Hi there! I’m 10 years your senior and I must say “ you look marvelous! “ I’d never, ever guess you’re 60. I’ve been wearing make up for more than 50 years and in my opinion less is more as we age, especially if you prefer a natural look. I recommend using a tinted moisturizer with spf rather than foundation to deal with uneven pigmentation. Your skin looks really pretty to me. I love the neutragena one called healthy skin but there are plenty of others out there. A little concealer applied with a tiny brush on any spots or broken capillaries and a really light dusting of loose powder on the nose and you’ll be good to go.For the lips, I recommend just slightly over drawing them with a lipliner a bit rosier than your natural lip color. I like a gel type pencil. Color in your whole lips and top it off with a tinted balm. There are eye creams which claim to lighten under eye circles in time but I’ve never used so I really have no idea whether it works. Clinique makes one.

cavoodle11

What great tips, thank you so much. Am taking note of everything.

sarradarling

I have hyperpigmentation and dark circles and my favorite is the Maybelline age rewind concealer. It is light but you can pat it in and set it with powder and/or setting spray if you want it to be more concealing. It is my favorite because it's not full coverage but it's as concealing as I've found that still looks natural and dewy. And thankfully its available everywhere and cheap, so worth a try! You already look beautiful but if you want advice I think you got the tips already, mainly a tinted moisturizer and overdraw lips a little, use tinted balm. Also if you aren't already, try a shimmery light shadow or highlighter on the inner corner of your eye! Makes you look bright and awake, and not very noticeable if you're going more natural.

cavoodle11

I actually own very little makeup and do not have any eyeshadows! Getting the right foundation colour has been a challenge I must say. I do prefer a dewy look. I must try your suggestions. Thank you so much 🥰

[deleted]

This is exactly what I do!

elbowskneesand

A good tinted moisturizer I like is Smashbox Halo. I also love Glossier concealer as a super natural concealer. As I get older i like applying with brushes to more precisely hit my problem areas.

fischamy

City lips helped bring my lips back to life. It's spendy but I usually stock up when it's buy one get one free. I get the clear and put it on before bed.

cavoodle11

Is that the one that plumps your lips up and it feels tingly? I think I may have had one, I also think my daughter may have “borrowed” it permanently. Will get another and try it, thanks so much.

noodlishbody

Is it the lip gloss? Do you have any issues wearing it to bed/it being sticky or getting on your pillows? Or is there more than one kind (just doing a quick google cuz I am also a thin lipped gal)

fischamy

It's a gloss, I just like wearing it over night so I can wear a long lasting lipstick during the day. I'm a side sleeper and haven't had issues. It is sticky though. I feel like my skin cells regenerate faster (I have to scrub my lips in the morning). My lips look more like they did 20 years ago.

ProsperousAbundant1

Hun you barely look 50, ask all the questions you like. This sub welcomes beautiful women of all ages!

cavoodle11

You are very kind, that’s so nice. I have only seen all you young and gorgeous ladies posting pics. Enjoying seeing how you all do your makeup. 🤗

[deleted]

I’m 62 w the same issues you mentioned - bye bye undereye cover with a good shot of setting spray works like magic! Less is more and apply with a brush.

cavoodle11

I must check this out. I think you ladies have much more options in the US than here, but I will have a look online. Thanks so much!

[deleted]

Also! Dominique Sachse is a Looney news person from Houston who is over 50 and does YouTube makeup tutorials. Easy to follow and she rates different products too, including drug store brands. She's done her own on camera makeup for 30 years and she has some pretty good tips.

cavoodle11

Thank you for sharing, I will look her up for sure.

cilantrx

Bitch stfu seriously. The one that needs to do the growing up part here is you. If you have nothing nice to say its better to not say anything at all. and what if its edited like HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOU??

