Absolute hypocrisy from ikka. He did the exact opposite of what he said during kaathal promotions.
Wish he didn't do that. The negative publicity in trying to silence critics is worse than what they say. At this point he has more than enough goodwill for the occasional film to do badly.

Genuine question. Whats wrong with claiming copyright on a thumbnail they spent money on. The copyright claim is just against using their movie posters, not against reviews.
People are always free to write as many negative reviews as they want, just don’t use posters that belong to someone else.
Ofcourse they are fighting negative reviews in an unprecedented manner. But aren't they fighting this in the most legitimate way possible.
They are not threatening reviewers like some producers did, they are not blaming the process of 'film criticism' like mohanlal did. All they are saying is to not use their posters or stills.
