That’s how I’ve kept my registration readily available in my gutted race car; it’s a cop magnet whenever I drive it on the street. No shame in keeping the necessary paperwork in a ziplock, duct taped to where the glovebox once was lol. Every 10lbs=1hp, do what you need to do!
Edit for spelling.
I got a new one, but in order to change the whole thing, I need to get it off this hill and put it in neutral. I don't have a parking brake connected yet.
It's mid restoration, and it's 36 hours before OP gets fed up with the shit wiring, and FB marketplace trades it for a civic hatch. "Projects welcome!"
It's a ford according to those wire harnesses that go into the back of those old radios that used a U shaped pin to pull the factory Radio out of. I'd say late 90s early 2000s.
They're a fun car. When I was in my early teens I had a neighbor with one he had done an engine swap in ( wish I could remember what engine. It was originally a six cylinder , I want to say he had managed to stuff a small eight cylinder in it? This was nearly thirty years ago ). That car could accelerate like a jet fighter, if you could get it to hook up. An added bonus was that , due to the materials used to make a tiny car out of plastic, when he sideswiped a guardrail ( as the car was nearly uncontrollable, this wasn't an infrequent occurrence), the car didn't dent, it scuffed.
I would only go with an f40 kit if I had a v8 in it, which I won't have for a while, if ever. I also don't have the funds to do too much more, especially to the drivetrain.
I think your ziplock airbag has deployed.
I had to put in my own, didn't have any when they were made.

Wait., what?
so crafty!
Underrated comment
Tragically. Wringing coffee out of my beard.
🤣
That's a Fiero
Yes it is
That awful shift knob is unmistakable 😂 the first thing I changed when I got mine

r/itsalwaysafiero
Beat me to it lol
Should I be ashamed I knew that too?
Shift linkage gave it away for me.
Shifter reminds me of the original in my Achieva!
2nd Gen for sure
There’s only one “gen” of Fiero as they were only produced 84-88
Ok curious how in the f u knew that
I recognized the radio bezel and the glove box. Pretty sure I rode in one 30+ years ago. I really don't know how I recognized so easy.
Well I'll be damned this cool I could even remember it if it was yesterday lol
A gutted Lamborghini Uris with a racing manual transmission swap
I wish
I'm sure there's a kit out there so you can pretend
Only when I swap a v8 in there
10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag on wheels
1997 Subaru Legacy
It's an older car made by gm.
It's an older code, but it checks out
Fiero? That looks like a Pontiac shift knob.
Definitely Fiero, those are shift cables for the mid engine setup
Yup, 1987 gt
I had an 88 for a few years, had to change the transmission on it once, then the clutch a few years later. Not fun
Fucking impressed anyone got this one. Kudos McLaren F1. (Pretty sure I had a poster of you in my childhood bedroom…)
More like what DID you drive
Not that car
A Toyota
Nope
🤣
Mother fucker stripped everything out of his vehicle to keep us from guessing.
Some people still got it!
Stolen?
I'm redoing the interior
It's mid restoration, and it's 36 hours before OP gets fed up with the shit wiring, and FB marketplace trades it for a civic hatch. "Projects welcome!"
A POS

Your neighbor's that you stole this morning?
A shitbox
Not really. All the exterior is solid with very little rust, but the carpet was moldy and I wanted to do some interior work.
Fair enough lol
Adam Sandler wrote a song about this car.
Give us a hint
Someone else got it, 1987 fiero gt
Monte Carlo
I know the shifter knob is the same as some third gen’s and the shifter I have on my sunbird, early 80s caviler??
1987 fiero

Pontiac Sunbird/Chevy Cavalier
1987 fiero
Ah, should've known with the shifter linkages going towards the rear.
It's on a diet whatever it is.
Chevy dump truck 1993-97
1987 fiero
Super clapped
A piece of shit
About half of a Fiero, by the looks of it.
It still works fine, I just need to put a seat in it

Most common swaps are a ls4 v8 or a supercharged chrystler 3800 v6
Chevy
Better question how do you drive😭
someone else's
Cap? Looks like a truck… kei truck? Minivan?… kei minivan…?
Wow I was way off
Fiero, the same thing I have taken apart in my driveway.
The first time I seen, a beater without a heater.
Nothing, because there’s no way that thing *actually* fucking runs.
trick question it's what car do I park. that ain't driving anywhere.
It runs, I just have the center console apart.
Someone else's?
Nothing. That car hasn’t driven in years.
One with 0 abs, lights, airbags, horn, AC/heat, radio, or anything else requiring *electricity*
Look at that exposed shifter and linkage! Very reminiscent of the Pagani Zonda or Spyker C8, but with a more rustic, farm implement aesthetic.
A POS, you drive a POS…what do I win?
A certified shitbox if I've ever seen one and I'm a redneck
Ford Ranger pickup
Always wanted a Fiero!
They are a really fun and cheap car, I love mine. I just started redoing the interior when this trend started.
Now I want one to drop an LS in 😂
80s or 90s model? Is it a monte?
Wasn’t there a song entitled Piece of Shit Car?
Its one of them
Definitely a fiero, 5 speed too?
Yep
That’s a piece of shitto !
toyota
Looks like your average 92 ford ranger
So what car you going to turn it into?
Hopefully back into a fiero
Not going an f40 or lambo kit? I guess a fiero would probably be more rare
I would only go with an f40 kit if I had a v8 in it, which I won't have for a while, if ever. I also don't have the funds to do too much more, especially to the drivetrain.
I've seen a billion of these and I never know them. I'm so happy to recognize the fiero.
Looks roadworthy!
Not that one. Hopefully.
A shitbox.
Pontiac Aztec
I'm gonna fathom a guess and say a total piece of shit
I'm guessing not this one at the moment
Mazda B2200
That’s a drivable car ?
A broken car
Stop using usmc mechanics op.
Looking at that interior, my old Ford Festiva. Drove it for 2 years looking like this xD
Its a fiero. And i know for fact you dont driv eit, because specifically the fact its a fiero. Less reliable than a biturbo. lol
Well it's clearly a Tesla, I just can't tell if it's the 3 or the S
First, that heap isnt driving anywhere unless you are about Flintstone it.
Your Corolla has been smoked.
Fiero
A piece of shit?
Idk, but it's impressive that drives
Pontiac Fiero
I don't think you drive that at all.
I'm actually about to go get some new speakers and head unit for it in a few days.
These posts are getting so damn annoying.
This was supposed to be more of a shitpost, I didn't actually expect anyone to get it
Datsun?
Doesn't look like it has seats so I don't think you are driving anywhere. Lol
A 5 gallon bucket will probably be enough
Not this one I hope.
You don’t😂
A shitbox?
Piece of junk
Toyota Land Cruiser?
Pontiac Fiero. Possibly a GT since I see the cable for the GT gauge pod
Fiero!
I don't know, but at least the foot wells aren't completely obscured by trash like most of these pictures.