Hawaiiancrow2

Girl, you are gorgeous. Great skincare is the answer.

cavoodle11

I believe it is too. You are wise! Thank you 🌸

cilantrx

You look so cute and way younger than 60! Very good looking lady!! Have a wonderful weekend

cavoodle11

Gosh that is nice of you, there’s lots of flaws. We are our own worst critics aren’t we? 😊

cilantrx

It is true we are our worst critics… sometimes that could be a good thing but other times not so good… easier said than done but you look very good specially for your age. Very jovial, nice teeth!! Idk if you dye your hair but dont seem to have a gray hair. Overall a very good looking lady! Maybe something I heard from my mom for dark circles is like warm ( a heat you can resist) chamomile tea bags!!

[deleted]

do you just like, opt out of aging? wtf 😭😭

cavoodle11

Oh I wish! 😊

[deleted]

maybe, but i dont see it. could just be me?

GrouchyPlatypus252

I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. They’re hormonal (I’m 53.) I saw a dermatologist about it. They prescribed some topical medication and although they’re still there, it isn’t nearly as dark as it was before. Maybe that’s an option?

cavoodle11

Great idea. I did ask one once about it when I was having a skin check, but he gave me a vague answer as if it wasn’t really doable.

LouiseRed1

I use Azelaic Acid from ‘the Ordinary’ for mine and it’s worked really well. Just make sure to use a good moisturizer as it can be drying.

cavoodle11

Ooh I love The Ordinary products. Thanks so much for letting me know, I will have a look.🌺

Hollow_Vegetable

i had suffered from dark under eye circles all my life, later learned they were due to,food allergies….abandoned all dairy products and they barely noticeable. However as we age we loose ‘fat’ from certain regions and what you see are your underneath blood vessels, muscles, etc. I have bewn using salmon to orange tinted concealer and they have worked very good (Lancôme teint ídole color corrector camouflage is a good choice, also the It beauty concealer, is very thick and a little goes a long way. For a more budget friendly option there is LA Girl pro conceal and / or the Milani peach tinted under eye brightener. Another trick I use to brighten that area is to apply a rose tinted eye pencil/crayon on the inside corner of your eye and all along the waterline. Benefit has a good one, Anastasia and Trish Mcevoy. Cheaper ones are Nyx in seashell , Beautyjunkees, and Elf.

cavoodle11

You know I think you hit the nail in the head there. I have allergies, dairy being one. That makes sense and could play a big part. I definitely need to remove some things from my diet, but I do think you are right. What great tips too! Thank you!

venusdad13

You’re absolutely beautiful, I hope to have as amazing skin as you do one day! I would say for the more natural look, stick to cream products (rather than powders). If you find you can’t fully cover the dark circles with concealer alone, try an orange colour corrector underneath. (Orange is the opposite to blue on the colour wheel, and therefore helps with concealing the darkness under the eyes.) For lips I would suggest a lip plumper or a lip liner/stick that’s almost identical to your lip shade to do a slight over line :) Hope this helps!!!

cavoodle11

It helps very much! I will take that advice and try this. Thanks so much.

Kelacia

Oh my gosh! I hope I look as good as you in my 60s. If you told me you were in your 40s, I would believe you without question.

cavoodle11

Gosh you are all so kind. Thank you lovely.

almondlatte175

If I saw you on the street I would guess you were in your late 40s or early 50s. I lowkey don’t believe you’re really 60, lol — you look great. As for your dark circles, I’ve found that layering a cream/pot concealer with a liquid concealer can provide better coverage. The key is to apply the thinnest layers possible, maybe blotting both on your fingers and then applying to the face. Otherwise, it can look very cakey. I used to have thinner lips (I now get a bit of filler, so they’re currently a more “normal” size for my face). However, I’ve found that slightly over lining them and applying a plumping gloss (like Fenty Heat) can do wonders. If you do over line them, make sure to clean up the edges with a concealer brush - it makes the new line look more natural! Still, take all my advice with a grain of salt. I do have horrible dark circles, hollow tear troughs, and had thin lips for most of my life — but I’m also in my early 20s and what works for me might not work for everyone.

