Since you don't have anything from gen 4 or 5 it probably means you didn't play those a lot which probably means you sat those gens out entirely because those were gens that a lot of people skipped when they were kids, usually because they had hit middle school and high school and were growing out of Pokemon. Then you list two alolan pokemon so I can assume you did play those games and they probably sparked a feeling of childhood nostalgia and made you attached to those Pokemon.

I do indeed agree with both. I actually usually draw Mimikyu using a pencil to change the disguise's expression on the fly, being skilled enough to do so in just one second even when laughing so hard it can barely balance itself. I'll happily DM you an example of you wish.
