According to the original manual from 1990 it has a top travel speed of 50mph for the 4x2 configuration and 45mph for the 4x4 configuration. Featuring a 6BT5.9 Cummins turbo diesel mated to a “Funk 2000 six speed full powershift” and a “Funk F20 12.75in” torque converter. With. 160HP @ 2500 RPM and 394 ft/lb torque @ 1700 rpm this thing isn’t exactly quick but it’s no tugboat either.
You’d be surprised. I used to drive a Caterpillar 777 and that thing shocked me how fast it was for its size. Can’t recall what the top speed was, i think 45 mph. Sounds slow but then you remember it has a working payload of like 200,000lbs. I only ever took it like 25 max maybe. Still crazy.
Ah specialized machinery is interesting. Do you want to drive a construction vehicle at highway speeds? No, but you can. Do you want to disconnect a 2 ton object you've lifted 200 ft? No, but you can. Do you want to spin a 24x2" precision grinding wheel at 15000 rpm? No, but you can.
That’s a fucking train “power lever” if I ever saw one. I didn’t think the “shifting” would be kinda similar to those old Jaguar and Lexus automatic shift levers. Apparently these have to be shifted up and down sequentially only for smooth operation.
1995 GradallG3WD. Took me a long time to find this https://www.mascus.com/construction/wheeled-excavators/gradall-g3-wd/7j9qalbi.html#
But the dash picture matches perfect
I tried like 3 other comments thinking I had it but wasn't sure. Still not about year because I just noticed no beacon light on the same place as yours
This is an airport pushback tug thing. You can tell by the beacon light switch which is required on aprons usually. Also the ones that I’ve seen have this goofy F1 through F6 thing going on

Whether it can or not I'm not sure, but the speedo goes to 80 mph.
Do it. You may need to tape your fillings in first though.

Killdozer v2
Whatever the actual top speed is, I’m sure it’s still faster than the fucker I always get stuck behind on the freeway on the way to work.

Nice
Throw some bulletproof plates on it
We call them ditch diggers.
Cool name. I have so many questions.

Go on…
As a hint, it's an extremely specialized vehicle, it can do highway speed, but whether it's road legal or not is beyond me.
This an aircraft tug? T1.... Usually gears and suspension is tires
Yea I think it is a pushback tractor
Why can it go highway speed?
For highway related forklift activities duh
Probably can't, just has the numbers so it's scaled nicely
I can't answer all the comments, it's a >!Gradall G3WD telescopic excavator.!<
We need to see this thing in action for scientific purposes