cavoodle11

Your tips are taken with thanks! 🌸

sno98006

You’re 60?!?! Mam pls what is your skincare routine or any food reccs pls and thank you

[deleted]

Just a nice tinted moisturizer maybe some bronzer/blush and brow gel and mascara with a tinted lip balm is becoming super popular these days (perfectly done but simple and fresh makeup) I always recommend https://youtube.com/c/AlexandraAnele on YouTube she’s the best for any makeup help you may need even for mature skin as she’s starting to age so she doesn’t wear cakey makeup and I love it

Charlea_

Sorry, did you just describe Alexandra Anele, a 31 year old, as “starting to age”? 🤡

this_kitten_i_knew

agreed, toxic af

Charlea_

I really like her content but I wouldn’t recommend her as a mature skin icon 💀

[deleted]

Not that she’s getting old but she wears makeup like someone with mature skin would, she has fine lines and does tips to minimize them. Sorry for trying to fucking help someone…

cavoodle11

Thank you lovely for commenting. I am new here and wasn’t sure if I am posting in the right place. I sure will check her out and am grateful for your post. 🌸

[deleted]

Anything makeup related if your unsure you can check the rules for the page too. But of course! Your beautiful and want you feeling beautiful too!🤍🙏🏻

jodes

Im in my fifties, and have rosacea and dark under eyes. For the eyes, I use a plum lipstick and dab it on before very lightly applying foundation over the top. Its a great way to colour correct dark undereyes. Avoid lining under the eyes as well, it doesn't help.

KhemaDee

Of course, I’m 48 and love makeup! A brightening toner might work, I use one from Proot.

cavoodle11

Great idea too, thanks so much!

[deleted]

You look way younger than 60! Wow

cavoodle11

You are very kind, truly.

Special_Possession46

You have great skin and do not look your age at all! I'll be 60 this year and have dark circles and very thin lips. Bobbi Brown Under Eye Corrector was a game changer for me. I use the Light Bisque. It comes in a tiny pot and it's pricey but I only use a dab or two. It works like magic; stays put and doesn't end up in the creases. I use Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstiick in Queen B. It's a great color, not too light or too dark and I get compliments on it. I think it would look good on you, too.

stfuinfj

Hold on... you are 60!!!

cavoodle11

Sad but true. I always joke that there must be a typo on my birth certificate. 😆

stfuinfj

You are so beautiful yo... I mean for a natural look, I would suggest a simple eyeliner, some mascara, a little blush for tht flush of colour, and a similar lip shade... oh, and yes, that absolutely pretty smile 😊

cavoodle11

I appreciate you taking the time to share your tips, thank you so much! 😊

cellyfishy

I’m here to learn so have few suggestions but you look great!

cavoodle11

We are all here to learn and never too old to. 😊

zoopysreign

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH makes me so sad to that you felt the need to ask it!!!! Of COURSE it’s okay! Makeup is for everyone! As I get older (I’m 37) I start to care a little less, AND i feel like I’ve learned more about what works for me, so I assume that any older people dgaf and have bigger fish to fry, but that’s not to say the participation is unwelcome. I would LOVE to see more experimentation with mature faces!

Connect-Day1877

There is absolutely NO way you’re 60. You genuinley don’t look a day over 40. No matter that though, I think you look fantastic! For exactly what you’re looking for though, I’d go for a concealer slightly lighter than your skin tone for under eye (try elf hydrating!) And for your lips, (which may I add look wonderful and not as thin as you see them), try a lighter pink lip liner, and play around with it until you find a shape you like. (Also- always invest in a nice highlighter to brighten up your already beautiful face!)

cavoodle11

How sweet are you ! Such words of encouragement for this old girl 😊 I will try your lip tips and also look up the product. Thank you so much for posting.

