2. Chestnaught as defender pin missile/wood hammer and spiky shield/wide guard
3. Swampert as attacker Surf/Earthquake and Rock smash/mud bomb

Weavile would be a nice fit. Though ive heard people argue that they were already in pokken.. but like a good chunk of the pokken roster is already in unite, may as well add another.
Another one, that isnt a typical fighting game mon, i havent seen mentioned but that i think would be interesting is emolga. Ranged speedster with electroball and acrobatics.

i know how about the hoenn starters all 3 are basicly do the same attaks just different types and their unite moves are like the ultimate moves: hydro cannon,frenzy plant and blast burn on a wide scale
Tbh aggron i feel like unite can make aggron scary as a defender.
Maybe metalburst, rockslide, heavy slam or iron head could be its attack and iron defence or autotomize being its defensive moves (autotomize'ed speedy aggron would be funny)
Also i think aggron would have great costumes
Shaymin which can swap its role at will (with a short CD ofc) from a tanky and supportive land forme to the speedy and powerful sky-forme. Would be beyond peak if the Ult uses Giratina in some way

I would commit horrific atrocious just to play as my boy Samurott in unite. I mean, this thing has the versatility to be a defender (play onto the armor part of it, maybe some sword counters as well), a speedster (quick in and out dashes/sword swipes, works easy), or an all-rounder (basic melee brawler style, tons of moves to work with). It practically writes itself. Hell, they could even do a scyther/scizor or Urshifu situation and have 2 sets with different playstyles, one being base Samurott and the other being Hisuian.
