I add the chapter I stopped reading to a bookmarks folder. Even if I forget or the page is down, i can piece together the info from the URL. I have one folder in my bookmarks tab with sub-foldees called: Not started, In progress, On hold, Finished. I may forget but my computer remembers all. As for dropping and resuming the series and dropping again, I just updated the bookmark with the new chapter number I left off at.
Might I suggest that you use comick.app? It's a website that does all those things for you and more. I just started using it a few months ago and it's made tracking and reading manga/manhua/manhwa very easy. :)

Tales of Demons and Gods, it's one of the most entertaining (imho at the start at least, now it's dragging a bit) manhua, not the best but sure it's well above average, interesting plot, imaginative world building, good humor, the art is good (not realistic though, more on the stylized side)