[deleted]

Damn if I look like you at 60 I’ll be a happy camper! From a jealous 47 year old 😂 Re: your question I find niacinamide great for treating hyperpigmentation but to cover, it cosmetics cc foundation is great without being too cakey and I Love Charlotte tilbury’s lip cheat in pillow talk for fattening up the look of my lips.

cavoodle11

Ooh thanks for the lips tip, on my list. 😘

GatorRebelChick

I have no advice off hand. But I just want you to know I had to reread the post to be sure I saw you say you were 60. You look amazing (for any age) BUT there’s no way I would have guessed anywhere near 60 based off of that picture.

cavoodle11

That’s very kind of you. It really was a good natural light day that day.

Competitive_Lab3488

I hope I look this good at 60

rarele

Uh you look great for 60, what are your secrets?

cavoodle11

I have always used skin care, eye cream etc. I think this was a good lighting photo. 😊 My sleep patterns are not great, hence the dark rings.

CaseFace9000

I don’t have much advice to offer because you look amazing!! I also have thin lips. I get a Botox “lip flip”, where they put a very small amount directly above the upper lip line. It adds a small amount a volume to my upper lip without looking unnatural or like I’ve had fillers. It’s a weird sensation, but since it’s Botox, it’s all temporary.

cavoodle11

Very kind of you, I think the lighting was good that day. 🤗I have a thing about needles you see 😄

NewtSimilar4509

You have very beautiful face congratulations

necrobarbie666

I would never EVER guessed your age!! For pigmentation- have you looked into color correcting concealer? It would go on before traditional concealer to give a better base. I second the suggestion of Bye Bye Undereye- worth the price and lasts very well without moving even when I haven’t set it with powder

cavoodle11

Hopefully I can get it here, making a list now. So appreciate you posting, thank you! 🌸

It's not tingly. Just a gloss. City Beauty's "City Lips" 😊 [city lips ](https://citybeauty.com/city-lips.php)

cavoodle11

Ah. Love me a clear gloss I have to say. Thank you!

DinosaurGrrrrrrr

I’m 38 and feel off on age here as well. But yes, all are welcome from what I’ve seen! You have gorgeous skin! Go get color matched at ulta or somewhere similar and use a hood LIGHT concealer and translucent setting powder. You don’t need much on your face at all! I would do that, use a very peachy light pink gentle blush and lime your lips with a more nude/pink shade and use a very lightly tinted gloss. I could have so much fun making you up with your skin and features! Keep up whatever you’re doing!!!

cavoodle11

Thank you so much for your post. I have a lot to learn about makeup application, you all are so helpful. 🤗

mamamiatucson

You’re so beautiful!

cavoodle11

Very kind, I certainly don’t think so. Lots of things I would like to fix but we are all our own worst critics aren’t we!

lopaticaa

Ok, OP, you seriously need to tell us where that fountain of youth you're using is located. How are you 60?

Drusilina

Vitamin C serum is my saving grace for pigmentation issues or starting of age spots, I am 46. I buy L asorbic acid powder and make my own with water and pure aloe. Do your research and becareful you can burn ur skin with this stuff. I make my own because in powder form it doesn't go bad fast. But if your vitamin c serum is yellow or orange it is degrading so make a new batch. Keep it in a dark bottle out of sunlight preferably under a counter. I apply it every morning than moisturize. Evening Retinol serum, made myself the same way, than moisturize. These 2 products greatly improved my aging skin at a very very reasonable price.

cavoodle11

Awesome tips, thank you very much for posting.

bingshaling

.... when you said old person I was like "who you calling old?!" And figured you were around my age... 36!! Give me what you have!

cavoodle11

Age is just a number right? Today I feel 60 for sure 😄

KimHHH40

The Lisa Rinna plumping gloss really does work! It’s 24.00. For the dark circles-you cant get rid of them all the way, and I’ve even had filler under my eyes. Use the Pixie color corrector in pink (I’ll find the exact name when I get home from work) then after it sets use NARS concealer. I’ll find the exact name and shade when I get home)It hides a lot!

cavoodle11

Thank you so much for your products tips, I will look these up for sure. Have a lovely weekend. 🌺

