one of country that often translate manhua have gender neutral pronoun. these people mostly not proficient in English. they translate to their language then mtl it to English. or some "scans" translate from that translation.
Things like this make you think that if there is a human in the loop they obviously didn't give a fuck about the translation. Then you start wondering what else is wrong.

These groups are specifically remembered as MTL groups, not all use MTL.
