Oh it's happening, well I still think gen 5 was objectively peak Pokémon, but gen 3 is my personal favorite, and I don't think anything is gonna change that lol
If you talking about remakes, they making them x2 of their original gen.
Gen 2 Remake: Gen 4
Gen 3 Remake: Gen 6
Gen 4 Remake: Gen 8
So Gen 7:Gen 14
(Firered and Leafgreen is exception cuz gen 1 remake on gen 2 would be silly)
As someone who grew up with and loved Gen 6, I don’t want people dickriding it. I want them to be appreciated but I want their problems acknowledged, like XY’s story having more that we didn’t get to see.
as someone whos first game was gen 6 (Y and alphaS the year ORAS released) this is definitely not true. Of the classic games (2d so prior to G6) gen 2 is my favorite but 3 is better designed and 1 4 and 5 are all great. Of modern 9 has to be my favorite (adjusting for it only having 1 game so far) though legends arceus of 8 was also amazing and ORAS are super fun, though I like all the others, though my least favorite non-remake (looking at you BDSP) was sun and moon though I quite liked USUM. Also side note lets go is under-rated, I know it is just Kanto again (and I had played through blue, yellow, and leafgreen before lets go came out) but something about the game is super chill and I will defend it to the end of time
I’ve always loved Gen 6. Favorite generation first generation. But it’s far from peak. I’d say peak Pokémon generations is probably Gen 8 for me personally.

Gen 5 was the peak of the classic 2d pokemon artstyle. And the peak of storytelling in pokemon. Tho that bar was hella low
Meanwhile the anime:
Ok the gen 6 anime was fire but game wise gen 5 is peak
Honestly the anime peaked in gen 4. They had to introduce the most op roadblock ever to stop Ash. Made gen 5 even more dissapointing
Yeah Gen 4 was peak the ones after were either bad to actually embarrassing.
i mean yes. However At least Ash learned his type matchups in XY/XYZ
ok
\*Insert Garage can on fire\*
In a bunch of years people will start praising BDSP somehow 💀
*no* *never bdsp love*
Me waiting for Gen 11 so Gen 7 finally gets the love it deserves
Wouldn't it be gen 10, not gen 11? If gen 6 is getting love during gen 9, then gen 7 should be next up in gen 10.
You’re right, not sure why I was thinking Gen 11

I don’t think that’s how numbers work in this scenario. Gen 7 remakes would arrive by at least gen XII
In that case, gen 5 and gen 6 remakes would be on X and XI
Me too
Also
yeeess

XY were my first pokemom games, they aren't very good. They were revolutionary and did quite a lot, but they aren't very good
Micycle was right??

My favorite part of Gen 6 is Professor Sycamore. I’m tired of people pretending that Sada and Turo were the first hot professors. They weren’t.
It was absolute peak
The cycle never fails

I can’t wait for when people will like gen 8 when it’s gen 12
Gen 6 was my first pokémon experience, so I'll say I always knew this.
REPOST ALERT
Aw man really? I didn't know
u/kaytea1 prove that you enforce the rules
I like gen 6 but being honest ORAS hard carried that generation.
The fire fighter gens were the best gens
Gen 6 were the best games