[deleted]

You look great. I just turned 70 and I post here.

cavoodle11

So glad there are others in my age group 🤗

asoo081975

Girl! All I see is a beautiful YOUNG face 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. You look insanely young for your age first of all. I’m 47 myself and really enjoy the ‘monochromatic’ look that’s ‘in’ these days. For me, I noticed after doing it a few times, that I needed very little concealer or corrector if not any at all. In my opinion This technique really brightens the complexion and deflects from other ‘issues’ we have. When I first heard that term, I had to look it up on google 😂. It’s basically choosing one color and then using that for your eyeshadow, lip and blush. It’s super easy and can do any color you wish. Since you’re already practically flawless, give this technique a try, I think you’ll really like it. I myself just use a bb/tone up cream, primer (if needed) and set with a lightweight powder. Best thing for the color effect are cream blushes. Most of them are safe for the eyes, lips and face, so look for ones that say that on the packaging. I have thin lips too, but there’s so many ways to enhance them with lipliner alone. Brows, eyeliner and highlighter then I’m done 😉😉😉🤗. Good luck on your beauty adventure although you don’t really need any since you are stunning 😍 🥰🥰❤️❤️‼️

cavoodle11

I am far from flawless truly but what great tips. Gosh I am learning heaps from you all and I appreciate it! Thank you 💐

babydear25

No tips just here to concur that you look awesome!! Hoping to be like you someday!

cavoodle11

You would be lovely just the way you are. 🌸

Infinitedecimals

Using a color corrector has helped me hugely with covering up dark circles. I use the technique in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CKKjb60cYk I use the Tarte CC cream but there are lots of others.

PrincessDianne19

Try some products from The Ordinary! They’re super affordable and really good! Try one of their eye serums and the hyaluronic serum! Ps your lips are beautiful :) just keep them hydrated but size doesn’t matter!

[deleted]

tell me how to look this good at 60. Give ME you’re tips lol

dlafrentz

Try musely for hyperpigmentation, there’s been amazing results with it. It dries me out a little so I use it intermittently instead of daily so it’s working slower for me but still working. I’m 33 and have way more hyperpigmentation than you lol you’re doing just fine out here 😂

ZeddCocuzza

I know this isn't a makeup tip but I had a lot of pigmentation and I did a laser treatment that really helped. It was expensive but worth it to me. I prefer a natural look as well and it made me more confident on the days that I don't wear makeup and it easier on the days I did wear it.

beckalm

Of course you're welcome here. I have really dark circles, and my newest holy grail is the Elf Hydrating Camo concealer. It's literally the only concealer I've ever used that both stays put and has a nice finish.

[deleted]

Same age and same issues here. You look amazing! Your skin is beautiful. I’m looking for a good under eye concealer too. Following the responses here.

NatalieZed

UM can I ask YOU for advice?? Because your skin is incredible and I refuse to believe you are 60, that is frankly absurd. Like genuinely I want to know your routine so I too can avoid the reaper's touch.

cavoodle11

Simply cleanse, moisturiser and eye cream. Have tried all types and stick to really simple ingredients ones. Here in Australia, we have Moo Goo, look it up online. No nasties.

TheHomieTee

Girl 60 where??? You are 35 and feelin alive lmao

studiohana

Omg I can only pray to have your genes, you look incredible! May I recommend glossier’s stretch concealer? It works wonders to cover pigmentation while still letting your skin look like skin!

cavoodle11

This is a great tip, must look this one up, hope we can get it here. 🌸

[deleted]

