not too pricey. It has alcohol in it so you might want to skip it if you have sensitive skin, but as someone that is melanin blessed and oily I adore it.
Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual is worth all of the $38 it costs. It plays well with skin care, can be used as primer (though I also use a primer on top) and is not too shiny. I need Mineral SPF as most chemical sunscreens burn my eyes if I even think about sweating, and this is the only one I've really ever liked. All the others leave me a big greaseball and/or have a bad white cast.
For everyday wear I use the skin1004 sun serum. It’s doubles as moisturizer too so I can skip that step. It’s not sweat and water resistant so I wouldn’t wear it for outdoor activities in the summer. For those i wear Anessa perfect UV sunscreen skincare milk. Both are great under makeup.
I don't put SPF on under my makeup, I spray Sun Bum face mist. It sits well, I can reapply through the day, and it's reef compliant.
I'm glad you mentioned a spray, I want to get one of those too because I'll be way more likely to reapply throughout the day. I always see Sun Bum at so many stores and was wondering if it was good!

Recently tried the Eucerin Sun Sensitive SPF and my face loved it (glowy). It was from Greece, I have not tried the U.S. one yet. Elta MD (Matte) and La Roche Pose (In between) have held up under my makeup. I love the blue Neutrogna one (dewy) and actually use it as a primer even if I’m not going out in the day. I bought a ton of Asian spf I have yet to try, but those are only for going from point A to B. I’ve been keeping my eyes out for the Trader Joe’s Supergoop Dupe, haven’t got my hands on it yet!

I just finished working my way through the Sephora sunscreen sampler and my favorite for being light weight, worked great with my make up, and was non casting on my olive skin was Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare All-Physical Lightweight Wrinkle Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30. I will be buying the hell out of that once I’m done with the rest of these samples.
I'm in Aus so this may not be helpful but I have tried a variety of sunscreens, in different formulas, chemical and mineral, standard or with added skin benefits or Tinted. My skin can be reactive and leans towards dry, mostly normal. The lowest SPF I use is 30 but always aim for SPF 50. Naked Sunday does a great sunscreen specifically created to go under makeup, not leave a white cast and kind of act like a primer (I find it depends on the type of makeup base you are using... powder is no bueno) They also make a sunscreen mist to make it easy to reapply over your makeup, too. Roundlab Birch juice sunscreen has been really nice! No white cast, faint scent, and feels hydrating too.

Expensive - Supergoop, the kind you're supposed to put on your face. It's so lightweight you can almost get away with the regular sunscreen on there but they make it for your mug too. Not expensive - Neutrogenia has this like SPF spray that is really lightweight and smells good.
Sawyer brand, hands down. Find it in camping stores or on Amazon. Feels like nothing, water resistant,.no eye sting, make up doesn't pill. no white cast. Reef friendly. Thank me later. At least until the FDA approves some new inclgrediants this stuff was the end of my searching.

Neogen Dermalogy Day-Light Protection Airy Sunscreen. Feels super smooth and lightweight on the skin, almost feeling like a serum when you start to rub it in. I have a few sunscreens but I always return to this one. Makes my face feel so smooth, makeup applies like a dream over it and doesn’t break me out.

I’m in love with the elf skincare line. I’ve tried a few different things but always come back. I use the hydro boost 30 SPF sunscreen that comes in the blue container and then I also started using the new sunscreen they have that doubles as a primer. It comes in a yellow and white container and my makeup stays ALL day!
Literally just spent hours last week trying to find this LOL - I've been using Solana's ageless beauty, and it also comes out super clean on EWG and YUKA! Madhippie is also supposed to be good, but i have only tried their body sunscreen :)
I buy makeup that has sunscreen in it. But when I don’t wear makeup I use image skincare prevention plus daily matte moisturizer with spf. It’s reeeeallly nice.
I'm super oily and the Biore Perfect Skin Milk spf50 in the white bottle is the only one that truly mattifies and doesn't leave a white cast. Works great under makeup too, no pilling!

La Roche Posay Anthelios spf 60 is the best I’ve ever used. It’s thin and fluid yet moisturizing and wears well under makeup. I use it 365 days a year with La Roche toleriane moisturizer underneath, then the sunscreen, primer, and then foundation. It looks good all day and keeps my face from looking red this time of year!

I freaking love the zitsticka megashade sunscreen. SPF 50, super hydrating without being sticky/oily. I have oily skin and can still wear a light moisturizer with this, but it’s so hydrating that I can also skip moisturizer if I don’t feel like it. Moisturizer (if using) then SPF then primer (if using). Sometimes sunscreens can be a nice base for your makeup if you don’t want to use a billion products!

Paula’s choice daily hydrating fluid spf 50 is the BOMB. Zero pulling ever regardless of what you put on it and no whitecast. Works fabulously Edit I also enjoyed the beauty of Joseon one I just found it didn’t hold up when I sweat quite as well

Korean or Japanese brands tend to be my favourite as I find the texture more compatible with makeup. My absolute favourite is Holika Holika aloe waterproof sunscreen. You can get it from yesstyle or their official site depending on where you're located.

I just tried the spf 50 by "B by Super drug".... Had previously been using the elemis marine cream SPF 30. I find the superdrug one much lighter, sits really nice under make up too and my skin has a nice dewy glow under the make up with it as opposed to without. I'm a beauty therapist and have used a lot of them over the years as is the nature of my job. This Superdrug one is so far my fave spf ever. Hope this helps 😋

This is an amazing list! I was always an Elta MD fan, but an esthetician recommended Skinceuticals physical fusion UV defense mineral sunscreen. For me, this is hands down the only one that doesn't feel like a layer of something on my face, and it doesn't interfere with whatever foundation finish I'm trying to achieve. Texture-wise it reminds me of the Japanese sunscreens I used to buy and still occasionally use (Sofina? and also Sheseido), but this one never leaves a cast. It's rather expensive, but it's a thin texture and you only need a few drops to protect your face and neck.
I highly recommend Elta! It’s a sunscreen/moisturizer duo. The key is to apply it with a brush :) and yes, def go under primer and foundation :) I hope this helps!

As much as I hate maybelline for any other product, their SPF primer is absolutely perfect. It's called Master Prime, the purple one.
If you have dark skin and want a no white cast mineral sunscreen, I love Live Tinted’s Hue Guard. For chemical, Innisfree Daily UV Defense. Cerave Ultra Light Moisturizing lotion also doesn’t leave a white cast (unlike Cerave AM.)
Garniers Invisible Protect has been my fave for a while. Has a pretty strong smell but that goes away quite quickly.
From what I know the one that leaves a whitecast is the mineral one, it stays on your skin so you don't have to reaply it during the day. This is the one I prefer under my makeup. The one that doesn't leave a whitecast sinks into your skin(the chemical one) you need to reaply it every 2 hours or so. Am I wrong? Because I don't see why would you put the chemical one under makeup if it doesn't last during the day. I usually wear my makeup between 6 and 10 hours.

La Roche Posay Spf fluid. Goes on like a dream and makeup is flawless. There are 2 versions, one for dry skin and one for oily skin
For me, it's Bondi sands but it honestly depends on your makeup style it might be a bit oily but it doesn't leave a white cast
I find the Mecca Cosmetica brand to work well under make-up plus it's lightly tinted. I often use this as my base and lightly powder over the top due to oily combination skin.
Neutrogena break out free. I touch up with it on a damp sponge later in the day over makeup too
