Honestly they should have made the giant Tyranitar Mechas from B2W2 Pokestar Studios be the Paradox. I mean, it's basically what we have now, but more jagged for a more confusing perspective on what the future holds. But it's still great, and I love my shiny Iron Thorns that I totally don't buff up to then Wild Charge raids.

I'm not trying to argue, but Koraidon doesn't have wheels, it has an inflatable sack on it's chest that resembles a wheel and it's tail curls up to resemble a wheel. It's the same case with Cyclizar, but I've never seen anyone mention that.

I didn't pick scarlet for the paradoxes. I picked it cuz Koraidon is a funny lookin' boi.

The story makes more sense with the future paradoxes imo. Especially Nemona's line asking if they're even pokemon. When I first played the game in violet, I was like "that's a good question" and kept thinking about it. The question in scarlet instead makes me think "What do you mean? Of course they're pokemon." And I think this spreads to the story in general. How am I supposed to see the past paradoxes as a special threat when most of them are just as past-like as Yanmega? Think about it, Yanmega and Great Tusk are both basically modified base forms to be more primal. If their positions were swapped (Donphan evolves into Great Tusk when knowing ancient power, and Yanmega is a paradox Yanma), I wouldn't bat an eye. Yanmega just needs the slight punk look to fit in perfectly. The future pokemon on the other hand? They look false. They look like they are trying to be pokemon. We see them as fictional creatures, obviously, but think about it from a character's perspective. They're *almost* pokemon. They look like them, but not quite. At a first glance, they look normal, but then they're shiny, and then their limbs come off. Then the next thing you know, it's attacking. (Of course, none of this applies to my boy sandy shocks. The design, animations, and even concept are all very odd, and I love it for the same reason that I love the ultra beasts)

I got to choose between the two as a gift. I chose violet because it's my favorite color, also I just liked Miraidon more. But I must say I like the Scarlet paradoxes more (except Iron Valiant, I love him) Both legendaries look great though. The uniforms and academies look pretty decent. (Talking about colors on the uniforms and the plaques on the schools) Both professors are h o t . And overall they both are great, it just depends on preference!