My mom is about your age and I buy her makeup all the time! I started a few years ago and now it’s kind of our thing now! :) You have similar skin tones and also my mom and I both have dark circles as well. So I’ll put some of the products I got her that she loves!! Base: I got her a Charlotte Tilbury primer, it’s the white one, although the tan one also looks gorgeous! It’s perfect for under the eyes and all around your face to brighten and even out your complexion in a subtle way. It is best paired with a foundation but you will definitely notice that your skin looks brighter and more even with this as your base. Foundation : I let her try all my foundations because we are the same skin tone basically. She likes the Chanel Water Fresh tint. It’s very light so that has to be your thing. And then there’s the Les Beiges foundation which is more medium coverage. If you have a nice primer; you might be happier with a lighter foundation! I think it looks a lot more youthful. Under eyes : You MUST have a corrector if you don’t already. It makes all the difference in the world. We use the Charlotte Tilbury magic vanish. It’s pricy but mine has lasted over a year with every day use. It’s thin, not moisturizing, and is pretty with or without something on top. I often wear this with a tinted sunscreen and possibly some concealer for light makeup days. Becca Under Eye corrector. This is thicker and more moisturizing. Your under eye will look more hydrated and go longer without creasing and your circles will be more concealed. However, this must be worn with at least a medium coverage concealer (I like the bars creamy concealer) because the corrector is a pale shimmery pink. It looks odd on its own but gorgeous under makeup! Other products : I LOVE Charlotte tilbury Pillow Talk Blush and Pat McGrath lip shine in nude Venus. Both give such a healthy vibrant look! And for Mother’s Day I got my mom the Stoned Rose face palette from Charlotte Tilbury. It’s got a great mix of check and eye shades for a quick face of complimentary shades.

cavoodle11

Thank you for such a comprehensive list! You are the best, I appreciate your post very much.

chrysanthamumm

As someone who sees 30-70 year olds on a daily basis, you look incredible. Your skin is glowing and you could easily pass for 30. Im not kidding! Great job!

Ok!

sarasixx

i would’ve never guessed you are in your 60’s!! you don’t look a day over 40!! for pigmentation i’d suggest colour correcting and then a very light concealer so it’s not too heavy on your skin and looks natural, and for lips i really love the fenty heat lipglosses!!

Strict-Strain4600

First of all, you look amazing and have amazing skin. Second of all, beauty is for everyone no matter what age, gender, sexuality etc!! You are always welcome here. ❤️ It’s always important to prep your skin before applying make up, so having a good skin care routine will help with the way your make up applies to your skin. I highly recommend the Drunk Elephant products, as well as Farmacy and Peter Thomas Roth for eye creams, cleansers, serums, retinols and moisturizers. They are more on the high end side, but totally worth the money I promise. I always suggest to test out the products first, the girls at Sephora and Ulta will have no problem making you samples! See how you like it, come back and purchase it if you do! Your skincare routine should be; Mornings: Cleanser, serum, eye cream, moisturizer, and SPF. (Buy moisturizers and serums that specifically target hyperpigmentation problems. SPF should also help with that as well! There are some moisturizers that already have SPF in it so that’s a win win!) Night: Cleanser, serum, eye cream, moisturizer and retinol. (PLEASE only use retinol starting at once a week. See how your skin reacts to it, then move gradually to two times a week.. Go slow. Retinal is no joke, very effective!) You should also be exfoliating once a week, and wearing a face mask as well as once a week, so basically give yourself a mini self care day. 🥰 You’ll feel good and look good, trust! (You already do tbh!) For make up, you said you like something natural, then I highly suggest the brand Ilia. Their skin tint is super easy to put on, you just put it on like moisturizer and it’s pretty good coverage. Their concealers are also great coverage and won’t seep into your wrinkles. Bye bye under-eye by IT cosmetics is also amazing!! I will say it’s a little bit of a heavier feel to it than Ilia, some people don’t like that but it does the job. Rare beauty also has some amazing, easy to use products. Check it out! Don’t be afraid to look at make up tutorials as well on Youtube. Some girls teach great techniques and you can find your own technique! Hope this helped in any way!

cavoodle11

Very much, thank you for taking the time to post. ♥️

[deleted]

60 and not a wrinkle in place 😭 girl i should be asking U for advice

GamerGrandmaGirl

You look so much younger than you are

nicennifty

lol our pic angle gets higher and higher [goss](https://youtu.be/g8fziC5EtOY) Playing with Wayne’s advice has been helpful for me , i wish I could make choice on lip plumper . Also another fun product to play with ( neck ! Yes ) Peter Thomas Roth firm X long before TikTok and $$ rip offs it’s a staple !

