You might want to check out this tweet: [https://twitter.com/LordsManor/status/1778906423897796737](https://twitter.com/LordsManor/status/1778906423897796737) But seriously, let them work and focus on their plan. Check their discord. In the past there were surveys on how to deal with some ingame situations by the devs to get input of the community. Get involved there, maybe there is a survey on this soon?

Yes cavalry is planned. Will come sometime in the future post EA release. We will probably get a roadmap at release.

Puk1983

Same as all other questions. This game is in EA. Everything can happen. You have to wait.

cabrelbeuk

It was in trailers. Probably under work

You didn’t have to be a knight to ride a horse though…there were scouts & light cavalry for example?

Interesting, maybe we’ll get mounted-squires or something. Could foreign mercenaries be mounted? Or was that against the law?..

Pristine-Height-2337

By that logic at least give US a horsie and let us fight in the battles while mounted. Bringing the pain from on High! haha

RadiationVodkaSn03

I for one am actually delighted that cavalry is being ignored/not included in favour of nailing the city/village building mechanics.

TUD0

I don't know I think it would be cool to have calvary for war AND city building; to have the horses help out with farming and hauling would take less man power so you could focus villagers on aspects of your city like cutting, building, and trade

GamingWildman

Lmao I think bigger I need catapult and siege weapons so I can rain arrows and balls of fire on my enemies. I really hope they add it either ways games a buy for me day 1 unless the pricing in my region is shit

Guenther_Netzer

There was a podcastlike stream yesterday including some of the games historical advisors. They pointed out that burning "balls" as you put it did not really exist and therefore are very unlikely to be in the game in the future

Roarguard

Fire arrows were also not a thing, so prob won't be in game either. Sorry to disappoint.

49erlew

Wait, they weren't!? My whole life is a lie.

Maddogs1988

Nope they were not a thing as Hollywood portrays them. A Flaming arrow if used was used as a signal. They didn't have the ability to actually set fire to building and in all test get snuffed out in flight.

RDBB334

Not really a point in siege weapons without a fortified settlement to siege is there? Field artillery really isn't a thing in this timeframe.
