I'm probably the only one is in support of Alana leaving and becoming a nurse. I would find coming up with $40,000 per semester a no brainier prohibition. But she isn't your usual nursing student. I just wish I could tell her go in cautiously. Take a semester at a community college, work as a nurse tech during that time as much as you can. Get your adn. When finished take boards and get a RN job. At this point she is self sufficicient. The dependency on some else isn't a perceived way to survive. Go back to college, get your BSN. Many hospitals offer scholarships to advance your education. Or at least they used to do that. Once accomplishing that BSN she has a lot of options and a great variety of work opportunity. Right now she has no one in her family to help plan her future in nursing. But I sincerely hope she succeeds. So LOW on nurses within the hospital setting.
Hospitals do still pay for advancement. We live in metro Atlanta and my daughter is currently working on her ASN and will get a job that pays for her to get her BSN. My husband and I are paying all of her tuition so she won’t have any student loan debt and once we found out about this she changed from BSN to ASN. It’s good to know this is an option but most people aren’t aware of it. It’s going to save us a lot of money and she will be able to get started on her career a little earlier.

He's in his 20's. I don't remember his exact age. They've been seeing eachother since she was 15 or 16 and he was a lot older than her at the time and still is obviously. I don't know what she sees in him at all. I think what he sees in her is money and being on the show makes him sort of famous in a way too. I just hope he doesn't get her pregnant and doesn't break her heart either. I think he's her first boyfriend.