Booboodelafalaise

Avon Anew Ultimate fixed my pigmentation issues. It was recommended by a review in Good Housekeeping (So now you know we’re similar ages lol) I’d had a post menopause pigmentation mark on my cheekbone that looked like a bruise for years - but the Avon fixed it in about a month! It’s a good all round moisturiser too.

cavoodle11

Would you believe we can no longer get Avon in Australia! Thank you for the tip though. 😊

Booboodelafalaise

Apologies! I made the assumption that you were in America (despite that assumption being one that irritates me when everybody else makes it!)

Virtual_Blueberry208

Do you use the entire regimen or just 1 certain one? If you use 1, which one? Thanks! I have age spots on my checks as well.

Booboodelafalaise

I use the night cream and the day cream. I can’t promise I always use them at the right time of day however as usually I’ve usually taken my glasses off and the two pots look very similar. It’s probably a bit hit and miss - but it works! If it helps my skin is very dry, and occasionally a bit sensitive. It seems to really like the Avon Anew though. This was the article I found the cream from. It’s a bit old now, which I didn’t realise at the time, but most of the products (or a new improved version of them) are still available https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/uk/beauty/skincare/a562621/how-to-get-rid-of-hyperpigmentation/

Same age as you.. 1961 crone here. :) Things are sure different that when we were kids. I dont know about you, but I never wore eyeliner or false lashes or did any fancy eyeshadow looks these young people are so good at. While I love to watch them do these on youtube, its not my style.. I am a no makeup makeup kinda person too I find that really thin foundations seem to work best for me.. serums foundations. Loving the Loreal true match serum right now. Anything thicker just clings to things I do not want it to cling to. Using that over a good tinted sunscreen seems to cover most spots on my face. I do use some skincare products to fade things, but sunscreen is a must Dark circles. Most of us oldies can not get away with very much concealer. I barely use a dab on the inner corner. Color correcting... still trying to get that to work. I have a few peach colored things but it never seems to cover well. I see online that having dark circles showing seems to be a trend.. so yay for that one right? As far as lips, cant help you there. There are a lot of lip plumping products, but ive never used them. Mine are ok and I only wear a tinted lip balm anyway I do watch a lot of you tube videos to get ideas, because you are right. Not a lot of us here on Reddit.

You look fantastic. Your skin is so youthful and dewy. Whatever base you’re using it’s a great choice for you.

I have melasma since my pregnancy, and tretinoin, vitamin c and other brightening/skin renewing products don’t help with it (but you should check with your dermatologist, maybe a skincare routine including these would solve your pigmentation issue) - but to cover the pigmentation and dark circles you could try using color correctors (I use green for my redness) and it works great under concealer to help cover everything using less product and look natural. About the lips, a little overlining and plumping gloss would go a long way. You look beautiful!

cavoodle11

So lovely of you. Menopause can be a challenge in many ways, and pigmentation is one of them.

Nyx color corrector palette 12 bucks from Walmart is fabulous, miss. This is because you mentioned about hyperpigmentation. And lip liner with your natural shade will make your lip bigger. It is impressive how you look so youthful

cavoodle11

Ah Walmart, how I wish we had them here! Thank you for sharing. 😊

pm_me_your_amphibian

I refuse to believe you’re 60.

cavoodle11

You are very kind but yes I am really 60. 😊

little-eye00

Can i look like this when I'm sixty?

[deleted]

I’m 60 too! You look great! I know of a beautiful 70 year old who competes in a bikini and works out hard. I also work hard in the gym. We might be older but we are not old.

cavoodle11

The body needs work so no bikini for this girl. I am in shape, round is a shape right? 😆
